I welcome you all to this wonderful three days meeting where I’ve been sent and brought by the Lord that I may speak and elaborate by the help of the Holy Spirit of God to you on the former and the latter rain as we sit and wait patiently to listen to the Lord Jesus who himself is that rain that could be felt everywhere on earth. If we read the book of Psalms 72 from the verses 6 -9 it reads: he shall come down like rain upon the mown grass (the growing grass – the little flock) as showers that water the earth. In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace as long as the moon endures: he shall have dominion also from sea to sea (for the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14) and from the river unto the ends of the earth. They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
(2). that the rain is the spiritual symbol of the out-pouring of God’s Spirit promised on the last days. Joel 2:28-32. Hebrews 6:7.
(3). every word of God is pure and the rain in the scriptures is the symbol of pure doctrine, clear and white for the purity of souls, even the washing of water by the word. Deuteronomy 32:2. Proverbs 30:5-6. Ephesians 5:25-26.
(4). that the rain is the fulfillment of God’s word (Isaiah 55:10) as the symbol of provisions and blessings (Ezekiel 34:26) and the sign of divine approval and favor upon man’s life. Proverbs 16:15.
(5). that the rain is also the symbol of spiritual growth (Hosea 6:3) and revival (1 Kings 18:41-46. Micah 5:7) and of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. Job 29: 22-23.

The former rain. Isaiah 27:2-3.

This is the message of repentance and the works of John the baptist, the foreunner of Christ to prepare the way of the Lord for him that is coming to baptize with the Holy Ghost and fire. This is the seed planting time rain, the early works of the Spirit of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit in the believer which produce the blade and ear as the seed spring and shoot forth from the earth. Mark 4:28.

This is the commencement of a man’s spiritual walk with God, the time of spiritual renewal and regeneration when the fire of the Spirit is burning as the result of the freshness and the earnest of the Spirit upon his heart.

Artificial and fake hair attachments are burnt away, lips sticks and nail paints are thrown into dustbin, earing rings with every strange ungodly clothes which reveals body parts and capable to arouse sexaul lusts, passion and desire in others are get rid off to love the Lord increasingly, that the soul should be purified to obet the truth through the Spirit unto unfeign love of the brehtren in crucifixion to the world and the world to him because whosoever much is forgiven, the same will love much. Genesis 35:1-4. Luke 7: 47.Acts 19:18-20. 1 John 2:15-17.

There is a great fire with zeal and personal revival for truth and spiritual awakening in his heart (Galatians 4:12-16) and everyone can see this development and spiritual growth to testify to the early years of the right hand of God upon him (Psalms 77:1-12 when he joyfully endured great conflict full of suffering and affliction for the joy of his salvation. Sometimes publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times he stood side by side with those who were so treated to suffer along with those in prison and he joyfully accepted the confiscation of his earthly goods with joy for the better riches and lasting possessions reserved in heaven for him.

This is the seed which has fallen in a good and honest heart, who with patience brings forth fruit unto God; some thirty, others sixty and others hundreds: the enemy counld’nt snactched it away from his heart because he wasnt a surface or superficial Christian, neither could the torrent rain and winds of temptations swept the seed away because it is well rooted, grounded and planted deeply inside the soil and well covered: neither could the cares of this world, deceitfulness of riches and lusts of other things choked the seed of life (word of God) to die. Mark 4:14-20. Hebrews 10:32-35.

These are the days of the early rain and his heart is filled with going to heaven straight away, willing to depart the earth and be absent from the body that he might be with the Lord in his ignorance that there is an appointed time for the appointed week of the harvest reserved by the Lord which must also take place shortly after the release of the latter rain. Jeremiah 5:24.

The Lord is not going to take him to heaven right now, he must work out his salvation with fear and trembling: he must make his calling and election sure: he must be sanctified in the body, soul and spirit: he must be ready and prepared as a chaste virgin worthy to meet the bridegroom and to go into the feast with him: he must bear witness and win souls into the kingdom as the Lord will water his beloved vineyard day and night with the rain that comes frequently on the earth which is the symbol of the believer’s life to produce profitable fruits of righteousness, truth, holiness and godliness for the people around him. Isaiah 27:1-3. Hebrews 6:7-8. 2 Corinthians 11:1-2.

The danger of spiritual lapse. 1Timothy4:14-16. James 5:7-8.

There shall be no rain (revival) for any  proud heart and walk, haughty looks and empty talks in the kingdom; men must first walk humbly before God before they are lifted up in due course with power and grace to give hope to the spiritually battered. Job22:21-29.

The first love and work in the Lord must continue as none should quench the spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:19) but fervent in the spirit serving the Lord. whenwe do our part to keep the fire in the temple (believer’s life) burning, then shall the Lord add more grace to increase the fire with fresh oil for a longer, fruitful and impactful spiritual life. Leveticus 6:13. Romans 12:11. Psalms 92:10-15

Nothing should be thought to have been done or accomplished when we have not yet received the former and the latter rain – heavy spiritual release of double unction for the greater works than these of which Christ spoke about and of which Elisha accomplished after Elijah was taken to heaven.
Woe unto them that are ease in Zion (Amos 5:1): onward Christian soldiers as we advance to engage in the spiritual battle as long as we are in this earthly tabernacle because many more souls are to be won and more lands to be taken and subdued for the King of saints whose work is great and marvelous; the Lord God Almighty! For you have need of patience, that after you have done the will of God you might receive the promise. Now is the time we need God more that when we first began for the perfection of that which concerns us; therefore let us seek the Lord and his strength, let us seek his face forever (1 Chronicles 16:11) against the destruction from the Lord which is coming upon them who has not sought his face (Zephaniah 1:2-6) that they should be made perfect and complete in all his will for their personal growth and revival.

Ask for more of God’s faith, more of his love, more of his holiness, more of his holy zeal; and more of his godly and reverence fear; more of his grace and fresh delight and pleasure in prayer as of the early stage of birth whereby we cry Abba Father; more of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, especially the gift to edify one another; more hunger to study and search the scriptures, even hundred fold spiritual blessings and increase of those things he has once bestowed in times past. It’s not the time to sleep and be made perfect in the flesh (eat and sleep my soul, for you have much goods laid up for many years. Galatians 3:3: Luke 12:19) but lest any fall into any carnal routine from the spirit of self-commendation and self-sufficiency; let us implore the Spirit of God, whose ways is not made known to any (the wind blows where it want, and thou hear the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. John 3:8) lest they seek to do the impossible of a fruitless and needless labor to monopolize his works, even the unsearchable works of God; than to follow hard after God and to cry unto him to revive his works and in the midst of the years to make his works increasingly known. Habakkuk 3:2. Psalms 85:1-6.

As a good farmer work daily to keep his farm and crop healthy and free from any unwanted plant and from pest infection, even so must a believer keep himself in the love of God (obedience) to walk and wait daily on his God in whom his fruit could be found. Hosea 12:6.
Let us, with all diligence yield continually to the Spirit of God for daily growth as regards to the operations of God’s works in us and through us, working in us both to will and to do according to his good pleasure. God works with us according to his divine time table: everything in the life of a believer is seasonally programmed, even as the seed time and harvest time exists on earth: therefore, is it important that we are constantly guided and led to walk in the Spirit, lest any become complacent and are misguided as spiritually blind, naked and wretched by thinking that they have no need of daily supply of grace and strengthening of the Spirit of Christ made available through the abiding life in the vine for continuous spiritual life, growth and fruitfulness; lest his light reduced and darkened with time, instead of the eyes of his understanding being enlightened in the riches and fullness of Christ: lest the joy and other fruit of the spirit continually wither because he will not abide in the Lord that he may bring forth his fruit in his season until the full harvest. Hosea 13:9-11.

To the diligent believer who is producing profitable fruits from the gifts of grace received from the Lord, he should ask for the promised rain in the time of the latter rain: and the Lord will make bright clouds to send showers of rain for his grass in the field for more fruitfulness and greater harvest in the kingdom: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance; but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.Zachariah 10:1. Matthew 13:12.

Elijah challenged the Israelis to chose between serving the true God that gives rain in his season and appointed times or the false god of Baal with whom there is no knowledge to do either good or bad after three years of dryness, scarcity and deprivation of food and water because God has shut the heavens and withhold the rain to punish his people that he might bring the nation of Israel back to himself once again. 1Kings 18:1.

To the sinners in Zion, who has been in spiritual drought (cleanness of teeth and want of bread: meaning, no fresh and revelatory word and no fresh or new testimonies of God’s wonders through the freshness and presence of his spirit: Amos 4:7-8) and dryness under the oppression of the enemy because of his sinful and unjust ways before the Lord, he should repent and turn back to the Lord (they say, if a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man’s, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, says the Lord. Lift up your eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness. Therefore the showers have been withholding, and there hath been no latter rain; and you have a whore’s forehead, thou refused to be ashamed. Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, my father, thou art the guide of my youth? Will he reserve his anger forever? Will he keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou could. Jeremiah 3:1-5) in fasting and prayer for restorative rain – the former and the latter rain, so that he can catch up for the works and fruits of the wasted years and seasons he has walked away from the Lord, doing his own things. Jeremiah 14:20-22. Joel 2: 12-27.

The latter rain. Zachariah 10:1.

We are called to live the life on spiritual wings, the spiritual mountain top life and this is the spiritual full corn in the ear. It is the time the great harvest has finally arrives. The latter rain is the greater latter glory of the glory of the latter house (Haggai 2:9) reserved to be released through the glorious resurrection power of Christ for the testimonies of the word of God and of his Christ. If the ministration of condemnation is glorious, the ministration of righteousness and of the Spirit is more glorious. The latter rain will multiplied grace exceedingly for the multiplication of revelation knowledge, wisdom and understanding of God because new manna should be given as spiritual meal for each day so that the mouth is satisfied with good things, and the youth is renewed like the eagles – Lord evermore feed us with this bread.
The latter rain will make the water in the temple to rise to the level of a great river that no man could swim over (overflowing and breakthroughs anointing. Ezekiel 47:5-10) bringing comfort and producing healing and giving life to any dead thing that comes into contact with it from the people that do know their God, strong to do exploits (Daniel 11:32) because the Lord will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come. Joel 2: 28-31.
This the time of rejoicing in the mightiness and highness of our God (Isaiah 13:3) so that he that sows in tears shall reap with joy, he that goes forth and weeps, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Psalms 126:5-6.
In the time of the latter rain, the hand of the diligent to bear rule and the meek shall increase their joy in the Lord of hosts who has gone forth for the salvation of his people (Habakkuk 3:13-14) even for salvation with his anointed to wound the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. And the Lord will strike through with his staves the head of his villages in the days of the outpouring of power of the latter rain through his people that are willing to get soak up and be filled from the fountain of the living water from heaven: the Lord said unto my Lord, sit thou at my right hand, until I make your enemies thy footstool. The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of your enemies. Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. Psalms 110:1-3.
Revival shall spring forth, yokes and chains shall be broken and the captives shall be set freed. The word of God shall have free course and be glorified and great shall be increase of the government of the Lord in the lives and hearts of men: while there shall be a new Pentecost descending and falling upon many thirsting, waiting and longing souls because the kingdom of God is not in talk, but in power to set up on high many that has begun very small, so their ends should greatly be increased as the effects and blessings of the former and the latter rain – the double rain. Job 8:7.
