The unfailing promises for the present and future blessings of God against self procured or induced curse (s) in Christ Jesus.

Message to be preached today, the Lord’s day, the 15th of May, 2022.

Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness. 2 Peter 2:14-15.

The text before us out rightly spell out the doom and the eternal condemnation of (a) the morally profaned servants of God like the two sons of Eli which took advantage of their priesthood to defile and sexually corrupt the female worshippers in the church: (b) the rejection of the prosperity and covetous preachers who are corrupting the word of God for gain, for men’s attention and for praise, both of whom are describe as cursed children, which have forsaken the right way, meaning that all the wide gate and broad way believers are cursed and doom for eternity for the end of such road is hell for eternity. Matthew 7:13.

The promises and the blessings of the blood of the everlasting covenant stand true and sure within the bond of the covenant, the bond of the promises and the bond of the blessings, meaning that strange actions or doings or ways of life out of the framework of the covenant can procure or attract curse to a child of God.

Overstepping of boundary outside the boundary of the inheritance of promise (s) of the blood of the everlasting covenant like King Ahab coveted the inheritance of Naboth’s vineyard could turn to a generational curse upon anyone who will do such things as to kill the man and to have his vineyard in possession like king Ahab was cursed by God despite all the blessings within his grasp as king in Israel, – finally, any manifested blessings of earthly, physical, material, financial, marital, spiritual glory (s) apart or outside of the blood of the Lamb is to trample under the feet the blood that sanctifies them to rule out the possibility of any forgiveness – sin unto death for anyone who will go down to Egypt – Satan, magician, witchcraft, voodoo or whatever the power of darkness for abrakadra spirit and power as a child of God: this is it to despise the Spirit of grace: it is a sin unto death which no one should pray unto God to forgive such man whose doom and everlasting curse is sealed. Hebrews 10:29. Note: lest any should breach their hope to inherit the promise of eternal bliss for a place in the blackness of darkness, those who are now saved out of Egypt must not seek to go back to Egypt lest they die, or seek to live the life of the Egyptians in the wilderness, this is altogether a cursed lifestyle: those who are now translated from the dominion of darkness into the kingdom of God’s dear Son – Christ through the blood of the everlasting covenant should never – ever transport themselves, for whatever reason, back to the darkness to seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? For the living to the dead? If the light which is you is darkness, how great is that darkness? Isaiah 8:10. Matthew 6:22-23.

Are we stronger than the Lord? Do we really seek to provoke Christ to jealousy, which now have all the power in heaven and on earth in his hand? Or, do any seek to set Christ in contest once again against the defeated and abhorrent adversary? None can both dine and wine with Satan and Christ, for the congregation of hypocrites shall perish, fire shall devour their tabernacles. Job 15:34. Do we seek to exalt Satan above Christ exalted highly by God above every other name? Do we seek to demean Christ person and his finished work on the cross where he once and for all triumphed over and openly disgraced the principalities and powers?  Beloved, such self demeaning (not Christ) demeaning spirit is to debase oneself into hell even as king Saul died for his iniquity by consulting them with familiar spirits. Little children, keep yourself from idols. Hebrews 10:29. 1 John 5:16-21.

Apart from the sabbatical curse of the law which has no effect on us as believers in Christ Jesus, there are lots of self induced curses outside the perimeters of the agreement of the blood of the everlasting covenant we are to avoid (and now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you. If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, says the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. Malachi.2:1-2), lest any of God’s present or future blessings should become a curse unto us. There are responsibilities attached to the promises and blessings given unto us through the testament of the blood of the everlasting– the New Testament or covenant by the blood of Jesus, failure to commit to those agreements is an attraction to spiritual curse. Sometimes, things men may consider as a curse is not a curse. For example, being financially poor might not simply means that a man is curse because God makes rich and he makes poor (1 Samuel 2:7), having made the poor of this world to be rich in faith and as heirs of the kingdom he promised. James 2:5. But if the poor in Christ will not be content with his lot in the Lord, (a) but keep company with a thief to aid or buy a stolen good for a cheaper price to maximal his profit, whoso is partner with a thief hates his own soul: he hears cursing, and bewrayeth it not. Proverbs 29:24: (b) to seek for wealth and riches in an unjust way against the principles of God’s blessing which make a man rich without sorrow (as the partridge sits on eggs, and hatches them not; so he that gets riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool (Jeremiah 17:11), such action of covetousness will bring present and eternal curse on such, just like Achan caused himself a trouble and was cursed and killed at the conquest of Jericho for his covetousness, not entering the Promised Land, shall such be destroyed (Joshua 7:5), because there is no covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of God and of Christ, let no man deceives you with vain words, because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon children of disobedient, be not ye partakers with them. Ephesians 5:4-5: (c) sickness sometimes can be as a result of man’s own overall negligence of his well being (men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself. Psalms 49:18 b: the merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubles his own flesh. Proverbs 11:17), but sometimes, sickness and untimely death can be sent from God as a curse on anyone in Christ Jesus who will not discern the Lord’s body and blood but partake from the Lord’s table unworthily. 1 Corinthians 11:27-30.

Though, the promises and blessings are made secured, steadfast and unchanging by the blood of the everlasting covenant, yet, they are all conditional, God is not binding if we should go outside the cross or cross the boundary line between light and darkness, just as uncle Laban and Jacob made a boundary and covenant of no crossing back to each other’s side to harm one another after the latter escaped the slavery of his evil uncle. Genesis 31:52. Note:  though we are presently delivered, is Satan not hotly pursuing after believer’s life as a roaming lion as Laban hotly pursued after Jacob and his household? If any of your household- blood relations is not born-again, you should not be unequally yoked, lest you be defiled and cursed. Let no one among the household of the God of Jacob should think of going back to the cruelty father or uncle Laban, lest they should get hurt and enslave by him – be ye not servants of men, for you are bought with a price: but if Laban should seek to cross over the heap of stones of covenant to hurt anyone of the household of the God’s Jacob, our God will see to it and rebuke it – touch not my anointed, and do my servants no harm.

Are we not the blessed of the Lord which made the heaven and the earth? Are we not redeemed by Christ from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree: that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith? Should you be living and walking in Christ after the law in the oldness of the letter, and not in the newness of the spirit, without procuring curse upon yourself? Is it not written that cursed is every one that continues not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them? Galatians 3:10. Are we not circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: buried with him in baptism, wherein also we are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead? (Colossians 2:11-13): for when we were in the flesh (before conversion and salvation), the motions of sins (the works of the flesh), which were by the law did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. Romans 7:5.

In our present our union with Christ, why should we not seek to be rooted and grounded in him, built up in him, so that we might be like the earth which receives daily dew and rain from God, bringing up herbs and meat for them by whom it is dressed, lest we become that which bears thorns and briers, which will be rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned? Hebrews 6:7-8.

We are not blessed if we have a form of godliness, but are denying the power thereof. God has altogether given commandment for his children to turn away from such false brethren in the Lord, for he will not receive them into his everlasting glorious home on high. 2 Timothy 3:1-5.

The beauty and glory of our new life in godliness and Christ likeness should be without the word (likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives.1 Peter 3:1) or with the word while we speak and do as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty (James 2:12), for the believer should be as the living epistle of Christ, read and known by all men (2 Corinthians 3:2), and his good ways of life – his incorruptible lifestyle in a corruptible world and perverse generation, coupled with his good works which cannot be hid as a house built on the hilltop: all of these things should speaks of the sweetness and goodness of God to the heart of sinners, probably to inspire faith and encouragement in the ungodly to seek after the Lord. Is it not written that every tree which does not bear good fruit shall be cut down and shall be thrown into the fire – cursed? Just as the fig tree – though good (Judges 9:10-11) was cursed by the Lord because he could not found a fruit to eat from it, though it wasn’t the time of the fig to give fruit and the was hungry, be diligent and fruitful, because he can visit you at anytime, even in the time of spiritual drought, you are expected to bring forth fruit – blessed is the man that trusts in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreads out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.  Jeremiah 17:7-8.

Unfruitful and unstable life in the believer’s walk in spirit is a cursed life: if we live in the spirit, let us also walk in the spirit. How long shall we continue to seek to build again that which has once destroyed? Romans 6:6. Can we say that we are truly the blessed of the Lord, or we are called to inherit blessing as long as we are sowing to the flesh, for its end and harvest is death. If by the deceitfulness of sin, we dare or defy sin to walk after the fleshly lusts which wage war against the soul, is it not to confound the difference between good and evil? Woe unto them that call evil good. Awake to righteousness and sin not (1 Cor.15:34), shift from playing games with grace, and stop drawing iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope (woe –curse be unto such men and women in the Lord. Isaiah 5:18), but seek for grace and power to help you for self denial (1 Peter: 4:1), for some have not the knowledge of the righteousness of God.

The question often been asked, can a believer be cursed in Christ Jesus? The answer is emphatic yes, if he is a God’s covenant breaker! Shall he break covenant, and shall he escaped? Are we not living in a self conceited society and generation of the prideful disobedient to parents, and they will not honor the presence of old age and of the hoary hair? Surely they are cursed, either they are in the Lord or in the world: the eye that mocks at his father, and despises to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it. Proverbs 30:17.

The wise shall inherit glory, while the fools in Christ Jesus are cursed: be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is! Ephesians 5:17. If we will not seek to know, and to submit in love to the will and purposes of God, how can we assert to live a fruitful, fulfilling and blessed life on earth? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath. But and if that servant say in his heart, my lord delays his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; the lord of that servant will come in a day when he looks not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. Luke 12:43-48.

Do any realize that when they wrest and strive against the scripture in the place of submission to the unchanging word and will of God for mankind, they are striving against God to their destruction? 2 Peter 3:16. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Search the scripture to walk in all ‘the blessed is the man’ or ‘blessed is the man that does this or that’ and you’ll surely be blessed, but though you are in Christ Jesus Christ Jesus, but you chose not to live by the principles of those blessedness, you have procure present and future eternal curse upon yourself. Not all, but there are many phrases from the Old Testament scriptures such as ‘thou shall not’, ‘no man or woman shall’, or the few from the New Testament, such words as ‘not with’, or ‘it should not be’ which are the instructions in righteousness should be marked and carefully observed, lest you should procure curse upon yourself.

Satan, because of his God’s given or endowed wisdom and beauty became proud and self exalted and was cursed and expelled from heaven, – woe – curse be the man that is wise in his own eyes, or prudent in his own sight. Isaiah 5:21. Be clothed and walk in humility, and mind not high things, but keep company with the humble people in the Lord – whosoever for whatever reason in the kingdom as a child of God should become proud – for any spiritual experience (s), affluence, outward beauty, promotion, position of power and authority in the society etc is a cursed believer, he will not make heaven, for the cause- pride of Satan’s expulsion and rejection from heaven shall be his condemnation and restriction from gaining heaven  – thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments. Psalms 119:21.

We are called to submit to every ordinance of men (including parents, husbands, employer, school authority as a student) for the Lord’s sake (1Peter 2:13-14), why should we not live in submission to the Father of spirits and live? A curse causeless shall not come (Proverbs 26:2), but any rebellious act or spirit in us against the word or the will of God will attract curse by itself – woe unto them! For they have fled from me: destruction unto them! Because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me. And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, and they rebel against me. Hosea7:13-14. Note: except we learn to obey and submit to the Father’s will like Christ learned obedient unto God by the things which he suffered and gone through during the days of his flesh, neither will Christ, neither shall his blood cover for any rebellious act against God or against the authorities set over us in the Lord in the days of the Lord’s vengeance. Woe unto him that strives with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashions it, what makes thou? Or your work, he hath no hands? (Isaiah 45:9): woe unto him that says unto his father, what begets thou? Or to the woman, what hast thou brought forth? Isaiah 45:12.

Faith was preached to Abraham before the law was given. Galatians 3:8. Are you walking after the steps of Abraham’s faith, for Abraham’s true blessings? Do you faithfully pay or give your spiritual dues – tithes to your God in the local church or to the faithful servant of God, for those who receive the office of the priesthood has the commandment to receive tithes of their brethren! Are you robbing God? Should a man rob God? A spiritual thief or church robber of tithes is a curse child of God- period. Malachi 3:9. It is the law of firstling and first fruits, but if you cannot differentiate the holy and the clean, the one over the ten –tithes from the unclean, you are under a curse.

Check out the scripture for the words cursed be he that do this or do not do this etc to repent and come back to God, lest you keep living ignorantly under unconscious spiritual curse which may cost you dearly at the end. Cursed be he that do the work of God deceitfully… woe or curse be he that is at ease in Zion (Amos 6:1), for such are wretched, and poor, and blind, and naked: except they buy of the Lord gold tried in the fire, that they may be rich; and white raiment, that they may be clothed, and that the shame of their nakedness do not appear; and anoint their eyes with eye salve, that thou may see. Revelation 3:17-18. Blessed is the man that edures his temptations, for the Lord has reserved the crown of glory for those who loves him, though they have not seen him (James 1:12/ 1 Peter 1:8): but eternal curse be to the man or the woman with no genuine love for our Christ, though they be in Christ – if any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.  1 Corinthians 16:22.
