And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privacy to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: to whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you. Galatians 2:4-5.
Hear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at his word; your brethren (false brethren) that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, let the Lord be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed. Isaiah 66:5.
Next to fulfilling the Father’s interest is Christ intent, pursuit and dedication to defend the cause and the interests of his brethren in heaven, and presently on earth, and throughout all eternity. For their sakes he lay his life down that they might live: for them he is seated at the right hand of God in heaven as a faithful and merciful high priest in things pertaining to God. From the scripture, we’ve heard Christ speaks of ‘whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it was better for him that a millstone was hanged about his neck, and that he was drowned in the depth of the sea.’, or ‘little children, yet a little while I am with you. You shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you’. These are his brethren with whom he identifies with their plight, suffering, affliction and infirmities: in all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity, he redeemed them; and he bares them, and carried them all the days of old. Isaiah 63:9.
Christ love and care for his brethren’s indicate to us that any good or bad deed done to any of them is indirectly done unto him. Sin against his brethren is a sin against Christ himself. 1 Corinthians 8:12. The acceptance or rejection of any of his brethren is the same as if you receive or reject Christ altogether. Many shall be justified, rewarded and admitted to heaven or be condemned to hell because of their good or evil treatments and relation with Christ little ones – in as much as you have done it to any of this little ones in my name, you have done it unto me. Matthew 25:34-46.
Christ daily care, honor, prestige, glory, worth and value he confer on his brethren should serve as a precautionary warning and measure not to despise, misuse or maltreat of any them, but to beg God for a strong discernment of spirit from the sound knowledge of the scriptures to fend off against the dangers of the presence of false brethren in the church, lest we generalize the good as the bad, and to miss the good things God intends for us from his faithful brethren (Colossians 1:2) because of the works of the evil men who has subtly mingle themselves with the genuine children of the kingdom.
The Lord clearly discloses that his true brethren are those who listen to the word of God and practice them (Luke 8:21): you are of God, little children, and have overcome them because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world (I know your works, and your labor, and your patience, and how you cannot bear them which are evil: and you have tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and has found them liars. Revelation 2: 2): therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God: he that knows God hears us; he that is not of God hears not us. Hereby we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 1 John 4:4-6. Note: increasing spiritual brokenness in submission to the truth by bringing every thought into captivity unto the obedience of Christ to grow increasingly in the knowledge of the word of God for the defense and proclamation of truth in obedience to the faith among all nation s for his name is the first proof of a genuine believer – his continuation in the word of God to be rooted, grounded and established in the present truth of the gospel (if you continue in my word, you shall be my disciples indeed. John 8:31) is the reaffirmation of his true relationship and fellowship with God and Christ – beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1.
The word ‘Christ brethren’ is not referring to his brethren in the flesh – the Jewish people who once rejected their Savior and slew him (Matthew 27:25) even as it is not all that came out of Abraham’s loins are his legitimate children (not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:  neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, they which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. Romans 9:6-8), so in the same scriptural and spiritual point of view is that all men on earth are not children of God just because we they all have the breath of life from his nostril to be (for it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are allegories: for these are the two covenants; the one from the Mount Sinai, which gendered to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and answered to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. For it is written, rejoice, thou barren that bear not; break forth and cry, thou that travails not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband. Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. Galatians 4:22-29) unless we receive the renewing of his spirit through repentance from sin to be born again of water and of the Spirit by the regeneration of the incorruptible seed of the word of God for divine nature – the new creature in Christ Jesus (he came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:11-13. 1 Peter 1:23) to be counted as God’s children, and as the true brethren of Jesus Christ – behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not. 1 John 3:1. John 3:1-7.
 
They are the foolish believers who build their house on the sand: they heard the word of Christ, but cast it behind them. They are the unjust, unholy, unrighteous and abominable in the way, but Christ reward is with him to give them according to their works. There is always a strong enmity and disgust between them and the genuine children of the kingdom – an unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked. Proverbs 29:27. If you are a crooked and manipulative believer, unstable as water, but you happens to find yourself by chance among the faithful brethren of the Lord, seek the opportunity to get serious, repent and change for better – whosoever walks with the wise shall be wise, but the companion of fools shall be destroyed (Proverbs 13:20): genuine believers should prepare the way of the Lord in their lives, making straight paths in their walk before him.  
There is nothing as good on earth as for a child of God to be in the company of his true brethren where he can found his true worth, and where he can receive constant spiritual edification, comfort of Christ love (if there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, fulfill ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.  Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteems other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Philippians 2:1-4), spiritual strengthening and other supports from the fellowship and association and assembling with the saints – love the brotherhood, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is (false brethren); but exhorting one another, and so much the more, as you see the day approaching. 1 Peter 2:17. Hebrews 10:25.  
Christ warns us to be ready for the tremendous increase of false brethren and false prophets in these last days (Matthew 24: 3-12) which is to serve as major opposition and trial against the faithfulness of the saints in their contention for the faith of God’s elects once delivered unto the saints. Jude 1:3-4.
The foreordained presence of false brethren in the church as tasteless salt good for nothing, and as lights hid under the bushel (Matthew 5:13-15) pose great challenges and dangers, both to the redeemed of the Lord, and for the sinner who is weary of his sin but are confused as to what to believe and who to trust as the results of the evil works and nuisance activities of false brethren. There is nothing so horrible and terrifying for a sheep – a true believer to be found in the synagogue of Satan among the false brethren – wolves in sheep clothing for his exposure to the risk of being injured and destroyed – the bondage and peril of false brethren. 2 Corinthians 11:9.
Under the guise or pretext of liberty which is false liberty and which indirectly leads into spiritual bondage, the false brethren live their lives anyhow without considering the outcome and effects of their unscriptural lifestyle on anybody (take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shall both save thyself, and them that hear thee. 1Timothy 4:16. Romans 14:15).
They are self willed, rebellious against the truth and foolish to the common sense: malicious, manipulative and unthankful: hard to satisfy – demanding people, whose tender mercy is cruel: an evil tree (I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, receives us not. Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbids them that would, and casts them out of the church. Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God. 3 John 1:9-11), bearing evil fruit.
The entire book of Jude gives us a broad description of these perverse men in the church. 
Verses 4; they are sexually abusive and uncontrollably like the sons of Eli of old in the temple with unusual demonic sexual desire and unlawful sexual acts with anyone who is willing to give and take – turning the grace of God into lasciviousness. You can’t tell them the truth; they will tell you not to judge them. They resent correction, reproof and instructions of life as they who love death and abides in the congregation of the dead. Proverbs 21:16.
They ignore and despises the spirit of grace and the inward works of regeneration and renewing of the Spirit of God to walk in the newness of life, chooses to walk in the flesh and to encourage sin in others, luring or seducing others to sin in the church (but now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? Do not you judge them that are within? But them that are without God judges. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. 1 Corinthians 5:11-13): they rejoices in the sin and fall of a striving believer over his besetting sin (Hebrews 12:1) and they are daughters of Moab in the church with their strange apparels and they can offer free sex to the single as well to the married to defile and destroy the church and the works of God in his people before they move onto another church to continue the same lifestyle.
Verses 7 – false brethren are sexually perverted as gay and lesbian Christians we have today in the church like the old people of Sodom and Gomorrah. Men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and women, leaving the natural use of the man, burned in their lust one toward another, women with women working that which is unseemly.
Verses 8; they defile the flesh – this could be referring to the sin of masturbation or the tattoo print which people put on the body, not the tattoos done in ignorance before conversion, but tattoo after they come to Christ.
Verses 8 b; they speak against the rulers of their people as if they have received special spiritual authority from above beyond what is written in the word of God not to do so. Instead of praying for the leaders in the government (1 Timothy 2:1-3), they judged, criticized and rebelled against the power ordained by God in order to call attention to themselves for the admiration of men. This is not the way and manner of Christ, but of the false brethren. They despised government and refused to submit themselves to various institutions authority of the nation under the covering of spirituality which is false.
Versus 11 a; woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain – they are envious and jealous with hatred against the true brethren of Christ because of the gift and operation of God in them. They are inwardly bitter for truth’s sake against the righteous stand of the true brethren of Christ Jesus, and they speak malicious word to fight them without any reason – strive not with a man without cause, if he has done thee no harm. Proverbs 3:30. 
Similar to the case of King Saul after his rejection by God, he was a false brother to David, and a false king to the nation of Israel: God, having departed from him and the Spirit of God having left him; Saul continually seek to kill David his brother without any good reason, except for his envy and bitterness he nursed against the uprightness of David’s life.  Sometimes, they will go to any length to quench the fire in you, either by spiritual attacks or by means of discouragements. 
Verses 11b; they ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward. Note: someone can once be a true disciple of Christ today, but afterward becomes a curse child who has forsaken the right way to go after the way of Balaam for reward – these are the prosperity preachers with their prosperity followers of today, supposing that gain is godliness, from such withdraw yourself. 1 Timothy 6:1-5. Obstinate and self-willed, they render the children of God vulnerable to sin by sweet words and fair speeches for money’s sake: sometimes, they turn to Satan for power to perform miracles to boost the standard of their ministry for vain glory. 2 Peter 2:3.
Miracles, signs and wonders are true the proofs of Christ resurrection power, presence and eternality (Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever): it can be as a proof and approval of a faithful servant sent by the Lord as the word preached is confirmed with signs and wonders following (and he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. Mark 16:15-20): but false miracles, signs and wonders with false prophetic utterances are also possible through the power of Satan working miracles in the church as deceitful tools by the false apostles and false brethren ( for such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15) like Simeon the sorcerer who once deceived the Samaria people that he has the great power of God; also like Bar Jesus, full of deceit and trickery, an enemy of righteousness, who was once out there to obstruct and to pervert the right ways of God in Christ Jesus. Acts 13:10.
Genuine miracles, signs and wonders are still happening today (Habakkuk 3:13), but don’t ever be deceived by any awesome prophetic revelation or utterance, miracles, signs and wonders done by anyone in the name of Christ as the proof of godliness or God’s approved messenger because many are operating under the influence of another – familiar spirit which is not the spirit of God, while they preach another gospel similar to the true gospel of Christ, presenting another Jesus before their followers or hearers. 2 Corinthians 11:4.
They betrays Christ and his cross to make themselves the enemy of the cross while they mind earthly things (Philippians 3:17-19), and they crucify Christ again to denounce the Lord that bought them by their greediness and covetousness which is idolatry – avoid them as false brethren even as the scripture gives us the commandment. Some of them may have never experienced salvation in Christ Jesus while they impose themselves into the midst of the people of God and systematically establishes themselves as a brother or servant of Christ by seizing the opportunity of the law of freedom of religion association or gathering and worship to operate. But for now, the problems, challenges and difficulties created by false brethren or ministers of the gospel are going nowhere until the Lord comes. They shall be allowed to grow and increase in their wickedness (in the place of righteousness, iniquity is found. Ecclesiastes 3:16 b) for the just recompense of reward awaiting them as the vessels of dishonor to try the heart, love and steadfastness of the true brethren of Christ in the word of God to the end. 2 Timothy 2:20. 
Verses 11 c, they shall perish in the gainsaying of Core – they are rebellious in the church and you can see them dividing the local church after fighting with the church leadership to establish theirs, not to build a better and healthy church, but to make it worst and worldly to fulfill their lusts for power, gain, self advertisement and leadership. They seek to establish political correctness in the church to control what the pastor should say or what he should not say, and they fight against the truth in the city of Jerusalem. Zachariah 8:3. They appear to be in Christ, but they are not gathering unto him while they seek to scatter his flock (also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Acts 20:30) abroad. Matthew 12:30.
They don’t edify others than to find fault (for the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off: that make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproves in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of naught.  Isaiah 29:20-21) and mistakes as the hypocrites would ignore the beam in his own eyes in an attempt to remove the speck out of his brother’s eyes. Matthew 7:5.
Just as we have genetically modified food today, the false brethren will also try to feign the fruit of the Spirit of God by their false humility, false charitable works, and false love of God with false faith in God: but when you take a closer look into their personal life, conducts and speeches, you’ll see inconsistency in the word they profess to believe and the life they are living, of grapes tree shall no one get of thorns, or figs of thistles. If they be ministers of the gospel, you’ll see a synagogue of Satan with vast numbers of unconverted sinners appearing as saints in the form of godliness, but denying the power thereof, from such turn away. 2 Timothy 3:5.
They are not in the church to serve God in spirit and truth, but they are representing and serving the interest of Satan to re-introduce and to bring the world back into the church of which God’s divine nature has given unto Christ bride all things that pertains to life and godliness through the knowledge of him who has called them to glory and virtue; that by these, they might be partakers of divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lusts. The false brethren are not faithful to the word of God (now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. Romans 16:17-18): they are not faithful with the brethren: they are not truthful and sincere to themselves by walking deceitfully, having not renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, they walk craftily. They never abide in the truth as they twist it to satisfy their own pleasures, itching ear believers under the tutorial of teacher of lies – the blind leading the blind. The preacher or teacher of lies preaches and teaches false and twisted doctrines to reproduce false brethren, themselves being false to God and their calling, and their followers and listeners also been deceitful are altogether falling under the condemnation of pernicious way (broad way and wide gate) travelers to heaven, of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. They are the accuser of the brethren: deceitful, pretenders and complainers (for there must be also heresies among you that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.1 Corinthians 11:19): the generation that is pure in their own sight, yet they are not washed from their sin. Proverbs 30:12.
Verses 12 – 13; these are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withers, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. The worst part of all this is that the unjust are shameless (Zephaniah 3:5): though, what they are doing is shameful – their ungodly walk, ungodly words and speeches, ungodly teachings, pompous and pleasure filled with ungodly lifestyles in Christ Jesus, spiritually unproductive lives which is superficially or outwardly appears to be occupy for God – well without living water, dead in sins and living against God’s will, word and purposes of the cross, but now is their ruin and utter destruction nearer than they ever realized, for God condemned them long ago, and their destruction is on the way in the darkest place of hell for their rebellion against the light, and their refusal to walk in it while they have it. John 12:35.
Whosoever is not adding to your spiritual life and growth, but likewise hindering you from your commitments and devotion to the fear of God and the love of God for increasing obedient to his word by their physical distraction of unending invitation, enticement and attraction to the worldly and secular things (1 John 2:15-17: James 4:4) should be considered as a false brother or sister because iron should sharpen iron, but not to weaken another. Proverbs 27:17. They will openly adulterate the word of God and tells you that what matters to God then doesn’t matter to him now because they are no more under the law, but are outlaw to Christ. They will hide or show hatred (Proverbs 10:18) to persecute and treat others contemptuously if they choose to tremble in total reverence to the word of God against their false testimony or interpretation of the word of God. They are called by the name of Christ, but they have never for once departed from sin, being workers of iniquity (2 Timothy 2:19 b), such as they are from the beginning, of whom the Lord will disown that he has nothing in common to do with them, and they shall be sent unto eternal destruction from the presence of the Lord. Matthew 7:21-23.
Whatever trait you can identify Satan with or relate to him can also be found in the false brethren as fruit and mark of their belonging to Satan while fulfilling the lust of their father – a boastful, murderer and betrayal, just as by his rebellion betrays God’s trust in heaven. In contrast to the faithful and true brethren of the Lord (a talebearer reveals secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit conceals the matter. Proverbs 11:13), you cannot confide any personal issues (health, family, money etc) to the confidentiality of false brethren; they will betray your trust as talebearers and gossipers (he that goes about as a talebearer reveals secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flatters with his lips. Proverbs 20:19); you should not meddle, but to separate from them as commanded by the scripture.
They are in the church to stay, but not to change (so the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, an enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, will thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. Matthew 13:27-30), and their work is to seek to change those who have once changed from the old life to a new life in Christ Jesus back to the old life or to persuade them to live in a compromise and low spiritual life and standard, instead of the resurrected life of righteousness and true holiness of those who are raised to life from the state of spiritual death – for you were sometimes darkness, but are you light in the Lord; walk as children of light. They must be exposed for whom and what they are or stands for: not having any fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather than to expose them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he says, awake thou that sleeps, and arise from the dead and Christ shall give you light. Ephesians 5: 1-14.
Apostle Paul warns the brethren at Philippians church to be careful of dogs, beware of evil workers, and beware of the concision. For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. Philippians 3:2-3. These are they who fake spirituality and godliness in the church and before the world, like any Jewish circumcise man in the flesh would claim a relationship with God (for he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: but he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. Romans 2:28-29) though he is not circumcised in his heart by the spirit of the living God to live a new life in Christ Jesus – in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision avails anything or un-circumcision, but a new creature.  Galatians 6:15. 2 Corinthians 5:17.
As a true believer in Christ Jesus, there are many things you have to overcome in the world before you get to heaven such as your flesh which is expected to be crucified with its affections and lusts. Galatians 5:24: (b) to overcome the world you are presently delivered and saved from as you are expected to practically abstain from worldliness in the lusts of the eyes, and the lusts of the flesh, and pride of life thereof. Galatians 1:4. James 1:27: (c) to overcome Satan by your persistence resistance of him whenever he brings up his tempting ideas. James 4:7: (d) and to overcome the precarious company and deception of the presence of false brethren, teachers and prophets in the church today. 
Wherever or whenever you see them, you shall know them. The false brethren are the tares among the wheat and the bad seed among the good ones. They are the little leaven that leavens the whole lump which must be purged away from us lest they should defile to disqualify anyone from making heaven. Once you detect them, you shouldn’t and must not keep their friendship or company in the church because they shall hamper the healthy, fruitful and sanctity of your spiritual growth as you strive to make a step forward with the Lord, but ten steps backwards into carnality, ungodliness and worldly lusts in the company or association with false brethren who are not calling on the Lord out of a pure heart. 2 Timothy 2:22.
