The dangers and damnation of spiritual errors. Job 19:4. Hebrews 2:1-4. Nimes 14-10-19
Share

I’ve heard many believers keep saying in the church just like the unsaved people of the world of the old proverbs that to err is human and to fogive is divine to pacify their corrupt minds and hardened hearts to keep indulging themselves in sinful matters. They are not in any way paying or givng any close attention to be careful and heedful to the instructions of life: for he is in the way of life that keeps instruction; but he that refuses reproof errs (Proverbs 10:17) that they should avoid making spiritual errors, whereof the scriptures warns us of its dangers and damnation; not to let slip or drift sideway of the things which we have heard, but by taking dilligent heed there unto, we shoud walk circumspectly as wise, and not as fools (Ephessians 5:15) and that by so doing, we may walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, fruitful in every good works, and increasing in the knowledge of God. Colossians 1:10.

Error is not of God because it is a bad action attributable, either from our ignorance, self- willed and unjustifiable pursuit leading us to make a wrong decision or judgement like Satan made a wrong call in heaven when he sought for God’s throne, glory and power and was cast our forever down to the earth, waiting to be cast into hell for eternity at the apponited time. Sinful as errors appears to be, God want us to live a spiritual life that is errorless, a life that is free from the errors of the wicked. Luke 6:40: 2 Peter 3:17-18.
The sole desire of him that is perfect in knwoledge (Job 36:4) is for his children in Christ Jesus to come unto the full knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, lest by being spiritual children, unskilful and unlearned in the word of righteousness, should be tossed to and fro, and carried about with every winds of dcotrines, by the sleight of men, by their cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive, and are not stable or steadfast in the word of truth, ignorant of the ways and doing of God, and are thereby filled with errorneos thoughts and lifestyles, taking false steps as Israelis of old to whom God cursed that they shall never enter into his Cannan rest. Hebrews 3:10.
We should know how to treat others fairly, justly and well with respect: any miconduct behaviour to others are likely to receive the pay back of the Lord’s hot displeasure: do they not err that devise evil? But mercy and truth shall be to them devise good (Proverbs 14:22): lest any fall by the hand of the Lord just like Onan the second born of Judah, who was slain by the Lord (and Judah said unto Onan, go in unto your brother’s wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to thy brother. And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother’s wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother. And the thing which he did displeased the Lord: wherefore he slew him also. Genesis 38:8-10) for his wicked act to the wife of his late brother. Note: it is an errorneous calculation to take advange of the widow or the orphans just like Onan did because their redeemer sees and consider anything good or bad done to them as the deeds done for or against the dead. He considers every thoughts, intents and actions calculated against the widows and orphans as deeds done against himself who is the defender of the powerless and the helper of the helpless; to defend and avenge, or to reward and bless individual’s according to their deeds; good or bad toward the orphans and the widows. Proverbs 23:10-11.

Who can understands all his errors, cleanse me from my secret faults. Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression (Psalms 19:12-13): therefore, errors thus abounds in the church: but it is God’s pleasure that the erring brother who has erred from the truth should be corrected and restored back to the narrow way and straight gate to save a soul from eternal death and to hid multitudes of sin. James 5:19-20.

First, how on earth can the priest, pastor or a prophet thinks that wine consumption little or much and the Spirit of God collaborate in ministry and in daily spiritual walk with God? Why are many prophets giving inacurate prophecies and the foolish teachers of lies teaching things they ought not to? Why is power and authority vanishing from the pulpits? These people who are making provisions for the flesh to fulfill the lusts thereof should pray to experience painful stomach sickness which made Paul recommended wine for Timothy (1 Timothy 5:23) before they can be justified to partake in raging strong drink and mockery wine (wine is a mocker and strong drink is ragging: whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise. Proverbs 20:1): but they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment. Surely, it is not for spiritual kings, royal priesthood and princes of the Most High to drink wine! Isaiah 28:7. Proverbs 31:4-7.

Many under-shepherds (for the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed. Isaiah 9:16) and itching ear believers are walking and living daily in what the bible calls as they ‘wrest the other scriptures to their destruction (thou has trodden down all them that err from your statutes: for their deceit is falsehood. Psalms 119:118: 2 Peter 3:16) while some of the parts of the ‘all scriptures given by the inspirations of God’ are ignore to follow after self-gratification for an easy going spiritual life of no sin to resist or strive against unto blood (Hebrews 12:4) and no price to pay Christian life because Christ has paid it all. Why living the life of crucifixion to the flesh with its lusts and affections anymore? Galatians 5:25. What is the need for the double sided crucifixion lifestyles again that they should be crucified to world and the world crucified to them in Christ Jesus? Galatians 6:14. And their lies caused them to err in self -assurance that they will make heaven in such delusional lifestyles of continual sowing to the flesh and of conformity to the world in a misleading perception of the thrice holy God: thus says the Lord; for three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the Lord, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked: but I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem. Amos 2:4-5.

I will, if the Lord’s will, to speak to us about five major deadly errors from the scriptures, of which we shall do well to watch and pray against them; so that when we walk our steps will not be hampered; when we run, we will not stumble. Proverbs 4:10.

  1. The unforced error of an inattentive listener or hearer and of a wrong spiritual priority. When we don’t pay close attention to the most important thing about life in Christ Jesus, it is possible to set the priority wrong in the cause of wrong and inutile pursuit of other projects of great vexation of spirit.
Many marriages are lost or broken because of this unforced error of a wrong priority when the couples ought to build on themselves for their future legacy; for a good, stable and solid family; but instead, one or the other is pursuing after career, more money, business connections and other secondary things which should have come after: living without solid and strong family altar of prayer to spend quality time together to strengthen the bond of their union; and thus their children are ill mannered before man and God; the sin of adultery can also creep in because of out of sight situation and lack of self control to shatter the marriage by this unforced error of a wrong priority pursuit. Note: it is therefore important to lower other interests and to focus and pursue after growing and building the marriage once we are in it as our first priority; even as the Lord commands that the Kingdom pursuit in all its truth and in all sincerity, righteousness and holiness should be the priority once we come into it, lest the cares of this world, deceitfulness of riches and the lusts of other things should destroys the seed of life and the works of God in us. Let us therefore not be like Shimei who was inattentive as a forgetful hearer to that which consist the duration and continuation of his existence on earth. Shimei abused and cursed King David while he was fleeing from Absalom rebellion, and he took advantage of David’s affliction to insult and accuse him of rebellion against King Saul. But shortly after this, David came out of his trouble and was restored and reinstated back to throne as king. Shimei was among the first of the people to come and welcome the king back to Jerusalem and begged and apologized for the insults and his self exaltation against the anointed of God. David forgave him while he lives only to charge Solomon his son to hold him accountable for this particular sin. After the death of his father, King Solomon called for Shimei to remind him of his wicked act towards his late father but made an oath with him to be grounded at Jerusalem for life: that the day he goes out of Jerusalem should be his last day on earth. But after three years, two of Shimei’s servants ran away from his service to the land of the Philistines and he pursued after them to bring them back. This was told King Solomon that Shimei had left Jerusalem to pursue after his dishonest servants, and thus Shimei was put to death and those servants he won’t let go continue to live: though he should have lived longer, had he put to heart the oath made upon his life – a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possess. Note: we should let go of those things and people in our lives who are not serving the pleasures and purposes of God for our existence in the kingdom and continuation in the will of God, lest we observe lying vanity to forsake our own mercy. 1 Kings 2:36-46.

  2. The error of an ignorant and uninformed spiritual worshipper. Proverbs 2:10-11.
God says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: let us therefore pray and labor diligently in the word of life that we might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding: the eyes of the Lord preserve knowledge. Proverbs 22:12.

An unforced error of an inattentive and forgetful hearer is calamitous as we can see from the case of Shimei, but the error of an ignorant and uninformed worshipper of God is a category ‘A’ sudden calamity. The devil is using the spirit of ignorant of uninformed knowledge and understanding about God to send many people to hell and to keep many in unnecessary bondage, tightening strongholds and sudden death. This was the case of Uzzah who was smote to death on the spot when he, out of his zeal without knowledge before the God of Israel sought to prevent the cart which was carrying the ark of the Lord back to Jerusalem, touched it to support the ark from falling down, but God killed him on the same spot. And David feared the Lord from that day forward. 2 Samuel 6: 6-7. It wasn’t his spiritual responsibility because he was a Levite (Numbers 4:15) and should not have forced himself to do the work of the priest as if there was no single priest among the thirty thousand people who are accompanying the ark in the cart driven by oxen (that the soul be without knowledge is not good; and he that act hastily sin. Proverbs19:2): even as King Saul forced himself to offer sacrifice before the Lord, the work assigned and reserved for prophet Samuel; but was instantly rejected and deposed from the throne by God for this intrusion into another’s ministry. This is the same erroneous belief leading to the practices of the over-zealous self -seeking women pastors who are assuming that though the laborers are few and the harvest is plentiful, but the Lord of harvest is slack and cannot see for himself than to contradict his word that women should not teach in the churches; and they should not be exercising spiritual ministerial authority over men in the house of God, but to be silence and to learn in all subjection. 1Timothy2:12-14.

God is not misogynist except that those believers sitting under the preaching and teaching ministrations or ministry of those women pastors or shepherdess are suffering from confusion spirit, characterized by erroneous beliefs that what men can do, women can do better. It is a grievous error to introduce the mentality of the world into the church of God for whatever reason: let they also that erred in spirit come to understanding, and they that murmured learn doctrine that this commandments is from the Lord himself: as for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths. Isaiah 3:12: Isaiah 29:24. 1 Corinthians 14:34-38.

  3. The deliberate error of a hardens heart. This was the choice made by Judas Iscariot who willingly chose to betray our Lord Jesus by ignoring many windows of opportunity to change his mind and to desist from his thought to sell his Savior and redeemer for thirty pieces of silver. It was too little too late for him to come to repentance after he realized the error he committed though he sought it carefully with tears and was obliged to throw the money away and hanged himself to death as if that’s enough to ressolve the issue. Matthew 27:1-5.
This is the hardness of heart and deceitfulness of sin (Hebrews 3:13): the same error which was made by Esau to sell his birthright to Jacob his younger brother; who, though was conscious of his action but counted his birthright unimportant and opt for the porridge he craved from his brother in exchanged. It was a deliberate error, for he said to his brother, just give me the porridge, what is my birthright to me when I’m hungry to death (Genesis 25:30-34): but afterwards, when he would have received the blessing of the firstborn he had lost long ago, there was no place for repentance for him, though he sought it carefully with tears. Note: what portion of eternal darkness and sorrows is reserved for the error of any believer who persistently chose to go his own way, having fun and are at ease in Zion, sowing to the flesh, and afterwards coming back over and over again to God like a prodigal son; even the prodigal son, once he came back to himself never departed again to the world of sin: but these, having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children….Hebrews 12:15-17. 2 Peter 2:14.

How damaging and deadly is the sexual erroneous orientation and choice made by those gay brethren and lesbian sisters in the church, who seemingly will not learn from the inferno punishment and destruction of the people of Sodom and Gomorrah as example of suffering of punishment of eternal vengeance, but are giving themselves over to strange flesh, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. Romans 1:27. Jude 1:7.

How sadly, alarming and pathetic is this error which is found among the new generation ministers of the gospel like the error of prophet Balaam whose ways are crooked and perverted, and his paths are corrupted before the Lord for the love of money and wages of unrighteousness he sought after. These new generation gospel ministers will go to any length to sell you their anointed oil, anointing water and anointing handkerchiefs: their prophets will divine for money without which there’s no prophetic revelation or confirmation from the Lord (but truly I am full of power by the spirit of the Lord, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin. Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity. They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity. The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the Lord, and say, is not the Lord among us? None evil can come upon us. Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest. Micah 3:8-12) whereas, the Lord commands is to give freely, having received freely, even though the workman is worthy of his meat and hire, the good Shepherd knows very well how to meet the need of his faithful and selfless servants; but these fake prosperity preachers, when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. They are in the gospel business to make fortune and not to make disciples: but when they make a disciple, such is twice worst a child of hell than themselves in the business of making money: they are all perverse disputing of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1Timothy 6:3-10. 2 Peter 2:1-3: 18-19.

Pastor Benny Hinn (televangelist) recently came out publicly to confess and repent of his dubious spiritual character of swindling money from people, more than thirty years I’ve known him doing this. He claimed to have just discovered the truth that Christ is not the product to sell out as Judas sold him to the Jews. But what should one advice or counsel the ignorant and simple religious people who have sown in love and in good faith to the Lord for the healing and deliverance they earnestly sought after? The Lord is able to give you more than this. 2 Chronicles 25: 9.
Let us just keep praying and hoping for our beloved pastor Benny Hinn that his actions has not been of any occasion for anyone to blaspheme the Holy Spirit of which there is no forgiveness (Mark 3:29) and of whom he confessed to that it was not only the Holy Spirit who was behind his greediness and love for money (though one can regularly heard him claiming that the Lord wants to do this or that for people who will sow certain figure of money, whereby taking the name of the Lord his God in vain) but some people persuaded or coerced him to do this, lest he has become a stumbling stone of iniquity of unforgiving sin to anyone: then said he unto the disciples, it is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come. It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. Luke 17:1-2.
Let’s just hope in good faith that he’s not into some ‘Pentecostal occultism’ group of pastors which seeks to gain power from Satan to perform miracles to become rich and famous; for that indeed is a terrible error that not even the blood of Christ can purge out or wash away from him till death: to eat from the table of the Lord and to receive power from Satan afterward to do good, the Lord will not pity any that do such things! It is a sin unto death and none should even pray about it because it’s not forgivable neither answerable. What a pity and a nonsensical story from a global pastor and televangelist who should not pleased men, lest he be disqualified from been a servant of God? Galatians 1:10. 1 John 5:16.

  4. The error of a thoughtless spiritual action. How good it is to heed the warning of the great Apostle Paul to Timothy: take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shall both save thyself, and them that hear thee. 1Timothy4:16.
As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God (Romans 8:14) and if we are conscious of this particular scriptures in every conversation, and we seek to be led always by the Spirit of God, we have nothing to apologize for before men, neither shall we have need to confess any uncommitted sin before God as long as our conscience does not condemn us. More also, if we chooses to walk daily by applying the fruit of the spirit such as patience, peace, temperance and self control in any nerve-racking and nail-biting situation of the enemy’s design to trap or incriminate us, we can overcome whatever evil pit of the adversary; by the way, the nine fruit of the Spirit are given to us all for moral aid and transformation, and to serve us in different situations and circumstances, just as the steering gear mechanism of a vehicle is set up for use to change and to move the car from one acceleration of speed to another, transmitting motion for some specific purpose. You should remind yourself of the scriptures before any action: first, to judge what’s likely going to be God’s reaction of commendation to it; or his condemnation of it: to think as well of the impact that such action can have on others, if it is edifying or not: for we must do all things to edify one another. Romans 14:19.

This was the thoughtless error of Moses action (1) when the people made and worshipped the golden calf while he was away to the mountain to pray and seek God’s face. Moses, after forty days and forty nights of fast came down from the mountain as instructed by God only to break the two tables of the law written by the fingers of God and was asked to return back for another forty days and nights fast to write another tables of law as it shall be dictated to him. From this first mistake, he never learnt any lesson nor drawn any wisdom for the price he had to pay to get another tables of law inferior in quality because it was not written by God’s finger but by his own hand as God will not always strive, neither mark iniquity at once. (2). When he was instructed to speak to the Rock (Christ -1 Corinthians 10:4) so that water should come out of it for the people to drink; the unruliness and provocation of the people of Israel got better part of the anger in Moses as he uncontrollably smote the Rock contrary to God’s instruction to speak to the Rock before the people. Thus God punished him for the sin of misrepresentation (Numbers 20:12) by denying him and Aaron of the joy and privilege to finish the work they both started, but replaced him with Joshua as next leader to bring the people to the promised land. Let us beware of wrath (which easily can lead to many regrettable and irreparable thoughtless actions) for it brings the punishment of sword (death) that we may know that there is a judgment. Job 19:29.

Initially at the introduction of David before the Israelites after the conquest of Goliath for the public praise, honors and admiration he received and enjoyed, the scriptures says this that David behaves himself wisely and was loved, respected by all at his youthful age, and admired before all men, being thoughtful and careful in all his dealings and conversations while going out and coming in among his people, and God was with him. And King Saul feared him because God was with him. 1Samuel 18:14-16.

But at the height of power when he ought to be more careful and thoughtful of his ways and actions as he has began to continue in the same (Colossians 2:6) before the people who are now looking up to him for godly exemplary leadership, and before God with whom there is respect of person in judgment; he fell into a thoughtless erroneous action of a lasting damages consequences on his children that raped and killed one another, his own wives sexually ravished by his own son Absalom, and his testimony tarnished as the only sin recorded in the bible against David that he did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord, and turned not aside from anything that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.1 kings 15:5.

For this one sin, God cursed David with a curse of continual war in his house, without mentioning other humiliating punishments as the consequences of the error of his thoughtless action. Had king David sober and thoughtful of any consequence of his adulterous act, first of the impact it should have on all his subjects and on Uriah, the husband of Bathsheba, he would have changed his mind from committing such heinous crime: but because this spirit is evil from the pit of hell, capable to influence the carnal mind to set aside every right reasoning to what is pure, holy, praise-worthy, just and of good-report to fulfill the desire of the flesh and of the mind which can bring us shame, sleepless regrets and death –sin is a reproach to any people. Philippians 4:8-9. Proverbs 13:34.

The war on terror should never have been, but because of the thoughtless error of Abraham’s action to hearken to the voice of Sarah’s suggestion to hasten the promise of a child for them in the birth of Ishmael through their housemaid Haggai the Egyptian, religious war exist to continue until Christ shall come back to bring lasting peace on earth. Note: whatever devises of our own making or counsel from others we hearkened to for an alternative plan to hasten and activate the promise of God other than to wait until the fullness of his own set time and season to do his work in his own way and by his proper means, it is to fertilizes the eggs ovulate by Haggai that she might give birth to Ishmael in our lives- self made lasting problems. Genesis 16:12. Galatians 4:29.

    5. Verbal prideful error of a foolish talker or worshipper: a fool’s mouth lashes out with pride, but the lips of the wise protect them. Proverbs 14:3. 1 Timothy 3:6.
The kingdom talk should be about God and his Christ: it is none about you, family, PhD, husband, private jets, assorted cars, pyramid houses, wife, children, riches, poverty; not about someone out there; and none about the pastors or any of the church leaders (Philippians 3: 2-8) and this is sole reason God has chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise things of the world; weak things he has chosen to confound the mighty things of this world; and things that are not he has also chosen to bring to nought things that are, so that no flesh should glory before him: therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; whether Paul, or Apollo’s, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; and ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s. 1 Corinthians 1:27 & 3:21-23.
It is none about us and none about any man; every house is built by someone but he that builds all things is God. Servants of God who should not be taking any praise for the work they are employed in, who ought to be saying that they are unprofitable servants who are just doing what they were asked to do are the ones receiving celebration and are celebrating themselves in the churches so much that Christ is diminishing and they are increasing through Christ who is being exploited for their self-exaltation and pomposity. What foolishness and what error of eternal consequence awaiting them? It is not he that commends himself that is approved, but he that God commends. Luke 17:7-10: 2 Corinthians 10:18.

How foolish are many worshippers today in some of the so-called Pentecostal synagogues of Satan churches, who are probably under bewitchments; better to admit that they are unlearned and foolish worshippers in the churches by their so called celebration of the man and the woman of the house! Were the man (pastor) and the woman (pastor’s spouse) of the house died for them on the cross? Were they the crucified Christ which shed his blood for the remission of our sins, even seated right now at the right hand of God in heaven interceding for us? All they who are celebrating man and woman of the house have fallen into the damnable sin of idolatry (and these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollo’s for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another. For who makes thee to differ from another? And what hast thou that thou didst not receive? Now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou has not received it? 1 Corinthians 4:6-7) and the man and woman of the house who are receiving acclamations for the works the Spirit of Christ is doing through them; of which Christ is the forerunner (shall the axe boast itself against him that hews therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shakes it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood. Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire. And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day; and shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standard-bearer faints. Isaiah 10:15-18) have their sins following them to judgment.

Also, there is an evil drama of a vain show in the flesh going on among those so called Pentecostal churches that when the man of the house (pastor) is preaching and he’s walking toward certain people or area among the congregate that all the people in that area should stand up at once for reverence as if he were what! What a pity that people are foolishly and ignorantly playing with the devouring fire by doing things out of the scriptures in the name of God.

The bible commands us to honor them that labor in the word (1 Thessalonians 5:13-15) and to esteem them highly in love for their work’s sakes; this includes the deacons or elders in the church as well. The scriptures also shows us the way to honor them by saying this; let them that are taught in the word communicate (share and give) unto him that teaches in all good things (Galatians 6:6) which means to buy him a good shoe for evangelism outreach, or buy him a new car if you can afford one: give him any good present, put some money in the envelope without being asked by anyone for him, or give him gift as an expression of being blessed under his preaching: pray more for him to do greater things with the word he receives from God, that the word should have free course and be gloried: write him an email telling him how you’ve been changed by God’s word through him: approach him at the end of the service and tell him thank you for the message today, I am blessed by it: show him alacrity as you get to church on time to sit and learnt the word of God increasingly.
Many of those foolish eye service worshipers will not even stand up to praise God during the praise time, neither bow their knees to worship and pray before the Creator at home or in the church; but when the pastor is passing by during preaching, they’ll stand up or bend their necks down to do obeisance to honor him; and he is pleased with it like Haman was pleased at the palace of king Ahasuerus; but whosoever refuses to do so, who will not respect the proud (Psalms 40:4) shall be considered proud and rebellious like Mordecai was taken to be. Wahoo! Esther 3:1-6.

Had King Nebuchadnezzar watched and controlled his tongue, except he was not a child of God, he wouldn’t have misspoken to invite divine wrath and punishments to be driven into the bush for seven good years: all this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar. At the end of twelve months, he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon. The king spoke, and said, is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; the kingdom is departed from thee. And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the Highest rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomsoever he will. The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws. And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that lives forever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: and all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, what does thou? At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me. Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk-in pride he is able to abase. Daniel 4:30-37.
