Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way. Psalms 119:128.
The sensual and sinful earthly pleasure of the fallen man cannot be contained because he was conceived and born in sin, destined to drink iniquity like water against the holy and celestial pleasure of his God. Job 15:16.
The disgustful and loathsome things before his God are the cravings and likings of his flesh until his circumcision by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost before he can gradually love what is pleasurable to God, and found to be distasteful what is loathsome to his creator. Note: the art of mastering the flesh to the advantage of the indwelling Spirit to gain full access and control over us is to keep walking consistently in the Spirit (this I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16), and to be ready to die daily to the flesh and its works; otherwise, we will never be able to crucify the flesh with its lusts and affections in Christ Jesus. Galatians 5:24.
Apostle Paul pray that the believers should be rooted and grounded in the love of God (Ephesians 3:17), but the depth of the root of his love in his walk and relationship with God is determined by the growth of his obedient life to the will, word and purposes of God, without which the pleasure of his heavenly Father shall continue to be a strange demand, weak, reluctant and unable to see from God’s point of view. This is the nature of the affections of the man whose soul is not redeemed by the Lamb of God: it is also the lifestyle of a worldly and carnally minded believer who will not sanctify the Lord in his heart and walk, both of which are destined to eternal death. 1Timothy 5:6. Note: remember how God promised prophet Eli of priesthood of eternal generation of service and the reason he changed his mind against him and his children at Shiloh concerning the same promise because they will not abide in his love, to do his will and purposes. The true concept of everlasting love is not to keep living outside the will, pleasure, word and purposes of God, and to hope for better things to come from him to us; never, God’s love never rejoices in iniquity – he is God of truth without iniquity. Rather, it is to continue in the obedient love to the word of God designed to keep us or make us abide in the love of Christ while God continues his works in us. Jude 1:21.
Though it takes time for the root to be deeply grounded on the soil, just the matter of time and years, the tree will grow with good fruit to show forth it’s kind of fruit as long as it abides in the soil. Thus, we see that there is man’s part to play and divine part to fulfil: namely, the willingness of man to continue obeying the written word for God to continue working in him, both to will and do according to his good pleasure in such a vessel. Philippians 2:12.
When the Son of man come back, shall he found faith on earth? This does not indicate faith in God, for demons also believe. Here it speaks of faithfulness to the word of God, faithful men who will say it as it is written and shall be able to commit the same unto the fearless with intergrity of heart as fellow helpers to the truth – Ephraim compasses me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet rules with God on earth, and is faithful with the saints. Hosea 11:12. Note: those who rules faithfully with God on earth, shall reigns with Christ in heaven; been found faithful to defend the integrity of the unchanging word to the end (Revelation 2:10): these shall be with the Lamb forever: they are called, and chosen, and faithful. Revelation 17:14.
We know that the love of God does not reason with the love of the world, not with her friendship which is an enmity against God. James 4:4. But, how do we genuinely lay claim on eternal inheritance, if we are not disgusted by that which is an enmity against God, but engulf by them, when the bible says we should come out from Babylon, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities? Revelation 18:4-5.
Who is on the Lord’s side? This comes down to believer’s lifestyle, behaviours, response, actions and reactions before God in the world and before his brethren in the Lord. Except we seek only for the praise and approval coming from God – to find our joy, gratification, contentment, fulfilment, happiness and delight in the things that are approved from his word, not adding or removing from it, and to publicklly take our stand against any of those things unscriptural in the church and in the world, we are like a servant serving two master, hypocritically defending one, and hypocritically proclaiming the other, by not speaking and doing as those that shall be judged by the law of liberty. James 2:12.
We are never on the Lord’s side, if what is disgusting or abominable before him in the church or in the world is not disgustful and abominable to us, but we tolerate and encourage them, either in our own life or others for whatever reason. Such action is to twist the scripture to personal destruction as the bible says. How can we say we are on the Lord’s side if we cannot stand up to speak against what is not acceptable to the Lord in the church or in the world? How can you be on the Lord’s side, if what he disallows, you permit in the church to get along well with the world?
It is enough if the unbelievers are cancelling out the Christians in the world because the bible says so, that they shall be hated by the world and be cast out of their synagogues because of Christ (John 15:18): but it is worst, when believers are cancelling out one another because one part want to live by all the words of the scriptures given by the inspiration of God while the other part want to be acceptable and praise by the people of the world for being kind, understanding, indiscriminate and all embracing: It shall not augur well for such Chameleons brethren in the Lord when he shall come back for their indecisive stand in the world before him in the things pertaining to practising increasing godliness which is profitable unto all things (1 Timothy 4:8. 2 Peter 1:6): hear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, let the Lord be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed. Isaiah 66:5.
It is obligation and our loyalty to find pleasure, strictly and uniquely in the things that are pleasurable to Christ, and to show dislikes to the things that are loathsome and outrageous before him. If we do not gather with Christ in those things that are pleasurable unto him, we shall be scattered abroad, not only now, but in eternity, to be separated from him because we falsely approve to associate and collaborate by encouraging or participating in those things hateful to him.
Today, we are living in an environment and culture where men and women are cancelled out for standing up against erroneous and sinful popular beliefs and practices. On earth, there is nothing new, for Christ our Lord Jesus was cancelled out – eliminated, not accepted to live by the mob for speaking the truth, but demanded Pilate to release Barnabas and have the Son of God killed.
David was indeed a man after the heart of God – the son of Jesse, who will, according to God, fulfil all my pleasure. Acts.13:22. This was God’s testimony that David’s pleasure and disgust will be found in the things pleasurable or disgustful to him. David was found to be loyal to God in all things that are pleasurable or disgustful to him, except in the matter of Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah the Hittite and you know how he paid and suffered for his sins. 1 Kings 15:5.
We are not walking in the way of everlasting life if we do not find pleasure and disgust in the things pleasurable or disgustful to God: thus, David was moved to pray and ask God that his heart or thoughts, lifestyle, opinions, action, reaction and response should find their satisfaction or dissatisfaction, acceptance or rejection in the things that are pleasing or distasteful to him – Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalms 130:23-24.
A true believer is an abominable thing before the sinner in the world: therefore, it is a double loss for anyone in the Lord not to submit himself to the things that are pleasurable and disgustful to the Lord, to love or to hate – an unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked. Proverbs 29:27.
If you are not of the world, why are you speaking and acting like them? They are of the world: therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God: he that knows God hears us; he that is not of God hears not us. Hereby we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. 1 John 4:5-6.
Why should their behaviors and ways of life hateful to the Lord, not found to be disgusted and resisted by you: instead, you accept them that you might appears nice to them, and to evolve with the world? Can two walk together except they agreed? Is this your loyalty to the Lord who came outside of the city gate that he might sanctify you? Where is the reproach of your Lord you are commanded to bear with him by coming out of the world? Hebrews 13:14.
Are Christians not building altars to sin when the abominable things plainly written in the word of God are not detestable and disgustful to them? Woe unto them that call evil good, bitter sweet, darkness light. Isaiah 5:20. To admit or practice against what is written in the word before the world, is to corrupt the incorruptible word by which we are saved: it is to lead others a strayed, whose responsibility rest upon our shoulders, but their lost blood and souls shall be required of us by God. Acts 20:26.
This act of denying the truth is the act of betraying Christ which is the embodiment of truth: it is the defilement of the soul against the truth that sanctifies it – defilement of the soul against eternal life – Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, altars shall be unto him to sin. I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing. Hosea 8:11-12.
You should love sinners and the ungodly by seeking for their salvation through wise and careful association for the word of God (1 Corinthians 9:22) as you follow after righteousness, peace and charity with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22): meaning, you cannot be a friend to everyone in the church, you should first have a bite to taste from their fruit and ways of life – I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O Lord, will I sing. I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. A forward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person. Whoso privily slanders his neighbor, him will I cut off: him that hath a high look and a proud heart will not I suffer. Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land that they may dwell with me: he that walks in a perfect way, he shall serve me. He that works deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that tells lies shall not tarry in my sight. I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD. Psalms 101.
Do not think or say that God is well pleased with everyone in the church or he accepts everything that is going on in his house of prayer. Few shall be saved according to the scriptures. Is there not iniquity in the place of righteousness, and wickedness in the place of justice? Ecclesiastes 3:16. The prophets of Israel prophesy by Baal and divination like the Egyptians sorceries: even at Shiloh, the children of Eli do the unthinkable; slept with the female worshippers to defile them – none is saved except they call upon God to serve him in spirit and truth; this is the reason divine judgment will start from the church, he will judge the righteous and as well as the wicked. Ecclesiastes 3:17.
The Lord is well pleased and delightful about us when we test or prove the genuine or in genuine of any professor of faith, when found to be false, put them in their place. He is also happy when we refused what is clearly forbidden in his word, not considering any false spiritual claim or revelation about it, or how the modern world feels or says about it. Galatians 2:4.
If genuine repentance is not sought after to produce fruits worthy of repentance, whatever is displeasing to the Lord shall stand against the salvation and rejection of any soul. For example, the Lord expresses pleasure and displeasure against certain churches on certain issues from the book of revelation such as (a) the false inclusion and admission of any woman to preach and exercise ministerial authority over men in the church. 1 Corinthians 14:34-35.‘1 Timothy 2:12.
The faithful believers will resist and disallows such acts to do what is pleasing and acceptable to the Lord in the church by resisting or not allowing any woman to preach or to exercise authority over men as it is written in the word: Revelation 2:20: (b) he expresses dissatisfaction on the state of declining commitment of certain brethren on their first love to call the faithful brethren’s attention and carefulness not to decline from their first love and commitments before the Lord. Revelation 2:4: (c) he shows his displeasure against the doctrine of Balaam, the doctrine of financial advantage and gain to keep silent on the appearances of the attire of harlot in the church for seduction to prevail and sexual immorality to continue, which certain preachers condoles, and they keep silence against the seductive wears and appearances of ungodly worshippers prevailing in certain places of worship, and they become an occasion for others to fall or sin. Revelation 2:14-15.
Like Eli, you will be judged and condemned by the Lord for what is pleasing to him and you are not speaking in favour of it or disgusted by him, but you hold your peace, and will not speak up against it. Those preachers, like Balaam, shall be slain and destroyed by the sword of eternal vegeance, while those believers, like the daughters of Moab, shall utterly be destroyed likewise: and it shall come to pass in the day of the Lord’s sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king’s children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel. Zephaniah 1:8.
Lot speak out and was disgusted of the gayism and lesbianism lifestyle of the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah; he vexed his righteous soul from day to day to express his dissatisfactions to their abominable deeds (2 Peter 2:8): he will do anything to help them stop such abominable lifestyle before God. Genesis 19:7.
Lot will not allowed the gays into his home to molest the strangers sojourning under his roof, willing to sacrifice his two daughters to get them straight. Gays who are not ready to repent and change their sexual lifestyle should feel unwelcome and be made un comfortable to stay for a long period of time in the church where some of them are becoming pastors and elders today. Unrepenttant sinners such the abusers of themselves with mankind should not be able to stand in the congregation of the righteous. Psalms 1:5.
What are you willing to sacrifice to get the gays and lesbians in your community straight, apart from the false gospel of inclusivity, a false gospel of Christ without the offense of the cross preached today? Who is willing and ready to go to prison by speaking against gays, or have his church closed and his preaching license revoked for being called Homophobia or sexism, standing for the truth of the gospel? In fact, this is the surest way to fulfill your ministry in any city or country, but how many are willing to go down this hard path?
Everyone proud in heart is abomination unto the Lord. Proverbs 16:5. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Romans 12:16. Blessed is that man that makes the Lord his trust, and respects not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Psalms 40:4. These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, an heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brethren. Proverbs 6:16-19.
It is not the matter of the love of God, but of divine principles, men and women, lifestyles and practices hateful to the Lord in the world or church should be hateful to you. You should warn and encourage people to change, but if they don’t want to change, you should be done with them. If you tolerate or keep a person of an abominable lifestyle and character in your life, you will also be defiled and leavened by such according to the scriptures – neither shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shall utterly detest it. Deuteronomy 7:26. And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you (then, should you be found with them whom the Lord cast out before you?): for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them. Leviticus 20:23.
Remember that the abominable and whosoever works abomination shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. Revelation 21: 8, 27. The disgustul things and abominations in the world are so many in their higher and ethical spiritual meaning; they should not be found in our lives if we are to make heaven as we sacrifice their loathsome and abominable lifestyles-even the corruptible lifestyles which we once received from our ancestors and parents to the Lord…If a man also lie with mankind, as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall beupon them. (Leviticus 20:13.1 Corinthians 6:9)…The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shall not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the Lord thy God. Neither shall thou bring an abomination into your house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: butthou shall utterly detest it, and thou shall utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing. (Deuteronomy 7:25-26)……There shall not be found among you any one that make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that uses divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shall be prefect with the Lord thy God. (Deuteronomy 18: 10-13)…. The woman shall not wear that which pertained unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God. (Deuteronomy 22:5)…. Thou shall not bring the hire of a whore (prostitution gain or money) or the price of a dog, into the house of the Lord thy God for any vow: for even both these are abominations unto the Lord thy God. (Deuteronomy 23:18)….Thou shall not have in your house divers measures, a great and a small. But thou shall have perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shall thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the Lord thy God gives thee. For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteous, are an abomination unto the Lord thy God. (Deuteronomy 25: 13-16)….He that kills an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrifices a lamb, as ifhe cut off a dog’s neck; he that offers an oblation, as if he offeredswine’s blood; he that burns incense, as ifhe blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations. Isaiah 66:3.
