Overcoming false brethren, deceitfulness, deceptions and auguementations of sin in the last days.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Matthew 24:12-13. 

Those who are not rooted and grounded in the word of God  – rooted and grounded in the faith and life of Christ – rooted and grounded in the practical obedient love of God  shall be offended, influenced to compromise and overcome by sin from the world and by the sin in the church in this last days. As the end approaches, steadfast loyalty, uncompromising upright life in a determined heart, fervency in the spirit and devotion to God shall become inceasingly difficult in the world, only the people with a genuine encounter with God and a resolute mind to get to the ned of the race at all cost by holding on to faith and good conscience shall go through to the end and be saved. 1 Timothy 1:19.

The text before us is very clear on two things to be expected in the last days from the world and church because of the scandals of the false prophets and their evil deeds and lifesyles in the name of religion, namely, (a) auguementation of sin, the inevitable proliferation of sin in the church and world –  because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Though a sinner does evil a hundred times and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him. But it shall not be well with the wicked; neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow, because he feareth not before God. Ecclesiastes 8:11-13: (b) the love of many shall wax cold which speaks of the moral and spiritual negative effects and dominant impact of sin from the world and sin from inside the church against those who are weak of heart and faith.

Quench not the spirit. 1 Thessalonians 5:19.

Examine yourself if you are still in the faith once delivered unto the fathers and not the new generation faith. How have you received Christ?  What zeal, what vehement desire you had and shown at the beginning? How are you now? Despite the warning not to quench the spirit, the prophectic word says that the zeal or first love of many shall decrease more and more.

It is expected of you to love God more and more with all your heart, mind and soul, that as you have began, so you should increase and finish very well. Make yorself valliant for the truth knowing whom you believed. You will overcome sin and false brethren in the church once you realised that not everyone will appreciate your stance against sin and whatever is hateful and abomlinable to God. You should stop glorying about the old days when you first come to Christ. What is now the measure of the fire of the spirit of God, both for service (not slothful in  bussiness, but fervent in the spirit to serve the Lord) and fire for personal consecration and edification, – your first hatred for sin when you come to Christ and  sanctifcation before God in comparison to what you now allow in your life and encourage in others. If the fire dies, sin will creep into you. It is either to keep the fire burning or you allows sin to creep in – only the fire can keep away sin and false brethren from you – And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:11-16.

Many good but undetermined  hearts shall be weakend because of the atrocities of the false brethren in the church. True and sincere commitments to the cause of Jesus Christ such as personal and group evanagelism, house to house and personal and group bible study and prayer meetings, personal night watch prayers and group night prayers etc shall diminshed more and more. Revelation 2:1-5. The love of the truth and to walk in the truth shall diminish more and more. 3 John 3:3-4. False believers shall betray the true one and true love of the brethren shall diminish because people will be discouraged, withdrawn and suspicious whereby making charity of a pure heart shall become rare in the last days. Obedient love to God shall diminsh: but hereby we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and do his commandments. 1 John 5:2.

You should ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established before God, lest you should become harden through the deceitfulness of sin increasing in the world or be carried away by the evil influence of false brethren in the church. Hebrews 3:13.

The ungodly prosper on earth, while those who want to live godly shall suffer persecution. Like Esau, you shouldn’t compromise your eternal inheritance of any earthly morsel of bread – man deos not live by bread alone, but by every word coming out from the mouth of God must he live. Except you have a very strong hatred for the prosperity of the wicked, it is likely that the sin in the world and the evil influence of the false brethren should overtake and defeat you – Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart. But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped. For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm. They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men. Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment. Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish. They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily. They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth. Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them. And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High? Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches. Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency. For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning. If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children. When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image. Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins. So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee. Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand. Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee. But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all thy works. Psalms 73.

The dead are inactive in the world, but the living are, so a false brethren speak and live as the men from the world (They are of the world: therefore speak they as of the world, and the world heareth them. 1 John 4:5), but the true believer is dead to the world, flesh and sin. For you are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God. Colossians 3:3. Those who are indeed crucified and dead with Christ should not be overcome by any false brethren who are alive in the church, neither by the sin in the world. If iniquity increases in the world, those that are Christ are dying daily to the flesh so that sin should not have dominion over them because whoever the Son has set free, should be free indeed. Christ was tempted without sin, we should always go to him for daily grace and strenght over sin. Hebrews 4:16. Pray that you might be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ. Philippians 1:10. Pray against false brethren in your ways and life to overcome them, that people like Samballat (meaning, sin has begotten) and Tobiah (though the meaning of his name was God is good, but his intention was not good to the people of God) should not prosper to stop the works of God in your life. Nehemiah 2:19-20.  Pray that the fear of God should not depart from you, but that you should always honour him to depart from evil – happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth in mind shall fall into evil. Proverbs 28:14. Malachi 1:6.

I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me. Psalms 119:30. This is where your sincerity and personal determination to please God by walking in the light and truth is called into question if you will rebel against the truth because it is departing from church pulpil, – godly men cease; the faithful fail from among the children of men. Psalms 12:1.

You should be able to choose friends from the company of those who are able to influence your faith and Christian walk in a positive way – I am a companion of all them that fear thee,  and of them that keep thy precepts. Psalms 119:63.

The Lord says the wise believers who is building on the solid rock in the kingdom will obey his word, but the foolish believers will not. Birds of the same feathers flocks together: you should prefer and chose to walk with the obedient wise believers in the kingdom who can help you to grow and know the Lord in abetter way, far from false brethren who are not serious with their spiritual life, whose life style is to encourage rebellion against the truth.

If someone is over taken in a fault, such should be restored in the sprit of meekness. Galatians 6:1. This is not what we are talking about here, rather, we refers to people who are deliberating living in a defiant life of ungodliness among us in the church. They defy the word and openly resist the truth, though, they claimed to be born again. It is better to walk alone than to be badly accompanied. Two people cannot walk togetehr, excep they agreed. Is it not the little leaven that leavens the whole lump. 1 Corinthians 5:6.

Sometimes, people change for the worst, not for the better. You must walk daily in the spirit of discernement to avoid the company of sinners in Zion. Did not Enoch walked alone with God and he was not? For God took him away – alone to heaven. By the way, do not forget that your salvation is personal with God. The body of Christ is one but with many members for team work, but the race is unique. Your relationship with God is unique. Your responsible and accountability toward God is unique. Your stewardship is unique, for you serve the Lord Christ. Your accountability and reawrd shall likewise be according as your works shall be. It is only those who are making the difference by running the race in a lawful way which shall be crown and rewarded in heaven – don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win. 1 Corinthians 9:24.

There are two kinds of false brethren: (a) the Lord says, if you continue in my word, you shall be my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:31-32. There are those that are born again, but made themselves false like the two sons of Eli did made themselves false by tbeir insisted sin because they will not abide and continue in the truth. Why do ye not understand my speech? Even because ye cannot hear my word. You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. John 8:43-44: (b) also, there those who are not born again, but are planted and established by Satan in the church as tares among the wheat- the mixed multitudes. Exodus 12:28. Numbers 11:4.

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So, the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? From whence then hath it tears? He said unto them, an enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, (unwanted plants) ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest, I will say to the reapers, gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. Matthew 13: 24-30. 

As we come out of spiritual Egypt (kingdom of darkness) into the wilderness of this world which God has prepared for various spiritual trainings, developments, corrections and experiences to bring us to different stages of spiritual growth unto the fulness of the measure of the stature of Christ, the wilderness events of the Old Testament believers were meant for our learning and wisdom in order to prepare the New Testament church or believers in readiness for eternal Canaan. Note: for here, we have no continue city, but we seek one to come. Unless we see the world through the eyes of faith as a wilderness of passage to our eternal home: its illusional glory and beauty having false shinning power are able to  distract and derail to lure the soul into worldliness and  hell for eternity. Has Christ not gone through and passed the same test? Matthew 4:9.

The mixed multitudes are those that sneaked into the body of Christ or find their ways into the church to mingle deceptively and pretentiously like converted believers to serve God with us, but they are actually in the church with evil intent to corrupt, pervert, pollute and deform the true and un-watchful worshippers. They are not of Zion, the city of the great King, but belongs to Babylon, the children of the god of this world, programmed by Satan to serve as evil influencne to prick like the thorns in the flesh, working against the purposes of God in the lives of his children.  They are in the church to cause division and to disrupt the progressive walk and work of the church with God. Just as Satan was able to persuade Eve to eat the fruit they were not allowed to eat by God, they influence and encourage sin and rebellion against God in the church.

The true and contrite worshipper shows his regret, mourn and beg for pardon for his sins before God. It is not same with a false brethren who sins secretly or openly with the purpose  to challenge the leadership authority of the church which sometimes resulted in dividing the assembly into smaller groups if the sinner is influencial among the brethren where other rebels go with the sinner to start another church. Sin is to them like been sportive, being joyful and unbothred for their iniquity or its effects on others, the unjust knows no shame. Proverbs 10:23. Zephaniah 3:5.

Today, the presence of false brethren in the church represent and indicate the presence and increase of sin in the church, so that in the place of righteousness, iniquity is found.  Iniquity shall increase, not only in the world, but also inside the church, and many shall be mentally and spiritually be wearied out in the land of peace wherein they once trusted, but what shall do in the swelling of Jordan?  Jeremiah 12:5.

Blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me says Christ. Matthew 11:6. If we allows the auguementation of sin in the world or the negative lifetyle of false brethren among us in the church to effect our love and obedient loyalty to the Lord, how can we become an overcomer? How can we come or enter to partake in the frist ressurrection of the blessed ones?

The servant called the attention of the master to the presence of the tares among the wheat, asked if they should they should be removed at once; rather, the master cautioned them to pay no attention to the presence of the tares, and to let both grow together. Why was such response from the master of the vineyard? Should this be to test the sincerity and love of his children to his  word, their obedience and will to his demands? Or, should it be that because God who is not willing that any should perish, he allows them to stay, if by chance they might changed by the seriousness of his own children as lights? 2 Timothy 2:24-26. Note: if we have determined not to go back to the world because we are saved and called out of the world, we should not allowed the people from the world to bring the world back into the church or to falsely influence and impact beliver’s ways of life in the church – And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle. Exodus 12:38.

From the aboved texts, we see and learn few things about false brethren in the church: (a) they are likely to possess monetary and material blessings to display in order to influence the vulnerable and weak believers to their side: (b) they walk by sight, and not by faith. 2 Corinthians 5:7. They don’t know how to lay hold or stand on the promises of God in difficult period of time. They tells you that they cannot lie or speak against what they are feeling, experiencing or going through: (c) they live as if the world is better than the church, and the past is better than present life in Christ. There is no doctrine of godliness with contentment with them, only desire to live as if they are stil in the world – and the mixed multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, who shall give us flesh to eat? We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlic: but now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes. Numbers 11:4-6: (d) they are spiritually contagious and contentious against the truth: ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 2 Timothy 3:7-8: (e) they inflame insubordinate behaviors in others to provoke God by murmuring against him – Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil. Romans 16:17-19: (f) you either make yourself strong in the Lord against their presence in the church or allows their presence to weaken and infleunce you to win you to their side. The mixed multitudes are there  to see, test and challenge your true stand in Christ Jesus. If you bring yourself into conformity with their standards and blend to mingle with them, you will be walking in the ways of sinners in Zion.

We also see that the mixed multitudes – false brethren are good preachers in the wilderness, able to speak convincingly to influence the minds and decisions of their listeners against the word and will of God. They can be found in the church pulpit preaching as apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers or evangelist – for there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Jude 4-7.

We are in the last days when men are departing from the faith by giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrine of the devils. When Christ shall come back, shall he find faith genuine earth? Note: to compromise is to be overcome by external or internal evil infleunces inside the church or from the world: those who will not reason to agree with everything the scripture says and to act and live godly with boldness in this crucial period of increase assaults of sin in the world and church shall be mentally and morally demoralized, spiritually drained and disoriented in the church before the Lord’s return to their detriment.

In this last days, many shall give-up on the truth they once held fast, cherished, believed, defended and practised while many shall be giving false accounts of the truth to gratify their sensual, sinful and carnal lusts and desires. If you are not rooted and grounded in the word of God, you wil be swayed here and there by every winds of doctrine. If you are not standing for the truth on earth, you are nothing, representing and standing for nothing because every other things you seems to be standing upon are shakable and shall be dissolved by fire, only those who are standing firm on the word of God shall abide forever, even as the word of God abides forever. Note: all unrighteousness is sin. Though we sometimes sin by omission (James 4:17) or we sin a sin which does not lead us to eternal death penalty (James 5:19-20), but there is no excuse not to conquer sin in the flesh. Those that are saved are called to mortify the works and lusts of the flesh which war against their souls (1 Peter 2:11): to resist sin in the world  by subduing and overcoming the works of the flesh through the presence of spirit of God, cultivating and harvesting its fruit in their daily life’s experiences. Romans 8:13.

Who among us can say he has resisted sin unto blood? Hebrews 12:4.

If there is none, I will also submit that through the same eternal spirit of God in us, by which Christ offered himself without spot to God for our sins (Hebrews 9:14), – and through daily washing by water by the word though preaching and studying the word, we can equally overcome sin in us to serve the living God in righteousness and in true holiness because there are three that bears witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood. We accept human testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which he has given about his Son. 1 John 5:7-9.

The scripture calls us to love the brotherhood and to strive for the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace (Ephsians. 4:3), but you should likewise be wise, able to discren the kind  of people to associate in the name of Christianity or religion, lest you become a companion of fools which shall altogether be destroyed – Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.  If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: for he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. 2 John 1:9-11. Proverbs 13:20.

The presence of the false brethren in the church is to lead you into bondage because they are in bondage to sin, world and Satan. Galatians 2:4.

God saved us to separate us from the sinners in the world, and not to be unequally yoked together with them. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18. He calls us to disassociate from the unrepentant sinners in the church – I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortionist, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? Do not you judge them that are within? But them that are without God judges. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. 1 Corinthians 5:9-13.

My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; so that thou incline your ear unto wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding; yea, if thou cries after knowledge, and lift up thy voice for understanding; if thou seek her as silver, and search for her as for hid treasures; then shall thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. He keeps the paths of judgment, and preserves the way of his saints. Then shall thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. When wisdom enters into your heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: to deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaks froward things; who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness; who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked; whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths. Proverbs 2:1-15.

God expect you to discern who is who among you in the church by the inner fruit of the spirit manifested from how they are applying scriptures day in day out, and not by any outward beauty or impression able to steals the heart of others away from God. Galatians 2:14.

Find your consistency and stability in life from the word of God – every word of God is pure; he is a shield unto them that trust in him. Proverbs 30:5. The scripture helps us to draw the line and to put a boundary and restraint for moderation on the type of life to live as a child of God, and the kind of people you should allow into your life as friends and companions. David prays, gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with men of blood; in whose hands is wickedness, and their right hand is full of bribes. But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me. Psalms 26:9-12.

Jesus was a friend of sinners (Matthew 11:19) but he also separated himself from sinners. Hebrews 7:26.

How do you reconciled being friends to sinners but disagreeable with his sins? How can we possibly love sinners, but we are not in their company, having nothing in common with them? How can we love sinners without unequally yoked together with the unbelievers? Our love for sinners should come from the love of God in us which is not to compromise to lower the standard of repentance unto salvation required of them or of holiness required of us: otherwise, we shall be judged for inadmissible association and compromises with sinners – And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; to them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. And this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you. 1 Corinthians 9:20-23.

It is not the question of showing holier than anyone attitude. You should love all men according to God’s standard or terms. You should have compassion on others and help those that are weak,but  humility has nothig to do with compromises to save others while we are found as sinners by ignoring the rules and standard of the kingdom.

But he answered and said, it is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4. 2 Corinthians 3:2-3. Note: we have a irresistible, unmatchable – defensive and offensive weapon of  spiritual warfare in the word of God against Satan and against his cohorts: for this weapon to be effective against the forces of darkness, you must obey God, living by what is written in his word by casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing into captivity every thought in you to the obedience of Christ (1 Samuel 3:19. 2 Cor. 10:6), lest the enemy uses what is written against you.

More also, what is written can become your stumbling block of iniquity and occasion of falling away by contemptuous disregard, contentious and disobedient spirit against the truth (Amos 2:4-5. Rom 2:8): unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, and a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. 2 Peter 2:7-8. Note: if we don’t remain true to the truth unto the end, as the truth which is in Christ Jesus, we made ourselves false and are overcome by falsehood.

When I was a child, I was rebellious and very hardened, though born into a Baptist family and my parents were faithfully devoted to God and his word. You can hardly see my late father away from house without his handy bible with him wherever he goes, but I never knew or experienced the power of the written word until I was invited to faith clinic International of Nigeria Ibadan which is the ministry of late Dr. I. K.U Ibeneme in the late 80 s.

In one of those days of the revival by Dr. I.K.U Ibeneme, after the season of praise and worship, brother Ibeneme would come forward and took us through the book St. Mark 16 verses 17-18 and into the book of prophet Isaiah chapter 10 Verses 27. It was my first time to witness the word of God coming alive or better to say like Christ said while he was in the temple ‘this day is the scripture fulfilled in your eyes’. Luke 4:21. The word was quickened – made alive by the power of the Holy Spirit to save, deliver and to set the captive free from demonic bondages and oppressions, God confirming his word with signs and wonders following.

Genuine encounter is very impactful of lasting changes of the present and eternal duration of memory if you follow the Lord wholeheartedly. Ever since then, my life has never been the same as the result of what is written quoted by Dr. I.K.U Ibeneme as I witnessed the Spirit of God quickening the word spoken in my life. Truly, the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. Hebrews 4:12-13.

Like the seven sons of Sceva, false brethren pretend to have authority and relationship with God by using the name of Christ falsely. Sometimes, they deceitfully come under partnership and covering of a renowned servant of God to act in order to cover up their nefarious religious activities.  Acts 19:13-16.

What is written, or whatever shall be spoken from what is written, and whatever should be acted upon according to what is written for supernatural manifestation of God should be established under two or three witnesses from what is forever settled in heaven – the word of God. Do not allow anyone to take you out of the word of God to practice anything in the name of a special spiritual revelation from God.

The false brethren will lay claims on hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit, always good at saying, the spirit of the Lord says this and that to me, but when you look deep into their lives, you can’t see the new creature, no practical Christianity or Christ crucified in them. Their constant thus says the Lord, is to manipulate and derail you from what is written in the word of God, hearing misleading and false voices – don’t listen to them, otherwise, another spirit will take over your life to direct it – There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification. 1 Corinthians 14:10.

We must give ourselves to the word of God, the more we look into it, and the more we are changed by it, if we take to heart what is written. A false brother has the letter, but not the Spirit of the word. The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life (2 Corinthians 3:6): except by regeneration and practical Christianity, the word of God cannot produce any good fruit unto eternal life in anyone. 1 Thessalonians. 2:13.

False brethren will give you false accounts and interpretations of the word of God. Though the scripture was compiled together through different scribes, prophets and holy men of old; nonetheless, it was from the same God who at different seasons and times through the Holy Spirit produced the word– knowing this first that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. 1 Peter 1:20-21.

What is written and given as scripture (John 5:39-40) is the authority and revelation of divine will unto man, given as the manner and rules (moral and spiritual principles) of God’s constitution and governmental requirements for the dwellers – man on the earth. Note: they walk in the path of eternal life which is the straight gate and narrow way  everyone that live by every word of God: though the prince of this world will come up against them, he will never found anything in them who have refrained their feet from evil way that they might keep his word. Psalms 119:101.

Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord, and though iniquity shall abound, and the love of many shall wax cold in the last days: it shall be said of them, that they also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. Psalms 119: 1-3. These are they which cry day and night before God in prayer, saying, concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer. Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not. Psalms 17:4-5.

They walk surely, they cleanse their ways, whosoever that is taking heed to the word of God, sin shall not have dominion over them, but they will overcome it. Psalms 119:9. He that walks uprightly walks surely: but he that perverts his ways shall be known. Proverbs10:9. Contemptuous for the word of God is the sole reason iniquity shall increase in the world and church: this is where each and everyone define the true nature of his relationship with God; weather righteous or sinner, false or true brethren, born-again or unregenerate soul, everyone record is on high. Job 16:19.

Be true to the word of God and God will be your Father – He is God of truth without iniquity. You cannot be among the false brethren then have your name written in the book of life, but the Lord will say, get away from me, I don’t know you, you workers of iniquity.

There are two major register and reckoning books in heaven God has set aside for all the dwellers or inhabitants on earth (a) the first reckoning is at the judgment seat of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10) which God has prepared for rewards and celebrations of those who have overcome the deceitfulness of sin in the world, and have come out of many tribulations, fight in the righteousness of Christ to keep their garments white in the blood of the Lamb. They have their names written and maintain in the book of life which is the written register of the righteous, holy, fruitful and faithful believers to the end; Revelation 3:5: (b) the other judgment is at the great white throne of God where no one appearing before God will be vindicated, but shall be judged and condemned as their evil works shall be: For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. 1 Peter 4:6. It is the book of death where the unfaithful, unholy, unjust, backsliders and the unrepentant have their names written – let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous (Psalms 69:28): and I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead who were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:11-15. Note: though, there are two separate thrones of judgment seat in heaven, there are also two kinds of judgments awaiting two different kinds of people at death while those judgments are not for the same purposes nor are they set for the same period of time.

Wherefore, be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. Ephesians 5:17. What is the will of God? The will of God is you living in holiness. The will of God is for you to overcome sin, now, putting your body under subjection, that after you have preached, prayed evangelized, give a lots of money and other goods, you should not be a cast away. The will of God is in everything written that we might live according to whatever is written in the word of God: wherefore when he – Christ comes into the world, he says, sacrifice and offering thou have no interest, but a body hast thou prepared me: in burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. Hebrews 10: 5-7.

What is written is the word which by the gospel is preached unto us (1 Peter 1:25) by which the entire life and works of Christ are in compliance on earth according to what is written (Matthew 26:24): whosoever that says he abides in Christ must also walk (according to what is written) even as he has walked. 1 John 2:6. He or she should live by what is written, – speak what is written, – get his answers from any of the questions of life from what is written, – react and handle any situation or challenge of life before him according to what is written: to live and to defend what is written as the true living epistle of Christ, read and known by all men. This is how you know the false brethren from the true brethren in the Lord – hear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the Lord be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed. Isaiah 66:5.

What is written is unalterable – his commandment is life everlasting. Note: those who alter the word of God for whatever reason are rebellious against eternal truth and light: they changed the true God for another which is Satan the liar and father of all liars; unto them the Lord declares, he that rejects me, and receives not my words, hath one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. John 12:48.

The testimony of our professed subjection to the gospel of Christ should be to walk in the light of what is written, lest we be seen as those who are holding the truth in unrighteousness to become as false brethren in the Lord. There is no power and authority with God if we do not live by the authority of his word, and there is no recognition or approval by God, if we do not honor the authority of his word. There is no better sword of the spirit than what is written to fight back against the enemy; neither is there any shield as strong as the shield of faith to quench the fiery darts of the wicked One except by speaking or confessing those things that are written, upon which the strong and mighty angels of God are waiting upon to execute for your advantage. Those who are living by what is written and for what is written are defending the truth. They have their habitation and defense on top of the Rock that is higher than them: though Satan tempts them, what is written shall deliver them to overcome the snare of the tempter. The key to disable the enemy’s temptation is found in the written word of God such as Christ found the answers to the three temptations presented before him by Satan from what is written to defeat the enemy.

My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. James 3:1-2.

How can the word of your mouth be acceptable unto God if it is not coming out from the knowledge of what is written – to frame your words according to the word of God? Psalms 19:14.

From the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks, but how can you speak right if the word of Christ is not dwelling richly in you in all wisdom?

You cannot offend in word or misspeak from your tongue if you only will speak from what is written from the word of God.

The tongue of the wise makes knowledge pleasant, but the mouth of foolish men pours out folly. Proverbs 15:2.

If your deed action and reaction to situation is guided by what is written, you will not misbehave or make any false move to fall into any trap set by man or Satan, such that David behaved himself wisely before king Saul, and the Lord was with him, and he found favor before all Israel. 1 Samuel 18:14.

Rhema (the spoken word of God) will never contradict logos -the written word of God.            Be careful of dreams, voices, prophecy and revelations which contradict the written word, lest you go astray from the path of sin unto iniquity. Stay in the word to prove the authenticity of prophecy, dreams, voices and revelations by the written word of God. Whatever God is saying by the spirit of revelation or prophecy is according to what is written in your handy bible. Take heed to the voice of God, and be not wary of his word because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, altars shall be unto him to sin. I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing. Hosea 8:12.

If you stay and continue in the word of God, the devil cannot touch you; his word shall be your shield and buckler. The love of many wax cold in the last days got to do with the state of their hearts. If you with a single and honest heart serve the Lord, your love for Christ shall be stronger and steady until the end.

If you do not practice sin but approves it in the name of peace and love, you are a sinner, and you are a partaker of their evil deeds. 2 John 1:11.

How can you be guiltless of the sin in the world if you are men’s pleaser who nods his head in acceptance for their abominable practices and lifestyles before the Lord? The disgustful and loathsome things before God formerly are the cravings and likings of our flesh before he circumcised us by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost, then we found to be distasteful what is loathsome to our Savior. How possibly can anyone genuinely lay claim on the promise of eternal inheritance if they are not disgusted by that which is an enmity against God, but are identified in it? Come out from Babylon, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities? Revelation 18:4-5.

If you seek to find your rest, satisfaction and joy from the things that makes the sinners in the world feels fulfilled, then, you’ve been deceived and overcome by the deceitfulness sin.

You are never on the Lord’s side, if the disgusting and abominable things in the church or in the world are not disgustful and abominable to you: they are able to cold your love and heart in the Lord, if your righteous soul is not vexed by them for the Lord’s sake.

It should not be counted as a strange thing if the unbelievers are cancelling out the Christians in the world because the bible says so that believers shall be hated by the world, and be cast out of their synagogues because of Christ. John 15:18. It is worst when believers are cancelling out one another because one part has chosen to live uncompromising life by all the scriptures given by the inspiration of God, while the other part seeks for acceptance and praise from the people of the world. God is no respecter of person and our faith in Christ should be without respect of person, doing nothing by partiality against the word of God: but the Lord will hold it against such Chameleons believers at his coming for despising his word to honor sinners in the world: hear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, let the Lord be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed. Isaiah 66:5.

It is our obligation and loyalty to find pleasure, strictly and uniquely in the things that are pleasurable to Christ, and to show dislikes to the things that are loathsome and outrageous before him. If we do not gather with Christ in those things that are pleasurable unto him, we shall be scattered abroad, not only now, but throughout all eternity be separated from him because we falsely approve and collaborate by indirectly encouraging those things hateful to him because we will not stand up and speak out against it.

David was indeed a man after the heart of God – the son of Jesse, who will, according to God, fulfills all my pleasure. Acts.13:22.

This was God’s testimony that David’s pleasure and disgust will be found in the things pleasurable or disgustful to him. David was found to be loyal to God in all things that are pleasurable or disgustful to God, except in the matter of Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah the Hittite and you know how he paid and suffered for his sins. 1 Kings 15:5.

All those who are walking in the way of everlasting life which is the straight gate and the narrow way will find pleasure and disgust in the things pleasurable or disgustful to God. Thus, David prayed to God that his heart or thoughts, lifestyles, opinions, action, reactions and responses should find their responses, satisfactions or dissatisfaction, acceptance or rejection from the things that are pleasing or distasteful to Jehovah – Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalms 130:23-24.

As a true believer is an abominable thing before the sinner in the world: an hypocrite believer will never found anything abominable in the life of a sinner – an unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked. Proverbs 29:27.

If you are not of the world, why are you speaking and acting like them? They are of the world: therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God: he that knows God hears us; he that is not of God hears not us. Hereby we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. 1 John 4:5-6.

Why should their behaviors and ways of life hateful to the Lord not found to be disgusted and toxic by you? Can two walk together except they agreed?

Are Christians not building altars to sin when the abominable things plainly written in the word of God are not detestable and disgustful to them? Woe unto them that call evil good, bitter sweet, darkness light. Isaiah 5:20.

To admit or practice against what is written in the word before the world, is to corrupt the incorruptible word by which we are saved: it is to lead others a strayed, whose responsibility rest upon our shoulders, but their lost blood and souls shall be required of us by God. Acts 20:26.

You should love sinners and the ungodly, but wary of them as you follow after righteousness, peace and charity with them that calls on the Lord out of a pure heart. 2 Timothy 2:22.

Don’t try or seek to be a friend to everyone in the church, you should first have a bite to taste from the fruit and ways of people’s life before you chose friends in the church. Allows the Lord to chose and led you – I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O Lord, will I sing. I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. A forward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person. Whoso privily slanders his neighbor, him will I cut off: him that hath a high look and a proud heart will not I suffer. Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land that they may dwell with me: he that walks in a perfect way, he shall serve me. He that works deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that tells lies shall not tarry in my sight. I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD. Psalms 101.

Judgment must start from the house of God, so do not think or assumes that God is well pleased with everyone in the church or he accepts everything that is going on in his house of prayer. Few shall be saved according to the scriptures. Is there not iniquity in the place of righteousness, and wickedness in the place of justice? Ecclesiastes 3:16.

The Lord is well pleased and delightful when we test or prove the genuineness of any professor of faith if they are true or false.

Like Eli, you will be judged and condemned by the Lord for what is pleasing to him and you are not speaking in favor of it or disgusted by him, but you hold your peace, and will not speak up against it. Those preachers like Balaam, shall be slain and destroyed by the sword of eternal vengeance: while those believers, like the daughters of Moab, shall utterly be destroyed altogether for seducing others with strange clothing: and it shall come to pass in the day of the Lord’s sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king’s children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel. Zephaniah 1:8.

Lot speaks out and was disgusted of the gayism and lesbianism lifestyle of the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah. He vexed his righteous soul from day to day to express his dissatisfactions to their abominable deeds (2 Peter 2:8), willing to do anything to help them stop such abominable lifestyle before God. Genesis 19:7.

Lot will not allowed the gays into his home to molest the male strangers sojourning under his roof, willing to sacrifice his two daughters to get them straight. Gays who are not ready to repent and change their sexual lifestyle should feel unwelcome and be made uncomfortable to stay for a long period of time in the church; but today, some of them are becoming pastors and elders in certain religious gathering. What an appearance of evil in the church today?

What are you willing to sacrifice to get the gays and lesbians in your community straight, apart from the false gospel of inclusivity, a false gospel of Christ without the offense of the cross preached today? Who is willing and ready to go to prison by speaking against gays, or have his church closed and his preaching license revoked for being called Homophobia or sexism, standing for the truth of the gospel? In fact, this is the surest way to fulfill your ministry in any city or country, but how many are willing to go down this hard path?

Everyone proud in heart is abomination unto the Lord. Proverbs 16:5. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Romans 12:16. Blessed is that man that makes the Lord his trust, and respects not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Psalms 40:4. These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, an heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brethren. Proverbs 6:16-19.

It is not the matter of the love of God, but of divine principles, men and women, lifestyles and practices hateful to the Lord in the world or church should be hateful to you. You should warn and encourage people to change, but if they don’t want to change, you should be done with them. If you tolerate or keep a person of an abominable lifestyle and character in your life, you will also be defiled and leavened by such according to the scriptures – neither shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shall utterly detest it. Deuteronomy 7:26. And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you (then, should you be found with them whom the Lord cast out before you?): for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them. Leviticus 20:23.

Remember that the abominable and whosoever works abomination shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. Revelation 21: 8, 27. The disgustful things and abominations in the world are so many in their higher and ethical spiritual meaning; they should not be found in our lives if we are to make heaven as we sacrifice their loathsome and abominable lifestyles-even the corruptible lifestyles which we once received from our ancestors and parents to the Lord…If a man also lie with mankind, as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (Leviticus 20:13.1 Corinthians 6:9)…The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shall not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the Lord thy God. Neither shall thou bring an abomination into your house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shall utterly detest it, and thou shall utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing. (Deuteronomy 7:25-26)……There shall not be found among you any one that make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that uses divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shall be prefect with the Lord thy God. (Deuteronomy 18: 10-13)…. The woman shall not wear that which pertained unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God. (Deuteronomy 22:5)…. Thou shall not bring the hire of a whore (prostitution gain or money) or the price of a dog, into the house of the Lord thy God for any vow: for even both these are abominations unto the Lord thy God. (Deuteronomy 23:18)….Thou shall not have in your house divers measures, a great and a small. But thou shall have perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shall thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the Lord thy God gives thee. For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteous, are an abomination unto the Lord thy God. (Deuteronomy 25: 13-16)….He that kills an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrifices a lamb, as ifhe cut off a dog’s neck; he that offers an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burns incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations. Isaiah 66:3.
