Overcoming the deception of false perception of the lateness of Christ second coming for his dead and living saints

But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, my lord delays his coming;and shall begin to smite his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; the lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looks not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, and shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Mt 24:48-51.

This is the last and the concluding part in the series of ‘Believer’s awakening and discernment against the deception of the last day’. Spiritual life is a military engagement of no retreat or surrender, but of increasing devotion and spiritual brokenness before the Lord, lest any be taken over by the deception of false perception of the lateness of Christ coming for the saints in any way of spiritual limit or practice and be drawn back in personal prayer life or group prayer participation  – distraction from personal bible study life with withdrawal from participation in group bible study – finding faults against the local church to withdraw from group evangelism with voluntary abandonment of the assembly of saints as the day of Christ is approaching. Hebrews 10:25. Note: the priority of God is to do everything for the general interest of those he have loved with everlasting love (Isaiah 43:4), to facilitate their ripeness for eternal harvest for their possession of the purchased inheritance of eternal salvation obtained by the eternal redemption through the blood of Christ.

God is a perfect planner and management of the affairs of heaven and earth, while Christ coming for the church in the air is uniquely Father’s prerogative. It is a trap and destruction of false idea, perception and deception of Satan to think otherwise so as to act or live contrariwise by such an influence of a corrupt and deceitful heart that Christ coming is delayed, or  it’s likely not take place. But Christ as our faithful high priest is now seated at the right hand of God in heaven prevailing in his intercession for the saints (Rom.8:34) and will yet prevail in our favor before the throne of mercy in heaven to obtain the permission needed from the Father ‘to come earlier than expected’ to gather unto himself his elects from the four corners of the earth as it is written that except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. Matthew 24:22. Note: no believer should be caught unaware by the arrival of Christ, and none should be taken over by anything from the world, or by Satan, or by the pleasure or deceitfulness of sin, neither by the good or bad situation of life or death, or by anything, but to be ready and prepare, either for the separation of the physical body from the soul by physical death, or by Christ sudden – earlier than anticipate coming for the church. 1 Cor. 15:52.

God’s time is perfect and his decision precise, timely and punctual as a keen observer and controller of everyman’s ways, for his eyes is upon the ways of man, and he sees all his goings. There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves. Job 34:21-22. Search and read the article on this web site on ‘the two sleepers’ to understand the preparedness of the wise virgins that made all the difference for their favor at the sudden announcement of the arrival of the bridegroom. Matthew 25.

The wise in the kingdom of God shall be watchful and circumspect in all their works and ways by not taking anything for granted: though, they are sometimes weary in the body, but not in the spirit, always renews their strength like the eagles. They are at rest in Christ because they wait on their God continually (Hosea 12:6): but the foolish, they sleep the sleep of death and the sleep of the slothful in business, being careless, slack and are at ease in Zion; but great shall be the ruin which shall suddenly come upon them – woe unto them who are at ease in Zion and will not abound in the will and works of the Lord. Amos 6:1.

We should take the advantage of our Lord’s perceived delay to prepare the way of the Lord and to make straight the pathway of Christ in our lives for his coming, for not one jot or title of our Lord’s word will falls to the ground nor pass away till all is fulfilled. We have the assurance from Christ (Luke 12:7) for the comfort and encouragement of saints that none shall be left to tarry beyond a second of his life on earth at the end of his assignment for his transition into glory, or at Christ coming for the living saints to be ‘caught up to meet the Lord in the air’ (1 Thess.4:17): for yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man drawback, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. Hebrews 10:37-39.

Do we indeed believe in Christ own words that surely I come soon (after a short time) and my reward is with me to give to everyman according as his works shall be? Revelation 22:12. We should therefore be in a state of expectancy and readiness to receive the Lord, whether it is in the day, noon or at night: whether we live, do we not live unto God, or whether we die, do we not die unto him? The issue of our Lord’s coming for the church will be very happy and comfortable to those that shall be found ready, but very dismal and dreadful to those that shall not. If we should continue to live unto ourselves (2 Corinthians 5:14-15) instead of living unto him that died for us and rose again is an indication that we are eating and drunken with the drunken – living our life in the flesh to the lusts of men, and not to the will of God: but we know the reward and the end of such hypocritical life from the Lord. Isn’t it? 1 Peter 4:1-6.

Presently, Christ is preparing a place for each member of his body (you and me) in heaven as we also look forward to receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken: we should therefore shake ourselves from the dust and stain of sin and of any ungodly pleasure of the world, or the lusts of the flesh which will impede as infringement (for I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 2 Cor.11:2) of soul from going into the banquet hall with the bridegroom at his coming, for we must attend upon the Lord without distraction, and we must have our lamps ready trimmed to obtain the inheritance which we then hope to enter upon, and we must have ourselves ready, made meet to partake of it. Colossians 1:12.

You do well to take thoughtful heed of the Lord’s condemnation and rejection of certain church leaders and workers for the sin of worldliness and dereliction or negligence of spiritual duty, and of their cruel behaviors and unfitting attitudes in the church against the sheep of the Lord’s pasture – to smite his fellow brethren by way of oppression and spiritual intimidation of false spiritual superiority, authority and power – the elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being examples to the flock. 1 Pet. 5:1-3.

Consider the compromises of these leaders which may not necessary be an unequally yoked together with unbelievers, but the lifestyle of avarice (extreme greed for wealth and material gain) of a carnal minded believer, church worker or servant of God who is after the world, instead of coming out of the world, but are sullied and tarnished by the world, awaiting to be condemned alongside it (brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things. Philippians 3:17-19) for their irresponsible leisure and pleasure like the unsaved in the world as the heart is now overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life so that day (or his physical death) come upon such unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Luke. 21:34 -35.

Our putting off the thoughts of Christ’s coming will not put off his coming for the church – look out, the Lord is at hand. To focus your attention and desire on things above should be your watchword, knowing that your conversation is from heaven, from whence you look for the Savior. Here is the patience of the saints in their steadfast continuation in the faith once delivered unto the saints unto obedience of faith among all nations (as ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Colossians 2:6-7) through diligent spiritual labor and continuation in the present and future profitable exercise in increasing godliness (1 Timothy 4:7-8) to enter into the final eternal rest (but of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep do sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. 1Thessa.5.1-11) reserved for the faithful and diligent servants of Christ.

The time mystery of the perceived prolongation of Christ second coming for the church (a) reveal the goodness of God holding out an olive branch in his hand for those outside the church to come into the sheepfold, as well as for those in the church to wash their garments  in the blood of the Lamb, perfectng holiness in the fear of God, for God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance: (b) it also reveal the fulfillment of scripture that Christ will not be released by the Father to come for the church until the gospel of the kingdom is preached among the nations of the world, then shall the end come: (c) it also exposes the heart of the deceitful professors of faith, their pretentious and their false love for Christ, showing also the testimony of the  unfeigned faith and love in the patience of hope in Christ coming shown by his faithful brethren in the last day.

Christ will be sent back on earth, first, for the beloved redeemed sleeping in him, whom he has purchased by his precious blood for heaven (and when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; which also said, ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Acts 1:9-11) as the angel by his trumpet shall first call forth those who are sleeping in the dust of the earth for the first resurrection to take place, then shall the living saints who are alive and remain shall also be changed and caught up to meet the Lord in the air according to working whereby he is able to subdue all things unto himself, meaning to change the physical appearance of the living believers to be fashioned according to his – Christ glorious resurrected body. This is the hope, the glorious hope of the faithful brethren in the Lord whose conversation or citizenship is in heaven, from whence also they look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ: who shall change their vile bodies, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. Philippians 3:20-21.

The wicked servant divided himself between God and the world, Christ and Belial, his profession and his lusts; but those who are after the spirit, mind the things of the spirit. The latter live and walk daily in the spirit as a grateful and privileged partaker in the power of the world to come (Hebrews 6:4-5) in order to prepare and get ready for the sudden and imminent coming of Christ for his elects on earth. Except you keep sowing to the spirit, you are not likely going to reap incorruption at Christ second coming, for the mechanism and operation of a believer’s physical body to be changed or transformed according to Christ glorious – celestial body is according to working whereby Christ is able to subdue all things unto himself, meaning that the same resurrection power which the Father wrought in his Son when he raised him up from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: and hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him that fills all in all is deposited in you shall be the spiritual magnetic force to lift you up to  connect you with Christ in the air at his coming for you. So, what is your love in the spirit? What is your fellowship and your present relatiosnhip with the Spirit of God? It is written about Christ that he was strong in the Spiirt, so, what is your spiritual strenght like? Grieve not the spirit, by which you are sealed unto the day redemption? What is your current relationship with the spirit of God? What is your standing in the world because the spirit he has given unto us is jealous and envious if we in any way be spotted with the world which makes our spiritual life impure and unfit for heaven! Ephesians 1:20-23.

Where Christ is found, there shall his servant be. Think about being led always by the spirit of God (Rom 8:14), and be very careful of being found at illegitimate places such as the beach, cinema or worldly opera and theatrical places, or being found in the company of illegitimate association of ungodly yoked with unbelievers, for there is no harmony between Christ and Belial. Be careful of illegitimate activities or works, lest Christ sudden and imminent coming for his bride should found you in the wrong place and in the company of wrong people while conducting wrong business or activities, then shall you be found unworthy and unprepared to enter into the banquet hall with the bridegroom.
