Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus says the Lord, even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contended with thee, and I will save thy children. And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunk with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob. If Satan with his angels did not fall from heaven and cast down to the earth, there will be no need for deliverance because the fall of man will not have taken place. The fall of the former from heaven occasioned the fall of the latter on earth. He incites rebellion against God in heaven but failed and introduced the same on earth but succeeds to fall Adam and Eve, to separate them from God unto himself, as bondman and bondwoman in darkness, out of the care, fellowship, life, and paradise of God.                                                                                                          Deliverance is God is spiritually re-creating and re-positioning man to repair and undo the damages done by Satan in the Garden which he accomplished in Christ Jesus when he delivered us from kingdom of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. This is the sweetest testimony of victory of the redemption of man’s soul back to his rightful owners – Christ, bishop and shepherd of it. The devil thought within himself that if he couldn’t get God’s throne in heaven, he will get man and his soul from God on earth to become his! Thus he scandalised God and penetrated into man to rob God of man’s souls, but God cried out all souls are mine. He called the council of heaven together and devised means in himself to that his banished expelled from his presence should be restored back to walk again in that divine presence he had once lost and to live in it forever. Thus was Christ conceived as the word of God that became flesh to reclaim his Father’s property on earth – the lost sheep – lost souls.                                                                                                                               Man was robbed of his dominion inheritance given by God to Satan, stripped of his glory, and taken the crown from his head to reign as the god on earth in the place of man – is it not written, I said, you are gods, and all of you are the children of Most High, but you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. Psalms 82: 6.                                                                       Gross darkness is upon the earth and the powers and works of darkness thrive because Satan reigns for now on earth in the children of disobedient. The kingdom of darkness is maliciously organised, except the Lord frustrate the token of the liars, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like Gomorrah whom the Lord wiped out from the face of earth. The kingdom of darkness works differently in styles and manners with different degrees of iniquities and wickedness according to the customs and ancestor’s foundational bondage in individual’s family, societies, communities and as well as in the nations.                                                                                                   Satan’s number one weapon is keep believers and unbelievers alike out of the loop – to keep unregenerate men in total spiritual blindness (dead spiritual network) and to keep believers in ignorance of the power made available for them in Christ Jesus for all things pertaining to life and godliness through the knowledge (that their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2: 2-3) of him that has called us to glory and virtue: whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lusts. The lack of information (truth) and insufficient information (half truth) are both dangerous and capable to lead the soul away into captivity and eternal destruction – my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. This is the power of Satan’s veil over all people the nations on earth; except they turn to the Lord (you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free) shall the veil gradually be taken away. Isaiah 25:7. Hosea 4:6.                                                                                                                         Nothing happens by chance on earth except those things determined from God’s throne from heaven, but they are usually opposed and disrupted by the kingdom of darkness: but above all, the Lord has established his kingdom in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all.                          The blindness caused by Satan’s veil resulted in many unbelief to the truth that he, his demons and human agents of darkness actually exists and operates in fury to destroys the creation and creatures of God, but their unbelief doesn’t change the truth that they do actually do exists to destroy.                                                                                                                                                 Some men and women are highly possessed with diabolical powers of darkness to do unimaginable evil and to wrought damages of eternal proportions on earth in other people’s life as well as in the society. They seek to gain control over the spiritual atmosphere and activities of their principality to influence the behaviours and lifestyles of the inhabitants to conform and adapt to the programme and desire of Satan. Note: some men are conscious of their possession by the evil spirits and power, perfectly agreed and inwardly content of the presence of demons in their lives for the evil works those demons empowers them to undertake. (2.) Some men’s life is completely taken over by the evil spirits, and is not conscious of the activities of the strangers in their lives such as the lunatic of the Gadarenes. Mark 5:1-3. (3) Some men live their normal life but they are own by Satan because they are not born again, though religious and self- righteously perfect in their own eyes (4.) Some men are not possessed by any evil spirit; but rather, they are indwelling by the Spirit of God: nonetheless, they are under the assaults of evil spirit and powers of darkness, because they rebelled against darkness to walk in the truth and in the light. Such is the case of true believers all over the world: hence, you are warned to put on the whole armour of God to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one – Satan.                                                                                                 Demonic possession is to be under the bondage and control of evil spirits, taken captive by your ignorance or at your own will. It is a spiritual battle between two kingdoms, one of light to set the captives free from bondage of sin, darkness and from the condemnation of eternal damnation – the kingdom of Christ. The other kingdom is of darkness to keep men in an unending bondage to be living in sin, satisfying the lusts of the flesh and of the world – the kingdom of Satan. It is up to individual to choose his co-operation, alliance, allegiance and affinity with either of the two actors of the opposing kingdoms – Christ or Satan.                                                                                                                                                        
 
Many of us may have seen and heard the testimonies of people who once claimed to possess power from Satan or born with a gift to read stars or bring good luck that can help another to find a true love – a good salary job – read your palms and your date of birth (horoscope) to overcome enemies and get solution for your problems – to protect you from evil; but they are not born again into the kingdom of God by repentance from sin and faith in our Christ-Lord. This is the operation of a familiar spirit (and when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? to the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Isaiah 8:19-20) and such people are not shy to boast of using those gifts to help people with their so called spiritual ability and power. Though, some of them may claim to be Christians, don’t be stupid and gullible to follow them because they are the children and messengers of Satan in his scheme and cleverness to increase prisoners and prey in what the bible calls the lawful captive, because of individual’s wilful or conscious and ignorant submission to seek spiritual counsel and to get help from wrong spiritual medium or contact.                                                                                        We found a good example of an open witchcraft practice in the book of Acts of Apostles Chapter 16 verses 16 to 18 where people with divers problem takes delight to seek for answers and solutions from their problems from this young girl who was possessed by a Python serpentine spirit with power for divination. She does give accurate revelations, but they are demonically inspired prophetic instructions not from the Holy Spirit of the living God. She appeared like an angel and messenger of light as she recognised and acknowledged the presence of the true servants of God (Paul and Silas) who has come to show us the way of salvation, but those Spirit filled men of God would not fall for her corrupt prophecy and revelation from the pit of hell to collaborate with Satan, but would seek for a convenient occasion to cast out the demon and set her free, which they did afterward. Whatever your interest and goal to seek after familiar spirit, either to improve your everyday life, or seek to know the outcome of a forthcoming event, is completely out of question – spiritually unreasonable in your relationship with God in Christ Jesus. Either it is black or white sorcery or magic, low or high magic, (witchcraft or Wicca) witchcraft practices are sinful, spiritually defiled and abominable deeds to God and damnable against the soul, condemns it to hell fire. Deuteronomy 18: 10-12.                                                                                                                                                  The black sorcerers or magic (users of supernatural diabolical powers over others) are agents of Satan and they are able to destroy innocent, bright and precious promising lives by turning it upside down through fetish, casting spells, juju or voodoo to control or manipulate, and to make life unbearable for their victims through the programme of evil circle of crisis (from one mysterious strange trouble to another trouble – from fire to fire) just to frustrate and keep their victim in a mysterious seemingly un-ending problems, disappointment, repeated annual or permanent strange illness, failures at the edge of success, mysterious hardships amidst hard work – an evil windy unstable life amidst of all efforts and wisdom to make things look good and better outside. This is what the bible calls the rod of the wicked which shall not fall upon the lot of the righteous (the redeemed purchased by the blood of Jesus are spared and protected from the effects of those evil manipulative powers – whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes Jesus is the Son of God overcomes the world – no divination shall prosper against Israel and there is no enchantment that shall work against Jacob. Numbers 23:23. Psalms 125:3.1 John5:4-5) lest the righteous put forth their hands into iniquity.                                                                                                                 
 
Witchcraft is modernised and is divided into category, class and family, but they are all branches from the root of the tree which is evil – Satan. According to the law of God in the book of Exodus 22 verses 18, the witches and wizards must not live because they are the public enemy number one before him. Unfortunately, in this untoward generation and evil society, they are openly tolerated, applauded and recognised, and annually celebrated at the beginning of their calendar new year on October 31st as the Halloween night.                                                                It is an evil and wicked night, a perfect night for the witches and wizards to celebrate New Year, when it is believed that, Samhain, the lord of darkness, rises from the underworld as the wall between the earth and underworld opens to roams the world looking for lost souls blood and flesh to feed upon. They sacrifice humans by means of spiritual transfer (father, mother, son, daughter, friend and whosoever) through diabolical supernatural operation as an oblation to Satan, either to perform a vow, or to meet a demand of Satan. ‘And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shall have no more soothsayers: thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shall no more worship the work of thine hands. And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities. And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard’. Micah 5:12-15.                                                                                                                                            There are many unregenerate souls who are victims of untimely death under unrighteous decree and judgement (Isaiah 10:1) from the coven of witchcraft, including the openly rebellious and defiant sinners who died without Christ under the spells of unrighteous life, they are all eternally gone into perdition, especially, those who have consciously and willingly sold out to Satan on earth in exchange for wealth, wisdom, fame, honour, power and riches of vain glory, for them, the hottest place in the furnace of fire that does not quench is awaiting them. Note: if we faithfully keep the faith to rejoice in hope and to endure whatever is permitted by the Lord as trial and lot on earth, at the end of the day, we shall in our lot with him and eat with him at his table in heaven.                                                                                                                                       Salvation is a matter of choice; would you choose wisely to chose life, that you may live? It is your responsibility as from the age of accountability (twenty years old upward. Exodus 30:14. Numbers 14:29) if you refused to hearken to the voice of the holy Spirit in the time acceptable and in the day of salvation to depart from the world of sin without regeneration in Christ, the cause or nature of your death shall not be considered to determine your justification unto eternal life, if you die without repentance from sin and acceptance of Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour. Accidental death of any sort (killed by a stray bullet or fall a victim to terrorist attack, or got killed by a serial killer, or lynched by murderer or men’s stealer, or got involved in a fire, air plane, car) without Christ to the grave to life beyond –except you repent, you shall all likewise perish. Luke 13: 1-5.                                                                                                                                                               There are some that are called witch doctors – male or female, they claims to fight and protect you against witchcraft. They are all children and agents of darkness working under the guise of traditional doctors to appease Satan on your behalf, indirectly establishing a contact lien between you and Satan. The practice of witchcraft (occultism, luciferianism and Satanism ritualism and illuminati – these and others not mentioned are the extended family of Satan) worship are everywhere in the world without exception. On several occasions, I have witnessed jungle judgement meted out to the culprits of witchcraft practices in Africa like public stoning to death or direct physical attack from members of family against anyone of theirs accused and convinced by one way or other of practising witchcraft to manipulate or destroy the family. Though, the destructive wickedness and power of sorcery among the nations are real; nonetheless, God always prove himself the only potent and omnipotent among the nations through the resurrection and redemptive power of Jesus Christ – all power belongs to God.                                                                                                                                                  
 
By the grace of God through the presence of his Spirit, I can faithfully testify to the wonder working power of the word of God and of the exceeding greatness of his power that lives within us that believes through those things that God has wrought in the past ministrations and outreach experiences and testimonies of people who were thought to be possessed with witchcraft spirits and powers, but were freed and delivered from the initiation, activities and membership, where evil yokes and links are broken, and evil burdens removed without any physical abuse to demean or inflict physical punishment, for example, by repeatedly beating the victim of witchcraft with broom (Nigeria traditional belief and taboo to punish and deliver a witch) or tie both legs and hands with rope or cord for many days without food and drinks for deliverance, not counting many victims of witchcraft attacks, arrows, spells and bondages who are set freed and delivered.                                                                                                                                         In 2003, I travelled from the Netherlands to Nigeria capital (Abuja) for a prayer Mountain program where I was received and accommodated by a young and newly-wedded pastor and his gentle humble wife – pastor and Mrs. Gbenga and Elisabeth Iwayemi. They had married approximately for three years before our encountered but with no sign of pregnancy for the fruit of the womb. The young and vibrant bride of my host found it strange not to have conceived after her marriage, having no medical problem; therefore, she sought for an audience to speak about her desire and concerns to conceive and bare children to fulfil the word of God. The night of the counselling season, shortly after our discussion as I was lying on the couch, I fell into a trance having a wrathful conversation with a woman. She warned me of a very serious repercussion or retribution if I should pray for the pastor’s wife for the fruit of the womb: according to her, her in-ability to conceive shouldn’t be my problem to get involved with. After this revelation, I was decisive and determined to get the job done with the Lord on our side for the pastor and his wife – is there not a cause to be received accommodated at their home? The following day, I narrated the revelation to the couple as an example of an open witchcraft attack, delay and opposition of their manifestation of marital blessing and fruitfulness –fruit of the womb. We fasted and prayed together and the Lord broke the yoke of witchcraft decree, suspension, emptiness, dryness and bareness over the family and blessed them with the fruit of the womb that same year –within the period of twelve months.                                                                                                                                            Note: The enemy’s threats against us are like the empty threats of Sennacherib king of Assyria, which he made against Hezekiah King of Judah, who thought to destroy the people of God the same way he had destroyed many nations whose gods are gold and silver, wood and stone – idol worshippers. With God in us and our side, the hosts of hell shall not be able to stand before us, but to stumble and fall – blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. 2 kings Chapters 18&19.                                                                                             The battle should be taken to the gates of the enemy by ignoring his roaring tactics to scare and intimidate the children of God: as it is written, I, even I, am he that comforted you: who art thou, that thou should be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass; and forget the Lord thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? And where is the fury of the oppressor? The captive exile hastened that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail. But I am the Lord thy God that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The Lord of hosts is his name. And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, thou art my people. Isaiah 51:11-16.                                                                                                                                         Let us also not forget that the Lord reveals Satan a strong man which should be first bind before you can confidently enter into his house to plunder his goods because his threats could be real if the Spirit and the word of God is not involve to undo, eliminate, neutralise and to render his power ineffective by the shield of faith and the Spirit of God within us.                                                                                                                                         As long as there is no breach, even in the state of our utter spiritual weakness (the strength of God is made perfect in our weakness –let the weak say, I am strong. It is not by power, nor by might, but by my Spirit, says the Lord) we are made stronger and victorious in Christ Jesus over Satan and the gates of hell. God is our Rock and defence, he is unmovable, we are undefeatable and indestructible in whom we are complete, which is head of all principality and power. There shouldn’t be a single moment that it was be said that a child of God is trapped or vulnerable to the enemy’s threats if we have not compromised our stand and upright walk in the Lord – fear not, no hair on your head shall fall o the ground without your heavenly father’s consent who would never deliver you as a prey to the evil destiny hunters.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               
 
Witchcraft manipulations are all over the places, even in the so called new generation churches. Fortune tellers, diviners or soothsayers are all over the places under the disguise of prophetic anointing and revelation, lying signs and wonders from the pit of hell. Though there are true prophets, but they are not as popular as their fake counterparts. How many prophets (magicians) of Pharaoh were brought in to contest against Moses and Aaron? How many prophets of Baal were at Mount Carmel to contend against Elijah? How many of those fake prophets had initially prophesied victory to Ahab before Micah was finally brought in before the king to dispute their deceitful one way prophecy? As a Spirit filled child of God, it is your responsibility to walk daily in discernment of spirit (if possible, they will deceive even the elects who are not walking under discernment of spirit) because they can never be eliminated as the tares must grow alongside the wheat until the time of harvest until final separation is made.                                                                                                                                                         It doesn’t matter how the devil chose to deal with you – cool or hot, his sole purpose is to steal, kill and to destroy. The warfare strategy, weapons and operations of demons over souls and individual’s life in the western world (develop nations) is completely different from the manner witchcrafts operates and war in third world countries – under developed nations. In the western world, Satan’s enslavement is major on luxury and diver sensuality of sexual mysticism, perversions and promiscuity to tighten his grip on the intellectuals and the simple of this world by his slogan of free world and liberty for all.                                                                                      
 
Witchcraft is transferable and its initiation is of a free will to Satan. Though, I’ve witnessed under age children who were once wickedly initiated against their will and empowered to execute evil judgement for Satan like the case of Ivon, a young boy of thirteen years old at the time he was set free in one of my meetings at Marcory in Abidjan. His grandmother was his link and connection to the power of Satan in him to punish and afflict his father’s life with different illness and failure in his endeavours because he divorced the wayward wife. Those children with witchcraft power can be sans pity and ruthless in operation. Ivon father was made to cry like a baby for the affliction and loss incurred on him by his son he thinks was caring for to rise to become responsible man in the future. Changing your geographical location or lodging accommodation is not the solution to witchcraft attacks with ability to locate you by their evil mirror tracking devise, but you can find shelter to hide under the shadow of God’s wings- the covering of his Spirit – the covering of the blood of Jesus – the covering and defence of the name of the Lord –the strong tower God’s name in Christ Jesus, whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.                                                                                                           I think by considering my extensive travelling within the African countries in view of the experiences I was opportune to have during different ministrations; for the spiritual attacks witnessed on victims of witchcraft siege and manipulation – for the overwhelming witchcraft destruction I’ve seen, I can sincerely and categorically admits that there are devastate degrees of witchcraft wickedness that are more brutal in some countries than the rest. It is widely believed that agents of darkness work mostly at night under the cover of darkness, but not in some countries like Nigeria, Republic of Benin, Cameroun, Congo Kinshasa, some part occupied by the regressado in Angola and in Ivory Coast where they work at noonday, even in the sunny period of the day time to smite their victims through the sun and destruction that wastes at noonday. Psalms 121:6.                                                                                                                       Witchcrafts practices in third world countries is breath breaking because of envy, bitterness and pleasure of wickedness to cast destructive spells on their victims through different arrows of promiscuous lifestyles (man or woman) shot and hit victims with witchcraft lunatic spirit, or lock pregnancy by witchcraft padlock. I’ve personally witnessed a young lady (because she engaged in a romantic relationship with a married man who because of the inability of his wife to give him a child) who was punished and afflicted to catty a padlock pregnancy for five years or more before she finally gave birth to an old baby girl during a deliverance season. Witchcraft can attack finances, release rejection spirit on their victim, or the arrow of a long time strange and seasonal sickness. They can cast spell of misunderstanding, strife and confusion to break marriages or separate good friends. They can cast spell to cause road accidents resulting into untimely and sudden death to collect demonic offering of sinner’s blood and flesh. They can cast spell on people to be controlled by the spirit of stealing, murdering, hooliganism, drunkenness and other shameful behaviours to mess up with the precious lives and destinies – they will not rejoice, unless they have done evil, and they do not sleep, unless they have caused harm, and if they chose not to terminate their victim’s life (these are the people with evil power to kill the body, but not the soul – remember, God restricted Satan not to kill Job with physical death) it is what the bible calls the cruel tender mercy of the wicked.                                                                                                                                              
 
It was after my conversion until I realised by the Spirit of God that my troublesome- juvenile delinquency and terrible and uncontrollable childhood lifestyles were as the effects of witchcraft manipulation, attacks and destiny diversions before the salvation and redemption of God finally appeared to turn things around in my life. I was born into a Baptist family and my parents were very devoted and faithful worshippers till the expiration of their hireling and pilgrimage days on earth. It was a custom to pray every morning by 6am and every evening by 9 pm with everyone (ten altogether in the family) not counting the relatives that stayed with us to gather and come together in the living room for devotions where the bible is read and short exhortation given to live right in godliness in the society. Every night, the family usually come together to give thanks for the day’s victory and to plead for divine protection against the enemy and from the dangers that lurk in darkness before going to bed.                                                                                                                                                 Irrespective of the godly efforts of good exemplary behaviours and maternal love from my parents, my life took a wrong, negative and destructive direction. I lived differently completely from how we’ve been taught and brought up to live godly and respectfully by our parents because the old depraved heart misguided my approach and ideas about life. I don’t like going to church or offering prayer to God, and I hated anything about bible and God; just living in my own world of vanity fantasy. It all started from the boarding house, as early as thirteen years old of age that I found myself taken over by marijuana, drunkenness, alcoholic street fight with butcher hatchet; worst of all was the use of diabolical ring and amulet that are physically and mentally damaging to defeat and to knock down opponents in the course of fighting or any physical confrontation and fist exchange. I had unlimited and insatiable passion for rioting and pleasure (partying) at night clubs, weekends all night ceremony (many people who know the Yoruba’s very well knows that they like ceremony party too much like burial party, one year to ten years dead mother’s remembrance party, marriage party….there are always weekend party somewhere that I and my friends would always crash to profit from free beers and cause trouble after getting drunk) staying late at the beer parlour with friends and unreasonable married and divorced elderly men and women who are willing to offer you free alcoholic drink to your satisfaction. Nigeria at that time was so buoyant economically and people are ready to destroy you with free drinks if you are willing to travel down the path of alcohol –whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise. Proverbs 20:1.                                                                                                                       
 
My father was well known in the neighbourhood as a very good, humble and respectable man; but for some period of time, he became a regular face at the Eleiyele police headquarters because of his frequent intervention to post a bail out of detention for my indecent behaviours, drunkenness, rioting and violent and aggressive offenses, public nuisances, assaults and causing physical injury on others.                                                                                                                                After many years of hardening and progression in this destructive ways of life, he became weary and broken by discouragement, saddened by his constant and seemingly unending visitation to the police station to post bails. He was a deacon and the choir master at the Baptist church, but was ashamed for the reproached and damages that my ways of life has brought to his good reputation; thus I became a thorn in his flesh. My mother was a different personality. She was mentally strong, tough and enduring, labouring continually in prayer for a positive change in my life. Sometimes, she can become emotional to cry day and night for my sake, asking God why these things are happening to her first son! Most of the time, she would asked me to fast and pray together with her for a change in the course of my life, even though she has being doing it all alone for long once or twice every week. I always reject her demand to fast together, admitting that nothing was wrong with me, and all are normal. I was spiritually blinded and can’t see the need to fast, but would rudely tell her to go a-head with her fast, but should not be for my sake, because I am fine, strong and agile- the way of a fool, is right in his own eyes. She kept praying and never gave up until her tears (Psalms 56:8) filled the bottle in heaven and the Lord sent his word to deliver and bring me out of my spiritual imprisonment through bad decisions, friends and wrong association in the community, and most especially from the boarding school – though, these things are as the result of the covert assault of the irresistible and overpowering influence of the prince of the power of the air, the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the children of disobedience.                                                                                                                                                                                     My mother never ceases to raise my controversial and problematic life as prayer points in prayer meetings for people to join her to pray before the Lord for my visitation and salvation.                            My deliverance from spiritual imprisonments did not just happened like an unwanted pregnancy from an unprotected sex, except that at a certain points in my life through divine mercy and the goodness of God which leads us to repentance, I realized that my life was not on the right course, though weak, powerless and helpless to change it on my own, but inwardly conscious for help which I never knew where it would come from.                                                       Despite many unfulfilled resolutions at the beginning of each New Year on my part which many religious and good hearted people are accustomed to make, my life continues to be the worst. I cried and wept in secret for the life I was living, been conscious and aware of an entanglement and serious problem I were in, but did not know the root of it, neither the way out of it until the Lord sent one Mr. Gabrael Olusola Ola to my rescue during my eldest sister’s wedding in November 1986.                                                                                                                                                                     This particular zealous and humble man of God was present at the wedding ceremony of my eldest sister, but at the same time, but at the same time commits himself to the responsibility to preach and to save souls in season and out of season. He is eager to preach and win souls in any opportunity given to him by the Lord; and he unashamedly preached Christ, repentance and the new birth to me – you must be born again. John 3:1-7.                                                                         I accepted the Lord and he prayed and followed me up for several times with prayer, constant spiritual admonition, invitation to fellowship and good example of humility with longsuffering, not considering my initial unwillingness to follow Christ. He showed unrelenting love, patience, forbearance, gentleness, simplicity and humility of Christ which are the factors of attraction and admiration of the Christ he preached to me. Thus the Lord responded to my mother’s cry and unceasing intercessory prayer for my salvation. Though, it was a long battle of dodging, avoiding, given excuses and trying to run away from the church fellowships and prayer meetings: but finally by 1987, the Lord gave grace and help, and I submitted and gave myself to Christ, and the rest are the testimonies of how the Lord redeemed Jacob and ransomed him from the hand of him that was greater and stronger than him. Jeremiah 31:11.                                                                                                                              
 
                                                            
 

1. There is no true deliverance effectuated if its objective to serve God in righteousness and holiness without fear all the days of our lives is not achieved. Without the quickening (deliverance from spiritual death) of the dead soul to awaken spiritual life, we are not saved, because we were born spiritually dead in sins and trespasses into the world. The spiritual death and estrangement from God was caused by the sin and fall of Adam and Eve’s delivered us into the hand of Satan, away from the favour and fellowship with God; we become bondmen and bondwomen in the world of sin and darkness, destined to die and perish, but divine love and mercy necessitated incarnation of Christ to share our nature and to redeem us from spiritual slavery and bondage into the glorious liberty of the sons of God.                                                                                                                                     The Lord has broken the enemy’s yoke and burst his bond in sunder. Now, the oppressed can have rest and safety, and those who are truly weary and are heavy laden with sins and divers yoke of wickedness can presently find true rest in Christ Jesus from their oppressor –the devil.                                                                                                                                                   No man can come to Christ unless the Father draws him….unless individual can see the urgent need for divine help and cry out to God for it, just like the blind Bartimeaus hit hard, desperately and bluntly cried out to Christ, ignoring the crowd until his voice over-powered the people around him to call the Lord’s attention for intervention in his life and was heard and healed by the Lord, there is little that can be done; as it is written, it is whosoever that shall call upon the name of the Lord, that shall be saved. Salvation as well as relationship with God in Christ Jesus is unique – whosoever will, may come; and whosever come to me (Christ) I will not reject, whatsoever the case may be! John 6:37.                                                                                                                  If a sinner cannot see the eternal danger that lies before him, analyses to acknowledge the necessity and urgency for his deliverance from sin (notwithstanding his upgraded morality, society decency and other moral justification) even the need for freedom from sin because he’s enjoying the pleasure of it, and has not yet done with iniquity, the impossible task to achieve by his yearly- carnal resolution, because he, as a dead spiritual man, who cannot help himself, just as a man who is pronounced medically prolonged dead cannot do anything for himself anymore, except the living cleans up and take care of his dead corpse, so must the living and resurrected Christ be invited to resurrect (quickening – to give life) back to spiritual life. ‘And Jesus said, for judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, are we blind also? Jesus said unto them, if ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, we see; therefore your sin remains’. John 9:39-41.                                                                                                                                                       
    
   It is not surprised the Lord declared the world to be under spiritual darkness, and he has come as one who is to give the light (spiritual) of life to anyone who will come to him. To live in the darkness is to live without God in Christ in the world. It is to be controlled by the flesh, the standard, culture and tradition of the world and Satan. There are those who are called as the children of the day and of light, sons and daughters of God, purchased and cleansed by the blood of Jesus. There are also some called as the children of the night and of darkness, they are the unrepentant sinners, religious or not, churched or un-churched.                                                 Until the light of the glorious gospel of Christ who is the image of God should shine to transform your life from the old to the new, you are yet in your sin – you are yet in the kingdom of darkness.                                                                                                                              Satan work is to obstruct salvation and to conceal the knowledge of eternal life from sinners; as a chief deceiver, he persuades men to harden their hearts against the truth for eternal salvation, thus the need for salvation is not felt nor seen and men are kept under perpetual spiritual blindness, bondage and darkness till death dew lies cold on their brow, and after death, judgement.                                                                                                                    Paradise (heaven of eternal glory – Jesus Father’s house) is prepared for man, while hell is exclusively prepared and reserved for Satan and his demon: but those that bluntly refused the love of the truth that they might be saved through the unique Saviour, the man Christ, who gave himself a ransom for all, has judged themselves unworthy of eternal life and are self -condemned to eternal damnation. Just think about the truth of eternal perdition that suddenly dawn on the thief at the right hand of Christ on the day of our Lord’s crucifixion, while his other partner in crime mocked at Christ sufferings. He looked away from the crowd’s opinion and mockery to plead urgently and fervently for the salvation of his soul before his time on earth elapsed and was heard and granted an entrance into paradise with the Lord- urgency of deliverance and salvation should be seen and felt to know the worth and value of the so great a salvation before it is obtained. The parable of treasure hid in the field – again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hides, and for joy thereof goes and sells all that he hath, and buys that field. Matthew 13:44.                                                                                                                                                             In the realm of the spirit, as soon as a sinner is awaken to the eternal condition of his unredeemed soul and made public need for deliverance or salvation known, and to embark in personal search for the treasure hid in the field to possess the pearl of a great price (Christ- the deliverer), whereby changing his allegiance to Christ as King and Lord, and his interest focus on the things of the world to come, all hell would break loose against him to hinder and prevent him from obtaining his desire treasure and eternal prize.                                                                              The search and desire to pursuit and possess the riches of Christ in this world is worthwhile and above any price for the enduring substance – treasures reserved in heaven for us considering the little time we have to fulfil the task before us and for the spiritual battle to fight and won in Christ – an heavenly race to run to enter heaven, a strong man to dislodge and his goods to plunder – a precious faith to keep – separation (unequally yoked) from the company of the unbelieving friends for full acceptance before God – living by the word of God each day, to make a good confession of the Saviour before sinners and the world.                                                                                                                                  
    
   ii. The voice of one crying in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord way of the Lord, make his paths straight. Matthew 3:3. The way of the Lord must be prepared into your life and in the world through you. God is coming back to renovate the earth of sin and to purify it of sin, and to make all things new for the habitation of righteous and righteousness.                           After the fall from the Garden of Eden, the way of man become crooked, wicked and corrupted upon the earth. His heart is corrupted against God, and in his mind, he becomes the enemy of his creator by his wicked works. But by the circumcision of heart, even the circumcision not made by hands through the circumcision of Christ, man’s crooked ways is made straight and his heart is turned back to his God to love and serve him freely as a sheep who has once lost and gone his way, but is now returned back to the Bishop and shepherd of his soul. Man was once without guilt, upright and enjoying communion with God before he opted to fall out of God’s plan, purpose, and ultimately sent out of – paradise.                                                                                                                                    Without the intervention and reparation of Christ to expatiate for the wrong done against the goodness of God that we might be saved (be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, but is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel) as the propitiation for our sins and surety before the court of heaven in the form and title of our faithful high priest to intercede for us in the presence of God, we stood no chance to have favour with God to live with him again, but to die eternally. 2 Timothy 1:8-10. Note: as the devil was expelled from heaven, so he deceived man until he was expelled from paradise; even so now that he knows his fate of eternal destruction at the end of time, he seeks to bring as multitudes of people along with him to that place of eternal punishments, away from the presence of God.                                                                                                                                                                         
    
   Jesus Christ is the life saver and giver – binding up the breach of his people and healing the stroke of their wounds. The story of the certain Samaritan man spoken by the Lord Jesus is the unspoken truth of the story of our redemption, showing us that there is no man, nor any priest and Levite, no ritual or any security, precaution nor efforts on our part that is so strong and good enough to protect, heal and to deliver us from the fatal attack and wounds inflicted upon us from the hand of the chief bandit – Satan. Except the Lord has sought for us, and found us and brought us into the inn (I am the door: by me if any man enters in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep, and flees: and the wolf catches them, and scatters the sheep. The hireling flees, because he is an hireling, and cares not for the sheep. John 10:9-13) even into the holy of the holiest by his blood to heal us with true balm of his Holy Spirit, and to wipe away the wounds of sin by his precious unblemished blood, we would be left dead in sins and trespasses – spiritually dead until we passed on to the second death – eternal death.                                                                                                                                                                              Christ is the good Shepherd – the door to come in and go out. Whosoever does not unite with Christ as one body with him scatters abroad to prolong the siege of the spiritual thief, waster and the destroyer of soul in his life, because of his refusal and rejection of the victory and liberty offered by Christ through his Spirit over the flesh, the sin, world and Satan –look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else. Isaiah 49:17: 45:22. Luke 10:25-29.
    
   Deliverance is the exchange of spiritual statute and identity from Satan’s bondage into total and complete liberty in Christ Jesus. It is also a changed of paternal, once a child of Satan to become a child of God by faith in Christ Jesus. It is the change of spiritual direction, destiny and citizenship from going down to the pit hell for eternity because of sinful and ungodly life styles, going up to heaven through the righteousness of Christ Jesus. This is the greatest exchange in spiritual transaction made possible to all men by Jesus sacrificial life and death: so that the just Saviour might bring the unjust sinners to God through the redemption that is in his blood, and to deliver us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. This is your ground preparation for heaven as you are saved and born into a new family of God on earth (church) to live for God and gradually growing spiritually by going through continual process of washing of the water by the word, that you might be presented to Christ as a member of his body without blemish or wrinkle or any such things, but that you should be holy, for upon Mount Zion shall be deliverance and holiness.                                                                                                                                                                  
    
   iii. The dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty. Psalms 74:20.                          These dark places of the earth are the evil spiritual altars erected by the enemy’s agents to worship Satan and to destroy lives and destines. It is the place where evil and unrighteous judgements and decrees of the wicked are issued from, a place where demonic punishments of evil arrows of curses and other weapons are fired from. But the prince (Satan) of this world is judged and is cast out, and Christ has given the honour and power of the authority of his name to his saints (the redeemed) to judge and destroy all evil altars, that they might execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute upon them the judgment written. Psalms 149:6-9.                                                                                                                                            Gross darkness has covered the earth, and the whole creation groans as in the pains of childbirth. All must run and turn to Christ because there is no underground shelter or fortification dugout that can save, neither any assurance of safety and quietness from trouble, darkness, agony, pain, spiritual slavery to sin and its destruction elsewhere – for thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. Thou shall bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low. Isaiah 25:4-5.                                            There are spiritual archers of souls and destiny hunters whose main occupation is to turn lives upside down and to pervert destinies. The whole creation is vulnerable and is under the spells of demonic powers, diabolical siege and covering. For this cause, the Lord came for safety and rescue mission of the entire human race: for God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.                                                                                                 Man has played into the hands of Satan and is caught up in the snare of the fowler, but to lose and set him free from the cords of his spiritual bondage and inherited iniquity, to be freed from the hand of the strongman (Satan) by the one that is mightier and stronger than the strongman, even Christ, has he come – I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
    
   Iv. From the beginning, man was created to be fearless from the fear of any evil, seeing he was created and given dominion to rule over all things. He was made to exert authority and power over everything created by God, and this includes Satan: and, never should man be intimidated or dominated by any other creatures or created being. But man put aside his ability of sound reasoning of mind to the spirit of fear of an unknown evil. Perfect love of God cast out fear, fear has to do with torment. Whosoever fear is not made perfect in the love of God. The devil succeeds to bring and keep man in the bondage of fear for his future, and has ever since seeks to make him an inferior fearful creature different from his original nature and attribute. This is the reason Christ stepped out to pay the price as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David who came down from heaven to earth to pay the price which no one in heaven or on earth could pay to undo what the enemy has done to stop man from having and retaining the dominion (regain his power and authority) over all the works of God’s hands, and to make him (man) comely in his walk in life in him (Christ Jesus) before God, so that man can fulfil the will and eternal counsel and purposes of the heavenly Father on earth before he pass on to eternity.                                                                                                                                                              You are called to fight and fighting requires boldness. You are chosen and called to be a spiritual and not a carnal combatant. We are mandatory and obliged to fight spiritual warfare; fighting the good fight of faith and fighting for the house and the people of God through constant intercessory and supplicating prayers, contending for the truth once delivered to the saints.                                   No believer or any Christian soldier is expected to be a casualty or a prisoner of war to the flesh, devil, demons and world, if he fights in righteousness – if he will stand fast in the libertywherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. None should make a mock or play with sin while he engages for the Lord if he hopes not to be disgraced by demons and gates of hell. ‘Let them that call on the name of God departs from iniquity’. The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness’. Proverbs 11:6. As a lion is comely and unstoppable in his going, even so in Christ Jesus is a believer seemly unstoppable and empowered by the Spirit of God to do valiant things through his Lord, who shall tread down all his enemies – through thee will we push down our adversaries: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us. Psalms 44:5. Psalms 60:5. Revelation 5.                                                                                                                                                                       
    
   In the book of Genesis chapter 3, where we first learnt about the universal fall of man to the book of Revelation where those that finally made it to the end were given the right to eat from the fruit of the tree of life as the reward of their obedient life to the word of God and commandments of Christ, there are countless records of deliverance from different trials and tribulations. These people are known and called the over-comers: that is, they triumphed over difficulties and different temptations – never allowed anything to come between them and their loyalty and sincere love for God – not even death, but they were faithful, even unto death.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               The word deliverance is not limited to the casting out of demons and freedom from demonic possessions and oppression as many may think or say. Deliverance is a vast subject of a great dimension which must be carefully considered and guarded from any further error which may lead to bondage in order to maintain a healthy spiritual growth in a progressive walk with the Lord; for the Lord will deliver his Israel from all troubles. Psalms 25:22.                                                                                                                                                 
    
   V. Man was created to live forever according to God’s original plan as long as he continue to obey by restraint from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, but because of his sin which was deceitfully orchestrated by Satan, he died spiritually. God in his love for man brought in the second Adam, known as the seed of the woman, which is Christ Jesus, to save the offspring of the first Adam from the grip of Satan.                                                                                                                                                                Most importantly, man must first be delivered from the eternal death which is before him. Though he is already dead spiritually (dead in sin and trespasses. Genesis 2:17) Christ died to give him a new spiritual life and to bring him back to God in his (Christ) righteousness, to raise him back from the dead, alive to God in him, that he should not die again.                                                                                                                                                    Salvation from eternal death or eternal condemnation is the greatest deliverance accomplished for man on the cross through Christ death – having abolished death (second death) and brought immortality (eternal life) and life (new- resurrected spiritual life) to light through the gospel. 2 Timothy 1:10.                                                                                                                                              Man was sold to Satan and the unregenerate man is Satan’s prisoner by sin, (thus says the Lord, where is the bill of your mother’s divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away. Isaiah 50:1) technically destined for hell, seeing he was removed from the presence of God and sent out of Eden. But the Lord rich in mercy sent his only begotten son, not to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved from the evil of sin, and from the evil one (Satan) in the world. The Lord taught us to pray daily for deliverance from evil. From this pattern of our Lord’s Prayer, it is easier to see that deliverance is a life time process….lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil- sufficient unto each day is the evil thereof – and the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. 2 Timothy 4:18.                                                                                                                                                  Just like Daniel was not aware that there was a battle going on in the realm of the spirit for twenty one days over his spiritual life for the answer to his petitions before God, and for the revelation and information Satan was fighting to withhold from him, even so are countless battles the angels of God engages everyday on behalf of the saints without their knowledge – angels of God encamps round about them that fears him, and delivers them in safeties and victories unaccounted over life’s struggles and battles, they are those daily benefits God filled them with every waking day of their lives. Psalms 34:7. Psalms 68:19.                                                 There are lots of angelic spiritual movement and displacement, and numerous battles going on in the second heavens and on earth (invisibly, except your eyes are opened to see) twenty four- seven between the demons (fallen angels known as evil spirits committed to Satan agenda in the kingdom of darkness) and the loyalist holy angels of God (the ministering spirits sent to minister to the children of God, saved and washed by the blood of Christ) to keep and protect believers, especially those that are really engaged and committed for the Lord in intercessory warfare, soul winning outreaches and deliverance ministrations. Hebrews 1:14. God’s holy angels are for the protection of the saints, and they always behold the face of God in heaven for his command, instruction and assignment concerning believers by conveying private spiritual messages and delivering packages of blessings to the saints, which does not always go smoothly because of the opposition from the fallen angels on earth working for the kingdom of darkness; but with the persistent prayer of the saints, they will definitely prevail against any spiritual hurdle or barrier. Oh how sweet for men to pray always and not to faint even as the Lord instructed! Luke 18:1.                                                                                                                              
    
   Vi. Believers are set up for a glorious body, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. We are awaiting another descent of the Lord Jesus from heaven; but this time around, it’s not in any way similar to his first condensation in his condensation when he put on the nature of man (flesh and blood) to die for us. This second coming of Christ is going to be with great glory and power, along with the voice of arc angel to take the dead and the living saints to heaven by the operation of the power of the world to come that presently dwells is us: to transform or put away the vile (mortal to put on immortality body) body so that it may be fashioned like unto our Lord glorious body, according to the working (Holy Spirit) whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. It’s no surprised Apostle Paul met certain brethren at Ephesus and he asked them- have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed because he has a great role in this glorification process to play! Acts 19:1-2. Christ accomplished victory on the cross to give us deliverance from (1) spiritual death. (2) Physical death and (3) eternal death, so that man can become dead to sin in crucifixion with Christ to gain eternal life. Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he (Christ) also took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Hebrews 2:14-15. ‘I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead (physical death) yet shall he live (eternal life). And whosoever lives and believeth in me shall never die (second death). Believes thou this? John 11:25-26). Note: just as first parents disobeyed God in the Garden and they died spiritually, even so shall all them that refused to accept and obey God’s propitiation for sin in Christ Jesus as the word that became flesh and dwelled among us shall die eternally. Spiritual death (dead in sins and trespasses) is the cause of the second or eternal death. If you are not saved and be made to die to sin (Romans 6:2: Romans 8:11-12) through the indwelling Spirit of God, it is obvious that you will not make the first resurrection – the foregone conclusion of your participation in the second resurrection for imminent second death.                                                                                                                                                                  Apostle Paul wrote in one of his epistle on what he called the sentence of death pronounced on believers. ‘But we had the sentence of death in ourselves that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raises the dead: who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us’’. This is Satan’s verdict and induction on mankind – death. Nonetheless, God hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the Lord behold the earth; to hear the groaning of the prisoner; to lose those that are appointed to death; to declare the name of the Lord in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem; when the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the Lord. He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days. I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations. Psalms 102:19-24. 2 Corinthians 1:9-10. Isaiah 50:1.                                                                                                                                                                Christ is the life that nullifies death in all its ramification on mankind – I am the way, the truth and life – to guide our feet into the way of peace, and to deliver us unceasingly from the first born of death (sin), and from the instruments of death, and from the snare of death, and from the shadow of death, and from the gates of death, and from the dust of death, and from the snare of death, and from the terror of death, and from the chambers of death; and from the fear of death, and from death itself (for the last enemy that shall be destroyed is death) having conquered and destroyed Satan that has the power of death.                                                                                                                                                                The moment a sinner is born- again, there is an angel of protection called ‘personal angel’ assigned by God (for he shall give his angels charge to keep you in all your ways) appointed and given charges to direct and to keep the heir of salvation in all his ways till he get to heaven. Matthew 18:10. Acts12:15.                                                                                                                                                    It is possible that an individual believer is provided with more protection and ministering pr communication with the angels of God above others according to his consecration, his battles and assignments before the Lord. Let us know that greater responsibilities and commitments before the Lord provoke greater oppositions from the enemy, but also it also arouse o call forth many more angels on mission from God for his safety with increase protection, and increasing grace and power and greater accountability as well –whosoever is much is given, much shall be required of him. Matthew 4:11. Mathew 26:35.                                                                                                                                        
    
   There should be no bargaining chip with Satan. We don’t have any deal with him than to authoritatively claim our rights from the cross of Calvary through Christ blood. We are not called to play it cool or safe with Satan for the kingdom of heaven suffers violence. We are not called to be frightened by demonic hallucinations and attacks whatsoever, though they fight against us, but they shall never prosper nor prevail. For no reason should we become afraid or slack to shy away from complete consecration to the Lord, because the enemy will fight with all kinds of distraction to prevent us from attaining the state of total surrender and self – abandonment. Sometimes, determination to consecrate to the Lord intensifies the confrontations and resistance we have to endure from the enemy, but the progress we make by courageous efforts to give and abandon ourselves completely to the Lord increases his power and glory which will make us an agent of his presence carrier and manifestation. Because of the fore in us, we unconsciously become an enemy number one and trouble maker to the kingdom of darkness for the good fruit that such consecrated life is bringing to the kingdom of God and for its positive effects to change lives.                                                                                                                                         Be steady and keep up or keep going in the state of your spiritual fervour or fervency is for your advantage – fervent in spirit, serving the Lord. This attitude of faith in consecration would determine individual’s altitude in spiritual life and the post or place to be in the Lord’s fight or battle field. Some believers are not able to overcome personal battles, how then can they be eligible for deployment to the war front for the Lord’s battle? Where shall the grace and strength be found for personal evangelism, praying and laying hands on the sick, casting out demons etcetera! If your attitude is not in conformity to the standard set by God to the position you are raised up and seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, far above principalities and powers, you’d better think twice, because you’ll be making yourself a testing ground for evil arrows and different spiritual problems. You will also be at risk before the Lord who is likely to vomit (put out or eject from a place) for slothfulness and lack of fervency to serve him in your lukewarm spirit.                
    
   Recently, I was at the Mission Timothy (Nimes) for the bible study, and on our way back to the car, Mr. Tony’s wife made a grateful comment to God that at first, she thought that by giving herself without reservation to the Lord’s cause, she will lose everything, but the truth of her experience after almost thirty five years together with her husband in the Lord, both of them can testify that they have nothing to lose, but has found all things to be for their joy, peace and assurance of eternal salvation. We have nothing to lose but everything to gain if we give ourselves unreservedly to the God of our salvation –whosoever will save his life, shall lose it, but whosoever will lose his life, the same shall save it.                                                                                                                                       The enemy will always come to attack when we least expected; but, even at our unguarded hour, but the ministering spirits are also positioned to defend and to deliver us from any demonic attack and harassment. Psalms 44:4.                                                                                                   By this I know that thou favour me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me. We are not called to be defeated, disappointed, failed and be put to shame in Christ Jesus as long as the believer is living the abiding life and walking in the light of the scriptures to keep him from the paths of the destroyer to be delivered times without number from six troubles; yea in seven, there shall no evil befall him; for the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord, he is their strength in the times of trouble.                                                                                                                                                        Because The Lord has promised to shut and silence the mouth of the wicked in darkness, it is up to the believer to ponder the paths of his feet and establish them in the ways of the Lord, to be guided continually by his Holy Spirit for his continual triumphant songs of deliverance – thou art my hiding place, thou shall preserve me from troubles and shall compass me about with songs of deliverance. The Lord is his strong confidence and habitation or dwelling place to which he can always return or run for covering and for re-treat, and to refresh and reload, and to reignite. Job 5:19. Psalms 32:7. Psalms 41:11.                                                                                                                               
    
   A believer can cry or weep for his sin or for the scriptures of correction in contrition of spirit; but it is weird for a soldier to cry at battle in the face of gun bullet’s exchange like a child can cry out for fear or for attention. It is a sin of fear, self -pity and of insecurity for any believer to shed emotional tears out of a panic spirit like the servant of the Prophet did when he woke up and looked through the window and saw that their house has been surrounded by the armies of the Syrians who has come to arrest his master the prophet. He cried out to his lord, alas, my master, what shall we do? And his master prayed and asked the Lord to open his eyes to see beyond the natural, and when that happened, he saw a great number of angels around them with chariots of fire which was superior to the chariots of flesh brought by the enemies for their arrest. 2 Kings 6: 8-17. Note: the divine protection and spiritual power, greatness and superiority of a redeemed believer to defeat and put the armies of the aliens to flight are of no exaggeration and of no little means. God’s power within us is called ‘the exceeding greatness of his power towards us which believes’ and should never be limited or compared to the lesser forces of darkness from the high places because of our position in Christ Jesus: God, having raised us above them in heavenly places, where we are seated with Christ. Our fortress and defensive structure is impenetrable. The enemy’s attacking us from the air, land, sea, forest, cemetery, wilderness, mountain, sea, mountain and valley and wherever the enemy may suggest or determine as the best place to position and to wage his war to attack us, either in the day or night are useless as long as our life is hid with God in Christ Jesus.                                                         The earth is the Lord and the fullness therein, the sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. Jehovah in us is mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea. The Lord on high is mighty than the voice of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea to break the enemy’s bow and shatters their spear, and to burn their shields with fire. Amen! 1 Kings 20: 23-28.                                                                                                                                                        
    
   Vii. Believer is delivered from the power of Satan unto God. Acts 26:18.                                                Deliverance is the undoing and reversing the past evil works of Satan, and to preserve it from the present attacks and destructive schemes, and to ensure the future redemption of the body, the fulfilments of the scriptures that Christ is able to save to the end them that come to God through him, seeing he lives forever to intercede for them. ‘And I will encamp about mine house because of the army (strangers) because of him that passes by, and because of him that returns: and no oppressors shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes. Zachariah 9:8. Hebrews 7:25. The presence of the devil in the world having great wrath is a called to make peace with God through Christ Jesus for his abiding presence to lodge with us that we might enjoy to live continually in his incomprehensible perfect peace amidst the chaos and confusion in the world of darkness (now may the God of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. 2 Thessalonians 3:16) by the power of his Spirit in us to defend us by raising up his standard in us as against the fury of the oppressor and gates of hell that are let loosed against the inhabitant of the world, especially against the blood bought children of God. If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, now may Israel say; if it had not been the Lord who was our side when men rose up against us: then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us: then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul: then the proud waters had gone over our soul. Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth. Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth. Psalms124.
    
   Deliverance is the spiritual migration and translation from the kingdom and power of Satan into the kingdom of God and the power and authority of his Christ. Deliverance is an exceptional state of security for the purchase possessions of God in Christ Jesus. It is the mark of their identity and immunity; not from trials, troubles of the world, and temptations; but for their continuous victory and salvation to the end. O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsted for thee, my flesh longs for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; to see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. This is the life giving power of the Holy Spirit given in the form of grace to empower believer to walk with God that he might function effectively to fulfil divine pleasure and purposes. Psalms 63:1-2. Zachariah 4:6-7.                                                                                     There are two kingdoms that are spiritually operating on earth and are looking for citizens and inhabitancy to populate. As for the kingdom of God and heaven, the candidates must be spiritually rigorous, spiritually violent, staunch, faithful and obedient to the word of God by living the gospel life in order to emulate the lifestyles of Christ and to gain the price tag-heaven. As for the kingdom of darkness, all it’s required from his candidates is to live sensually and carnally for themselves and to be rebellious to God’s truth and light in self-willed, loving pleasures, filled with different kinds of unrighteousness and ungodly lifestyles only to be cast at the end into the lake of fire prepared for Satan and his demons-eternal perdition.                                                                                                                                                      The power of God is an ultimate, incontestable, irresistible and legitimate and eternal. Power belongs to God. The power possesses by Satan was for a short period of time, partially permitted and temporal and limited in operation for a short period of time to sever the righteous from the wicked and lovers of truth from lies. ‘And then shall that wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness’. 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12.                                                                                                                              Through the word of God, the Holy Spirit operates in power to bring situations under control and to regulate all things according to the counsel of God’s own will. Every (good or bad) happening in our lives is within the scope of divine will, counsels and permission. Though the devil and the power of darkness should not be over-estimated; neither should they be under-estimated; as men should give glory to God who is above all, whose kingdom rules over all. If our heart is perfect towards God, he will always prove himself strong on our behalf and will never fail us. ‘But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name’. The power of God instantly resides actively in each and everyone who believes in a little measure. As we walk constantly in the spirit, we shall grow in the strength and power of that same Spirit which was wrought in Christ when God raised him from the dead, far above the principalities and powers and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come for triumphant experiences and testimonies of the exceeding greatness of that power. Ephesians 1:16-21.                                                                                                                                                   The demonstration of spiritual (resurrection) power is the right of every children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. People should stop attributing greatness and might to Satan when dedicated and prayerful Spirit filled men and women of God are demonstrating the Spirit and power of the kingdom. ‘And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all’. If you don’t know the scriptures and has never experience the power of God manifesting through your life, you’d better keep your mouth shut and ask him for the demonstrations of his power through you by fasting and prayer. The kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. Acts: 4:33. 1 Corinthians 4:20.                                                                                                                                       Apostle Paul desired and prayed that the believers might know the ‘exceeding greatness’ of God’s power in Christ Jesus toward us that believed. In essence, he desired to show us the need to have a personal and unique experience and affirmation of that same mighty power that raised our Lord Jesus from the dead which has taken up his residence in our mortal body.                                                                         Without the power of God, regeneration or the new creation cannot be experienced and there shall not be any godly fruit of repentance to show forth to the glory of God – it is the spirit that quickens the flesh profits nothing. The power of God is a treasure in an earthen vessel deposited and meant to shield and defend the believer from demonic missiles and whatever attacks from the gates of hell. Holy Spirit resides in us as a defence and at the same time serves as covering and shield to hinder and prevent the anger and evil efforts and plans of Satan and his demonic forces against our lives which the bible calls ‘the token of the liars’, so that the praises and the testimony of the power might be of God and not of man. The presence of the spirit of God in us immunize and renders our body, soul and spirit impenetrable against demonic weapons and attacks, serving as divine missile defence system. There is not going to be any visible changes as regarding the fruit of the spirit, neither the confirmation of the testimony of Christ in a believer that professes his name and relationship with him without the presence of this wonder working power in them – if any man have not the spirit of Christ, he is none of his.                                                                                                                                                                This is a great mystery: though, God is seated on his throne in the heavens, but he dwells in us as his holy temple on earth. We are also on earth, but are raised and seated with him in heavenly places and the place of our defence shall be the munitions of rocks, where we shall be fed sustained continually with the bread of life besides the rivers of the living waters springing up without failure. He is ever present in us as the Omnipresence – the man of war to fight our battles while we sleep or awake. Are not our enemies his enemies? Has he not inscribed us on the palms of his hands? Has he not created the smith that blows the coals in the fire, and he brings forth an instrument for his work; and has created the waster to destroy, how dare would he ever permits any of the instruments of destruction he has made to prosper against him in our lives? Are we not his vineyard, and has not spoken to keep a watch day and night on us? In that day sing you unto her, a vineyard of red wine. I the Lord do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day. Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together. Or let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me. Isaiah 27: 2-5.                                                                                                                                                
    
   Believer’s repentance and turning away (confess and forsake iniquity. Proverbs 28:13) from sin and conversion to God through salvation in Christ Jesus is the beginning of his presence (entrance to the presence rest of God) peace and the way to his eternal rest in his presence and long lasting relationship with God. It is the commencement of his pilgrim journey to heaven, and of his spiritual athlete race to eternity, and of his spiritual warfare as combatant to win the kingdom of heaven. It is the starting point of his spiritual contention for the faith once delivered to the saints – to keep and defend the truth to the end – O Jesus, I have promised to serve thee to you end; be thou forever near me, my master and my friend; I shall not fear the battle if thou art by my side, nor wander from the pathway if thou wilt be my guide.                                                                                                                                            It is not over until it’s all over when the Lord will say, come up higher.                                          When the Philistines learnt that David was anointed king over Israel, they gathered to fight him. Let it dawn on you that the moment you become a child of God, the real battle against you from the oppressors will start; but with time, God will bring you to the experience of Baal-Perazim where he will totally break forth against your enemies backbones that thy rise should not rise up again. 2 Samuel 5:20.                                                                                               Though, David slew the first Goliath, there were other wars against four other giants which fell by the hand of David and by the hands of his servants, as there were many open and hidden confrontations from the enemies like the Perritites, Hittites, Amorites and the Jebusites which are the haters of David’s soul; they can be enormous in size and strength: but it is written; Happy are thou, O Israel: who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, the shield of your help and the sword of your victory: and your enemies shall be found as liars unto you, and you will tread upon their high places. Deuteronomy 33:29. 2 Samuel 21:15-21.                                                                                                                                   Except the Lord enlightens the eyes of our understanding through the Holy-Spirit, the teacher in us, shall we are able to know the things that are freely given us of God. There is no clergy or wise man on earth who knows the depth of Satan and of the mystery of iniquity, for those we esteem as mighty men among us sometimes fall very badly and we reasoned why, as it is written, let him that thinks he stand, take heed lest he fall. None can search to understand beyond the limits of what the Lord reveals through personal experiences or by revelations of his Spirit (which should also be in harmony with the word of God) of the intensity and fierceness of Satan’s hatred against mankind; the unending-unforeseen spiritual battles around us every day, and of the unperceived victories we walk and live in daily as well, just as the Lord sent an angel to rescue Peter from the prison of king Herod where he awaited his death sentence, but he thought it was merely a vision until it dawned on him that it was a real deliverance of protection from untimely death. Since the time of John Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. Man must be delivered from himself, and be delivered from the sin in his flesh, and be delivered from the world (by coming out of it) to keep his dominion and power given by Christ to tread over serpents and scorpions and over every power of the enemy to make heaven – having done all to stand, to keep standing. Luke 22:31-32. Acts12: 6-11.
    
   Though the past troubles are over, but there are present and future enemies and troubles because every spiritual ladder of progress and advancements has its spiritual enemies with challenging battles designed to bring us daily under the dependent and guides of Jehovanissi (the Lord my banner) trusting every moment in the underneath everlasting arms of God in Christ Jesus till we pass on into eternity where overcomers heroism and celebrity reception and celebration is prepared and awaiting us.                                                                                                                                                                                                     Whosoever is born of God overcomes the world….believer is now at liberty in Christ Jesus, but he should know that he is closely monitored and watched (not only as a spectacle to the angels, but with an ill will (unfriendliness) from the demons that are seeking for any spiritual crack to attack him (give no place to the devil) as a priority target on the enemy’s list likely to be taken out because of the enmity between the Devil and the remnant of the seed of the woman that keeps the word of God and have the testimony of Christ – the true Christians.      The curse with bitter lamentation is placed and pronounced against the inhabitants of the land and of the sea. ‘Woe unto you the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea; because the devil is come down with a great wrath, because he knows that his time is short’.                                                                                                                                                          The believer must be on constant spiritual alertness (Hushai replied to Absalom, the advice Ahithophel has given is not good this time. You know your father and his men; they are fighters, and as fierce as a wild bear robbed of her cubs. Besides, your father is an experienced fighter; he will not spend the night with the troops. 2 Samuel 17:8) for the fight for his eternal destiny, to keep himself in the love of God and in the patient waiting for the Lord to the end.                                                                                                                                                 In the Lord, the believer is at peace; but in the world, he is at spiritual war as sheep among the wolves to behave and walk wisely in a serious manner, conscious of his walk and testimony in the Lord. Are we not the beloved of the Lord? Was Joseph not the type of our Lord Jesus; even as Benjamin was to his big brother, even so are we to Christ! Is there not in us the proof of the exchange transfusion of Christ blood into our blood for the zeal of his house, and to engage in spiritual violence and ferocity like a ravenous wolf which devours his prey in the morning and in the evening divides the spoil? Are we not kept securely by the Lord – the door, through whom we have come to God? May the beloved of the Lord (church – the born again believers) dwell in safety by him; and may the Lord cover him all the day long, that he may continually dwell between his shoulders. Amen. Deuteronomy 33:12.                                                                                                                                                            As long as believer keep looking up to God by his constant and frequent presence before the presence of God’s throne for grace and to obtain mercy and to find help in the time of need, he shall receive help, sustenance and support till the heavenly Father completes what he alone has began in his life. Yes, God works in us both to will and do according to his good pleasure, but not without our co-operation to submit and yield continually to his word and Spirit’s unction in us.                                                                                                                             
    
   The whole world and its system are under Satan’s kingdom, the believer is spiritually behind the enemy’s lines, until the kingdom of this world shall visibly become the kingdom of our God and of his Christ. Demons, unclean or evil spirits or the spirit of the devils are real. They are restless with indefatigable power to operate in the world, especially in the lives of the ungodly men and sinners. Consciously or unconsciously, the unrepentant sinners and religious sinners (having a form of godliness but are denying the power thereof) are labelled by Christ as the sons and daughters of Satan fulfilling his will. Men are deceived by hardness of heart and they willingly continue in it because of the deceitfulness of sin, reward and the pleasure of iniquity. In so doing, they are ignorantly giving free and uninterrupted access and allowance to the devil to continue his habitation and operation in and through them. The believer is called out and delivered from the world, expected to keep himself unspotted from the world in godly and holy separation unto the Lord by its disassociation from pleasing sinners pleasures, ungodly and unscriptural practices, lifestyles and pursuits, abstaining from any appellations from the lusts of the flesh, and the temptations from the lusts of the eyes, and the competition and comparison alluring to the pride of life. Those things are the weapons, traps and instruments of war by the enemy against the souls purchased by Christ precious blood. Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. 1 Peter 2:11-12.                                                                                                                                                 The believer is born again unto the lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from his former state of spiritual death into his new crucified of spiritual life in Christ Jesus –dead to sin- freedom from it. Before his transformation and the power to walk in newness of life, he was held captive by Satan through his lusts and sin; but now, the battle line is drawn against his soul and against the truth, either to hold it in unrighteousness, which would be of no profit for him, or in sincerity of heart as the truth is n Christ, to sow daily to the Spirit for the harvest of eternal life afterward. Satan would be content to have and keep any believer as the broad way and the wide gate seeker in his faith, walk and lifestyles. The enemy would not exert much energy and resources to contend in any great fight against the self-seeking and self-satisfying professors of faith, assuredly that their end is destruction: broad is the way and wide is the gate leads to destruction and many thereby that walks in it. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18. Matthew 7:13-14. 1 John 2:15-17.                                                                                                                                                                                     It is required that believer is true to his cause and profession of faith faithfully, in a tough and positive mental spiritual attitude, by not giving in to any unscriptural demands upon his life, but to be strong in discernment to prevent falling from his own steadfastness, and to keep him from the errors of the wicked, that he might be presented faultless before the throne of God. 2 Peter 3:17-18.                                                                                                                                         
    
   Satan is the enemy of all mankind who is working tirelessly to destroy the world; much more to destroy believers, working to oppose every move, ways and works of the Lord in their lives on earth. 1 Thessalonians 2:18.                                                                                                                                        With God on the side of his people, all the plans and powers of Satan shall continually be frustrated that the intended purposes of God might be fully realises in the lives of his children and in the kingdom of God. It is not possible that Satan disannul what the Lord has purposed, and the demons from the gates of hell shall not be able to stop the work of the Lord’s hands, for the Lord shall work, who shall let or stop it? Isaiah 43:13.                                                                                                                                                                              The patriarchs (men and women) that are now in heaven were once faith fighters on earth. Some of them had trial of cruel mocking and scourging, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: they were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth; but refused to back down for the devil, and were delivered from all his confrontations and assaults to stop them. They made up their minds that nothing shall separate them from the love of God. Not any more, we are not saved to be victimized by the devil, but saved to serve God without fear of what Satan or man shall against us as we continue to serve our heavenly father acceptably with reverence and godly fear.                                                                                                                                                     It is the will and pleasure of God that the oppressor (and in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely. Hosea 2:18) should cease in the life of his children, that they should walk in complete liberty and be filled with power to rule over the enemy that has once ruled over them; and to take them captive, whose captive they had once being, even power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over every power of the enemy in the world. They are now delivered that they might also deliver others from the bondage of sin and from the power of darkness and from whatsoever evil limitations placed upon men by Satan. ‘Peace be unto you. As my Father has sent me, even so have I sent you’. John 20:21.                                                                                                                            
    
   viii. Deliverance is the freedom from the law of sin and death given through the power of the Spirit of God for believers to reign in life with Christ through his righteousness and to rule in the midst of his enemies by the power of God: as it is written, your people shall be willing in the days of your power. The kingdom of God is not in talk, but in power. These people are called and saved to show forth the resurrection power, glory and the righteousness of the kingdom of God as they serves the Lord in righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. For their sake was the Lord condemned and delivered unto death, and was raised again by the glory of God the Father, that they might be delivered to live and walk in righteousness and in true holiness. Romans 14:17. Psalms 110:1-3. 1 Corinthians 4:20.                                                                                                                                               Believers are not redeemed with corruptible things such as gold and silver from the vain conversations of life received from their forefathers, but by the precious blood of the Lamb shed for them before the foundation of the world has he purchased them to become the children of God. They were not delivered to live in sin any longer, if they will activate the power within them (John 1:12-13) to keep walking in the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus which is intercommunicate through manifesting the fruit of the Spirit to set them free from the law of sin and death, (against such things there is no law of sin of the works of the flesh and the law of sin that can be proven right against those who are walking in the Spirit. Galatians 5:23) so that their offerings might go up to God from sanctify and cleanse vessels, even as they grows together in unity into an holy temple in the Lord.                                                                                                                                                    The decoration of evil (yoke of sin) must be completely taken away from the genuinely repentant sinner’s neck, while the sentence and the consequences thereof (evil burdens) be removed from the prisoner’s shoulder by the anointing of the Holy Spirit in exchange for the easy yoke and the light burden which the Lord Jesus has prepared for all them that come to him for rest.                                                                                                                             True deliverance and rest from God is found in the liberty from sin. None is truly delivered, who continue to walk, live and to manifest any of the works of the flesh whatsoever – log or beam, speck or mote: if not, it is the signal (hypocrisy) of an incomplete deliverance and the red flag that there are still strangers (evil spirits) responsible for the works of the flesh hiding in their close places. Not an inch of space should be given to Satan; if not, he will lay claim on the whole apartment (the body) because a single demon will bring in the company of seven other demons into their victims.                                                                                                                   The purpose and effect of a true deliverance is in the fruit of its productivity (I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Romans 6:19-22) and in the freedom from the inherited fallen and corrupt nature to a new creature of a resurrected life in Christ Jesus with power to subdue the indwelling corruption of sins through the purifying and purging effects of the Spirit’s works for sanctification and holiness in the transformation wrought upon believer’s heart and life to purify his heart from any double mindedness as one elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:2&22.                                                                                                                                         
    
   ix. The word became flesh, and dwelled among us, and we saw his glory, the glory as of the only begotten Son of God full of grace and truth – Christ has restored the lost glory of God man was created to manifest, that we might be glorified in him as well, and at the end, to bring many sons unto glory. God is our glory and lifter up our heads who has called us unto his eternal glory in Christ Jesus – whosoever believes in him shall not be put to shame. Shame is given presently and reserved for sinners throughout all eternity – it is the promotion of fools, but Christ has delivered us from the shame and reproach of sin. Proverbs 3:35.                                                                                                                                                       God has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him; having set us free and has called us unto glory and virtue according as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2 Peter 1:3-4.                                                                                                                                                                                                                        There is no more sinful and shameful walk or deeds in Christ Jesus for them who are truly delivered and called out of darkness into his marvellous light. They shine as lights in the world through the righteousness of the spirit that exceeds in glory of the new covenant church – the glory of the latter house. God has given us a new name and identity in his Son (children of God by faith in Christ Jesus) through the forgiveness of sins and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in him, that the glory we lost through Adam’s sin should be restored in Christ Jesus thorough the ministration and lifestyles of righteousness that exceeds in glory – we are now crowned with glory and honour in Christ Jesus, just like Adam and Eve were before the fall.
    
   Poverty or barrenness and whatever the world considers or sees as shameful and contempt of an unaccomplished or unfulfilled life is no reason for shame in an upright life in Christ Jesus: but sin (better is a little with righteousness than great income with injustice. Proverbs 16:8) is the greatest reproach to any person with a bearing a lasting shame of eternal humiliation- the second death. God has given Christ Jesus to the world, to bless us from turning everyone from his iniquities. It is the greatest blessing of all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus that we should live and walk in the glory of Christ righteousness on earth, looking for and hasting for the day of God when we shall be glorified together with Christ our hope of eternal glory. 1 Peter 4:12-16.                                                                                                                                                      It is the sinners who have no shame, but they blindly and ignorantly boast, glory and rejoice in it. They make excuses on situations and circumstances to sin and blame others for their failure not to awake to righteousness to avoid sin. There is no evil hearted Balak or Balaam with the power of divination who is capable to turn the glory of the children of God into shame, or curse their blessings, as long as they keep walking in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake, to deprive a man of justice in the presence of God, to defraud a man in his lawsuit– of these things the Lord does not approve. The Lord will not be slacked to reprimand any agent of Satan as he rebuked the covetous and evil Balaam and Balaak of old and stopped them from cursing the children of Israel because ‘he has not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither has he seen perverseness in Israel; the Lord is God is with him, and the shout of a King is among them. Numbers: 23:21. 1 Corinthians 15:34.
    
   The reproach of sin is the negative effect of it on God’s holy name we sabotage by our iniquity to incur damages to the good legacy and testimonies of many years of diligent labour of love, and work of faith in the Lord, if we do not look diligently, lest we fail of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble any one to be defiled therein. Care should be taken against sin because it will make a laughingstock of any man before the world and before the enemies of our Lord who constantly mark the steps of the righteous and watches for iniquity to prove that the righteous ways of life are false and impossible. The world is already saying, ‘what think you of them, we are all the same, they are just bunches of hypocrites and liars, laying heavy burdens grievous to be borne on men’s shoulders, but they themselves would not move them with one of their fingers’.
    
   Except we give room for the Holy Spirit to work through us in the circumcision of the heart that we might love to obey willingly, and to fear the Lord in the singleness of heart to influence the world around us into the kingdom, others will not be encouraged to come and taste of the goodness of our God, and they shall spend eternity in reproaches that shall never be taken away because of our inexcusable carnal and worldly indulgence after we have known the truth. Nehemiah 5:9. Isaiah 29:20-21.                                                                                                                                     
    
   From the book of Joshua chapter 5 verses 9, we come across the word ‘reproach’ when the Lord commanded Joshua to circumcise the children of Israel again after the river of Jordan was cut off and were all crossed over. There he made a covenant and a statement that ‘this day have I removed the reproach of Egypt from you’ – deliverance from the reproach of Egypt. Joshua 5:1-9.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        
    
   The reproach of Egypt is the ignorance and shame of serving lesser god (s) who cannot deliver from bondage. It was their servitude to the men of this world, as people born to be slaves, and have lived as slaves, and were expected to die as slaves: but then were visited by God and miraculously delivered, redeemed and bought into covenant relationship with him. Though the enemy is resisting the manifestations of the promises, will and glory of God in his people, but the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence. And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the day time from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain’. Isaiah4:5- 6.
    
   X. There should be a complete restoration of inheritance; while some parts are given now for the present stewardship on earth, the rest of our true riches in Christ are reserved for us in heaven for complete restoration of the purchased possession and inheritance: as it is written, the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. God health is our right and inheritance in Christ Jesus, surely he has borne our grief. Deliverance is the healing of the body from physical illness, recovering from the infirmities of the flesh to wholeness and soundness of the body and spirit; as it is written, he brought them out of Egypt and there was not one feeble person among their tribes. Psalms 105:37.                                                 The bible speaks about the sword, bow, arrows and the string, pit or snares, nets, hands, counsels, desire, devises, power, tongue, teeth, mouth and the horns of the wicked.                    These are evil spiritual weapons of attacks by the oppressors to captivate and destroy man’s destiny and entire life. Those strange and undiagnosed sicknesses and diseases are the results of the oppression of Satan which some are calling as the arrows of witchcraft – the demonic arrows of affliction through the power of Satan. We see a good example to this from the case of the woman bound for eighteen years by Satan; who could not walk, according to Christ own word. There is healing balm in Zion, the city of our great God. It is true that men and the creatures and the whole creation are in spiritual captivity; but the good news is that these are the days of God’s power and the years of liberty and jubilee for mankind from the bondages of Satan’s imprisonment. There is comfort for the afflicted and oil for healing from the deadly wounds inflicted from the poisonous bites of the old dragon’s bite. ‘For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord; because they called thee an outcast, saying, this is Zion, whom no man seeks after’. Jeremiah 30:17. Luke13:16.                                                                                                                        Before the arrival of Christ into the world to accomplish our redemption on the cross, Prophets Obadiah and Joel prophesied and announced this so called great and wonderful salvation through the Spirit of God in them, that ‘upon Mount Zion there shall be deliverance and holiness, and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions’. Obadiah 1:17. Joel 2:28-32.                                                                                                                                                              
    
   The devil is a pathological liar and an unrelenting looser, always working and trying by all means possible to lure and steal the heart of man away from God. He would not give up stealing, killing and destroying, but as sheep capable to discern the voice of the thief from the voice of the good Shepherd; we shall continue to escape his deception and lying spirits and voices. Similar to what he did for king Nebuchadnezzar, God shall restore former privileges and position of authority and influences, if we go low in humility before him: like Job, God will abundantly restore every lost blessings and former glory, and whatsoever Satan has stolen from us, and to turn back every captivity. God’s pleasure is to restore whatsoever we’ve lost or stolen from us by the enemy, revealing abundance of peace and truth unto us.
    
   Sometimes, the Lord instruct us to rectitude a situation or return an unlawful property back to the rightful owner before he works restoration in us. We see this with king Abimelech who has taken Sarah Abraham’s wife for himself. God smote him and his household with sickness, but later reprimand and instruct him to give Sarah back to her husband who in return should pray for the restoration of health and peace for him and his entire household.
    
   Restitution must be an act inspired by the Holy Spirit to bring the praises of the transformational power of God into focus. Restitution has the power to influence and provoke the conversion of the offended or injured people, if they have not known the Lord. Restitution is also a fruit of repentance, but if we don’t have the substance or material to give back, but are led to apologize to the person wronged in the past, it’s okay. The key word here is to be led by the Spirit of God and convinced to make restitution; beside that, we are washed, sanctified, justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God who justify the ungodly. In my own case, I was led to apologise to some old ladies traders from whom I have stole bundle of cigarettes in the past. Some of them received back the sum I offered as restitution while some blessed the Lord for my life and demanded I should introduce their sons and daughters to my the church where my life was changed. You have to be careful and wise, not because of fear of justice, but to be sure this is what the Lord expects you to do before your restitution lands you in jail. By the way, if it is the will of God to go to prison because of your restitution, it means that the Lord want to use your testimony at the prison for other prisoners.
    
   In Christ Jesus, all debts owed and sins committed were paid for on the cross. Renouncing and denouncing unfruitful works of darkness are also fruit of repentance to clear ourselves before the Lord for his restorative works and blessings to take full effect in our lives. Holding on to any accursed object will hinder and obstruct the restoration process and would likely prolong spiritual imprisonment and captivity. ‘Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halted, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame. At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, says the Lord. Zephaniah 3:19-20. There is no limitation to what God is desirous to do in our lives. It is of the Lord to dispossess the enemy before us that we may possess and receive the blessings of Abraham, even as he will chose our inheritance for us. It is the believer’s responsibility to lay claims on the Lord’s promises through imploration and supplicating prayers, and by his constant reasoning on what the bible says before the Lord in every conversation. If inheritance are lost as the consequence of transgressions and spiritual negligence, but we bear the chastening of the Lord patiently and profit thereby, we shall be eligible to reclaim our inheritance back through prayer of restoration — he shall make his prayer unto God, and he shall hear him, and light shall shine unto his ways and shall be fully restored and blessed. Job 22:27. Once the slave is set at liberty, the law gives him the permission to depart with his belongings from his old master. The Devil knows this scripture quite well, but as a grand and unrepentant thief, the opposite is always the case with him. The only language he understands is spiritual violence through forceful or persistence means of prevailing prayer for deliverance of goods from the warehouse of the enemy; this is one of the principles of the kingdom’s violence. The Devil knows that you are now saved, but he will continue to fight and seek to deprive you of the blessings of your inheritance in Christ Jesus, and to keep you under unlawful and unnecessary sufferings and lacks, obstructing you to compromise and to bow down to him for those things which are rightly yours by inheritance through redemption in the blood of Christ as an heir of God and co-​heir with Christ; but the Lord God is a sum and shield, giving grace and glory, no good thing will he withhold from them that walks uprightly — the soul of the righteous shall never famished. What shall a man give in exchange for his soul? O you child of God, wait on your master until your heavens break forth to rejoice like Zebulun in thy going out; and, like Issachar, in thy tents; when you shall call your neighbours unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness, for you shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand. Deuteronomy 33:18.
