Supernatural and morality – believer’s indispensability of the gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Galatians 5:25.

Such that the divinity of God reveal his Omnipotence and morality – the thrice holy God, so his divine power and nature are inseparable in the life of his redeemed children purchased by the blood of the Lamb. You can call it two in one or one in one – whatever, those who manifests divine power must also walk or manifest divine nature.

The life and walk in the spirit is a supernatural- transformed, full of wonders of a life saved from sin, but is now called a child of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Psalms 71:7. Spiritual gifts and fruit are the good gifts, coming down from the Father of light, in whom there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. The gifts and fruits of the spirit shows the goodness and operations of God in a once weak and corrupt life, but is now living to manifest divine power (through the gifts of the spirit of God – the word of wisdom; the word of knowledge; faith; gifts of healing; working of miracles; prophecy; discerning of spirits; divers kinds of tongues; interpretation of tongues) and the nature of God through the fruit of the same spirit –  but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. 1 Corinthians 12:8-10. Galatians 5:22-23.

To live or manifest the divine power without manifesting divine nature means that the vessel (believer) has not yet escaped from the corruption that is in the world through lusts. What eternal loss shall it be for such, though spiritual gifts are manifested, but the fruit from the same spirit given to portray the beauty of God’s holy character in the risen Christ is absent, because such ignored and failed in their duty to bring the body under subjection through the same spirit which is at work in them? 1 Corinthians 9:27.

How do we bind the strongman to spoil his goods and divide his house without the operation of divine power in us through the gifts of the Spirit of God?  It is written, and the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors (Isaiah 14:2): but, how possibly could this be fulfilled without the spirit of might operating his gifts in the life of a believer?

Without the manifestation of the gift(s) of the spirit, the believer becomes like a gun without cartridge – a soldier at war without the war telescope – a laborer without complete tools – a watcher without a control tower to stand upon and see afar off. Likewise is the absence of the fruit of spirit, not -considering the gifts in any man, if absent, such is identified and condemned with Satan as an evil fruit from a bad tree – a worker of iniquity. Matthew 7:22-23.

To walk daily in the fruit of the spirit is to crucify the flesh with affections and lusts. Galatians 5:24. Those who are living daily to cultivate the fruit of the spirit are walking in the righteousness imputed unto them by Christ, against such there is no law. As long as a believer is walking in the fruit of the spirit, he is practicing righteousness, even as God is righteous. It is not possible to walk continually in the fruit of the spirit and sin against God, for such are walking in the law of the spirit of life which has set them free from the law of sin and death. This is what makes the difference between the righteousness which is by faith in Christ Jesus and the unregenerate man who is naturally, not by new creature made good, humble, temperance, meek, gentle, longsuffering, kind, peaceful, joyful, etc.

If we are living daily above the present lusts of the eyes, lusts of the flesh and ungodly affections of the pride of life by his indwelling divine power which has given unto us all things pertaining to life and godliness, how shall we not be bold to assure our hearts before him at his coming? How can we not be sure that to die is gain, willling to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord? Are we not as he was in the world, and shall we not see him as he is, and be like him because we are filled of his fruit of righteousness to the praise and glory of God? Philippians 1:11.

If you are born again, you are gifted with spiritual gifts, ye should stir up the gift(s) received, either at the baptism of the holy spirit or by the laying on of the hands of the elders, do not shy away from the gifts of the spirit, that will amount to an unprofitable servant, the the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. 1 Corinthians 4:20.

It is an error to trade the friut of the spirit for the gifts. Administering the gifts should not be at the expense or negligence of diligent mortification of the works of the flesh done by yielding continually to the power of the same spirit of God in us, otherwise, we will be presenting a false, corruptible and offensive Christ to the world, but Christ is not a minister of sin. Galatians 2:17.

If we don’t manifest the fruit of the spirit in every situation and circumstance of our walk in Christ, then we are walking in the flesh, we are living in sin, because we have failed to walk in the newness of life which is by the fruit of the spirit of God. Note: was our Lord Jesus not declared as the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead? It is imperative that those who are manifesting divine power should also be manifesting divine nature, showing the power and holiness of God. Romans 1:4.

Not all supernatural manifestations are divine. Some are diabolical in origin, describe by the bible as the power of Satan which is working miracles. 2 Thessalonians 2:9.

Today, there are magicians and sorceries operating false and lying miracles under the guise of the name of Jesus in their so called churches (but what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. 2 Corinthians 11: 12-15), but their presence and deceitful works, though they create offense(s), should not be allowed to cause us to be led a strayed as elect of God or create any disbelief against the preeminence power of the resurrected Christ in the church, for even in the days of Christ on earth, the children of the hypocrite and wicked Pharisees cast out devils by the power of Beelzebub, the prince of demons. Matthew 12:27.

The devil did not understand any other language apart from the manifestations of power in the life of a believer through the gifts of the Holy Spirit received through the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Acts 20:1-7. Today and forever, until Christ will return for his bride, God will continue to work signs, wonders and miracles among his saints by the gifts of his holy spirit: where the word of a King is, there is power. What an error of an unpardonable sin through the ignorance of the scriptures and the power of God (Matthew 22:29), if we are to condemn, generalize or assume that all supernatural manifestations are diabolical? Is this not to nullify the effect of the cross where Christ spoiled and shamed the powers and principalities, triumphed over them in it, and has given power and authority unto his church over them?

Why certain gift(s) and not the nine gifts of the spirit given to a believer to manifest, but all the nine fruit of the spirit is expected to be seen and cultivated in each of them? Those who are walking in the spirit by manifesting the fruit of the spirit are manifesting the life of godliness, whereas those who are not are denying the power thereof. God values godliness and its character above any gift of the spirit we may possess to manifest (1 Timothy 4:8), but the advantage of the latter in our earthly walk helps us to have upper hand against the craftiness and the assaults of the enemy in our present earthly spiritual battles, while the fruit of the spirit prepares and qualifies us for the eternal abode of God Almighty.

Is there anyone in Christ, but their character or behavior is not gradually changing and getting brighter in conformity to the death of Christ, it could be said (a) they are dogs who have returned to their vomits: (b) or that such has received another gospel, another spirit, and another Christ, and they are in the category of false brethren (2 Corinthians 11:4), for if anyone be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away, behold, all things are new. 2 Corinthians 5:17.

The glory of the gospel of Christ is in its power and beauty of the newness of life: the former in an earthen vessel where the power of God is deposited (2 Corinthians 4:7), the latter in a once spiritually dead man, but is now alive in Christ – for in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. Galatians 6:14.

The Sadducees, not only witnessed the power of God’s healing through the gift of the spirit in the lives of the apostles Peter and John, but they also noticed the character or nature of Christ in them – they had been with Christ. Acts 4:13. Where ever you see a genuine gift of the spirit of God in manifestation, you should expect to see the true nature or likenesses of Christ character in display, by their fruit, not their gifts, you shall know them. None can separate the gifts of the spirit from his nature or character in the life of a believer.

The miracle of conversion wrought in a believer’s life was through the power of an endless life, not only for a changed life, but also for the demonstrations of the spirit and power, lest his testimony about Christ, his word and preaching in the world, should only be based on the words and wisdom of man (1 Corinthians 2:5), but on the power of God through the manifestation of the gift(s) of the spirit of God.

The life and walk in the spirit is like a two sided coin. The first side of the coin shows the manifestations of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, while the second part of it shows the fruit of the spirit. 1 Peter 4:6. How can you say you are living in the spirit when the manifestation of the spirit gift(s) could not be seen in you? Has the Lord not promised that greater works more than he did shall we do? Without the gifts operating in you, how can this scripture be fulfilled in you? Believers should walk in the power of the Spirit (divine power) through the gifts of the Spirit, and to live out the life of Christ (divine nature) through the fruit of the same spirit of God that works mightily in them.  Note: those who are manifesting divine power without cultivating and growing in the divine nature are crucifying Christ the second time, bringing him to an open shame – building again what has once been destroyed – the old man, the body of sin.

It is not only for the unsaved to profit from whatever spiritual gift in us, but God uses three of the vocal gifts and three of the revelation gifts of the spirit to communicate to us, while the other three gifts helps us as well as the others in the church or world – the unsaved. There is a different between the five-fold ministerial gifts to the administrative gifts or spiritual gifts, lest we mixed them together.

God has called us into power and character (to manifest both), even as Christ came down from heaven to show us the Father’s power and nature. As you cannot separate the Father from the Son, so you cannot separate the gifts of the spirit from the fruit of the spiirt, they are one, for the Lord is that Spirit. You can’t chose between having the fruit of the spirit without the manifestation(s) the gift(s) of the spirit because the manifestations of the spirit is given to everyone to profit withal. The fruit of the spirit is the new character expected to be seen in us, if we are real, if indeed, it is the spirit of God which is at work in us or another spirit. You can see the visions of the true men of God, declaring things that are right, without the fruit of the spirit, showing the seductive, deceitful and rebellious nature of Satan and the spirit of the mamonn of the unrighteous, because the spirit at work in you is not of God, but of a serpent – viper spirit. Acts 16:16.

Is Christ not the vine? Are we not expected to bear fruits, not only the fruit of righteousness which tends to life, to win souls into the kingdom through the power and gifts of the spirit (then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spoke, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city. Acts 8:5-8), but also to bear the fruit of a progressive personal transformation into his likeness and image, lest our converts become twice worst the child of hell than us, and lest we become as those who are blind, though in Christ, but cannot see afar off, and has forgotten that they’ve been washed and purged from their old sins, by not making our calling and election sure through cultivation and multiplication the fruit of the spirit. 2 Peter 1:5-10. Note: those who are chosen by God’s foreknowledge are called to be conformed into the image of his son through practice and spiritual cultivation of the fruit of the spirit, that they might be glorified with him if they keep on living and walking in the spirit.

There is no such term as the Pentecostal church in the bible, the fulfillment of Christ promise to send the spirit of God to the church was what we knew happened on the day of Pentecost, a feast day if the Jews. Those who embrace the full gospel of Christ walk in divine power and nature, demonstrating both the power of the spirit through his gifts as well as demonstrating the mark of Christ which could be seen through the gifts of the spirit of God.

By the way, it is written that I – Christ and the children God has given me are for signs and wonders from the Lord of host which dwells in Zion. Isaiah 8:18. So, you cannot remove or separate the supernatural from Christ or from Christianity until the end of the church on earth, when the Lord shall descend from heaven to take away his bride. Furthermore, to manifest the gift (s) of the spirit without developing, cultivating and growing in the fruit of the spirit, not growing daily in the likeness of Christ, is equal to having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.

Moses lay his hand upon Joshua for transfer of gifts and power. The bible also command syou not to lay hands suddenly on any man. Spiritual gifts are transferable by the laying of hands ( I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gifts. Romans 1:11), but the productivity and maturity of  the fruit of the spirit depends on your mindfulness to walk in the spirit if you are living in the spirit (born again) as the bible commands. The fruit of the spirit is to reflect the nature of the new man, for those that are in Christ have put him on, and they must show his love, peace, humility, meekness, patience, temperance, self control, faith, joy etc to the people in the world and before the people they are ministering to.

Pray and seek unto God for the manifestations of his gifts in you. It is biblical to desire spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy. 1 Corinthians 14:1. The gift(s) of the spirit is a divine ability residing in you (stir up the gifts that is in you by the laying hands of the elders), given at the baptism of the holy spirit.
