The basic principles and fundamentals of holiness: Psalms 15. Nimes 12-7-19
Share

The entire body of the scriptures is given for this sole purpose: to sanctify or make them holy by the truth, your word is the truth. John 17:17.
The truth known and applies works and produces the miraculous works of cleansing and purging to render the body, soul and spirit pure and cleansed (now you are clean through the word I have spoken to you. John 15:3) before the Lord; so that the sanctifying agent, the spirit of God, through obedience and subjection to the gospel of Christ, for continuation of the process of the washing of water by the word, to present you blameless without any blemish, spot or wrinkle or any such thing at the appearing of our Lord and Christ. The essentiality and necessity of holiness as the only prerequisite to the heaven’s of eternal cohabitation with God (follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14) require the understanding and application of it basic rules to put of some old clothes (Colossians 3:5-8) which belongs to the old man and to put on the new clothes (Ephessians 4:24-30) which appertain to the new man, created in righteousness and true holiness if you want to dwell in tabernacle with him whose eyes are purer than to behold iniquity as you purge yourself from these things (2 Timothy 2:20-21) in sanctification unto the Lord that your offerings and services should proceeds from the sanctified vessel to give a sweet and acceptable aroma to God through Jesus Christ.
A born again believer without all of the spiritual qualities and beauties of Psalms 15 is not yet on the right platform of railway to board the right train travelling through the highway of holiness (and an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called the way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. Isaiah 35:8) which is the safest and uniquely guarantee way (narrow way) to the heaven of eternal glory.
They are the distinctive characters commonly express by the travelers of this route: these essential components of holiness in their conversation and interaction with all and sundry without respect of a person for heaven’s preparation, showing the light of God’s countenance upon them. These are the commandments and instructions of life; the admission requirements into holy citizenship in heaven (Philippians 3:20) the practical characteristics for a permanent and eternal sojourn with the thrice holy God: whosoever does these things shall never be moved (Psalms 15:5) nor be troubled or worried to be in any danger of rejection by God; not now, and not in eternity (beloved, now are we children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know when he shall  appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is: and every man that has this hope  in him purify himself, even as he is pure. 1 John 3:2-3) because the Lord shall deliver the island of the innocent: and it is delivered by the pureness of your hands. Job 22:30.
The topic presented and the goal set, of which David spoke about here is heaven, eternity with God. It is the incorruptible and inestimable price for the forgiven, purchased and redeemed soul through the precious blood of the Lamb: but Lord, who shall abide in your tabernacle? Who shall dwell in your holy hill? Psalms 15:1.
Following up with his questions, David outlined the qualities of life, and the characters, and virtue of them that shall be accounted worthy for admission into the city whose street is made up of pure gold: except they are renewed in the spirit of their minds to walk as children of light; and to have no fellowship with unfruitful works of darkness than to expose them, they can be cast away to miss the highest goal. God is after a renewed character to walk the walk worthy of God as those that are called by him to be saints ,that they might inhabit eternity with the spirits of just men made perfect. Hebrews 12:23.

Psalms 15 verses 2a – he that walks uprightly:

Before conversion, we were perverted and crooked sinners having gone astray into different ways of iniquities against the will and purpose of God: but then the good and upright Lord (good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he teach sinners in the way. Psalms 25:8) came, sought and found us sinners to remove the heavy yoke of Satan from our neck and to break his grievous burden from our shoulders to give deliverance, salvation and power (I am the Lord your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright. Leviticus 26:13) and to teach us his way that we should walk straight and firm in our daily walk (a wicked man hardens his face: but as for the upright, he directs his way. Proverbs 21:29) with God in Christ Jesus.

The new life in Christ Jesus is the inner change and transformation process from the stony heart to the new heart by the circumcision of Christ not made with hands to put off the body of sin, but by the eternal spirit of God to make a new creature from the inside out. The cleanness of the pure heart before God is known and determined by the motive behind believer’s works (integrity of the upright shall guide them, but perverseness of the transgressor shall destroy them. Proverbs 11:3) and whatever part of the scriptures that is not in fulfillment in his life is exposed by the life (he that walks uprightly walks surely, but he that perverts his way shall be made known. Proverbs 10:9) he lives outside.
Those who are not declaring their stand to maintain integrity on the pure (I have sworn, and Iwill perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgements. Psalms 119:106) and undiluted word of God are not standing and walking straight; they are the victims of false teachers and ministers of the gospel carried away by every winds of doctrine which is detrimental to their eternal salvation in Christ Jesus. Without the cleanness of heart, the believer’s walk and works, including his lifestyles could never be said to be upright or perfect before God. Whatsoever is coming out from his mouth reveals the abundance of the good or bad things from it; and his appearances and presentations are nonetheless better or different, for they are the state of the uprightness, perverseness, corruption, rigidity or the pureness of his heart: If the inside of the cup is clean, says Christ, (woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter that the outside of them may be clean also. Matthew 25-26) there shouldn’t be any further struggle to worry about the outside of it. It is the upright in heart that shall walk and do heroically in the highway of holiness, and they shall not stumble in God: they shall hold on to their way because it is the straight gate and narrow way (the righteous also shall hold on to his way; and he that have clean hands shall be stronger and stronger: the way of the just is uprightness: you, most upright, do weigh the path of the just. Job 17:9: Isaiah 26:7) to preserve their soul in patience doing the will of God to the end. They will not curve or bend, for their eyes and eyelids look straight before them, and they ponder the paths of their feet to establish  to prepare the way of the Lord before them, and to make his paths straight in their walk through the strait gate and narrow way: they shall not turn to the right nor to the left and shall remove their feet from evil. 2 Samuel 22:24.

If any man love God, the same is known of him (1 Corinthians 8:3) and the uprights in heart are the unfeigned lovers of God with pure love flowing out of theier pure hearts (draw me, we will run after you: the king has brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in you, we will remember your love more than wine: the upright love you. Songs of Solomon 1:4. 1 Timothy1:5-6) they speak and talk straight (my words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly. Job 33:3) and they are the Nathaniel’s, the Israelites of God indeed, in whom there is no deception or hypocrisy: they shall continue to dwell in his presence; and they shall abide in his tabernacle (the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it. Proverbs 2:21) for the righteous Lord loves righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright. Proverbs 11:7.

Psalms 15 verses 2b – he that works righteousness:

The upright man is not only walking and standing straight in the sight of God, but he’s zealously building and working progressively on the imputed righteousness of Christ every day of his life as workmanship created for good works in his Christ Jesus which the heavenly Father has foreordained that he should walk in them. The works of righteousness produce good fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, and those must be found abundantly in him (Philippians 1:11) even till in his old age: for every good tree, as long as the earth remains to receives rain from above, brings forth good fruits.
Practical righteousness, as well as all the redemptive works in us are the operation of the Lord in his saints as long as they are willing to yield to the prompting of his Spirit in obedience to his word: they are his delegate representatives on earth of his kindness, charity, bowels of mercies, compassion, goodness, etc to the people outside the church and in particular to the household of faith. Resources and provisions made available to individuals are not given to make any provision for the flesh to fulfill the lusts thereof, than to be the source of supply and comfort to the needy in proportion to what they’re receiving from the Lord (if I have withheld the poor from their desire, or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail; or have eaten my morsel myself alone, and the fatherless hath not eaten thereof; for from my youth he was brought up with me, as with a father, and I have guided her from my mother’s womb; if I have seen any perish for want of clothing, or any poor without covering; if his loins have not blessed me, and if he were not warmed with the fleece of my sheep; if I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless, when I saw my help in the gate: then let mine arm fall from my shoulder blade, and my arm be broken from the bone. Job 31:16-22) lest any should heard such word from the Lord: I will declare your righteousness, and your works, for they shall not profit thee. Isaiah 57:12. Ephesians 2:8-10.

What is the scale, magnitude and the measurement percentage of the manifestations of the goodness, bowels of mercy, kindness, and compassion of God you are giving back and showing to the underprivileged to share with them (for the earth which drinks in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and brings forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receives blessing from God: but that which bears thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned. Hebrew 6:7-8) or, you love to wait for people to come and be begging your assistance before doing something for vainglory (to him that know how to do good, and does not do it; to him is sin. James 4:17) unshakably chooses to become like King Hezekiah who became proud and rendered not again according to the benefit done unto him to provoke the wrath of God upon him, and upon Judah and Jerusalem? 2 Chronicles 32:25.

This shall be a shockingly embarrassing declaration and pronouncement liable to condemnation that no believer is expected to hear from his Savior and Lord: but if our righteousness does not exceed the righteousness of the Pharisees and scribes (the Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week; I give tithes of all that I possess. Luke 18:11-12) how can such works of righteousness be profitable unto us; how much more could it not to be found unto the praises of God? And how can we enter into the kingdom of heaven, if we have received the gift of righteousness in vain? Matthew 5:20.

How can anyone escape the condemnation of the Lord or be spared from such confrontation of unfruitful and unprofitable works of righteousness before Christ if they neglect duty and responsibility to maintain good works (and let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful. Titus 3:14) like the selfish, wicked, and inconsiderate redeemed soul of the evil elder’s bad example (I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, receives us not. Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbids them that would, and cast them out of the church. Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God. 3 John 8-11) of the early church?

The priest and Levite of all the people on earth are the people closer to enjoy special intimacy and fellowship with God for their services in the temple as his representatives before the people, but they willingly abandoned and ignored the plight of the man that fell into the hands of thieves, robbed and severely wounded on his way to Jericho: except for intervention and humanness of a certain Samaritan who rescued him, the victim could not have survived the deadly assault on him. To such Levite descendants, and to any present-day royal priesthood and peculiar people of God that will rebuff the needy and helpless: to refuse to do good when they know how to, and have what it takes to do it: or, to do it far below than what they have power to do lesser; and not according to their capacity and opportunity, the Lord shall surely reward them accordingly and shall declare the loss and fruitlessness of their works of righteousness right to their faces! Luke 10: 25-37.

In the parable of the king’s feast for his son, the man without the marriage gown was finally sent out by the bridegroom at his arrival. Anyway, he wasn’t a party crasher: and though he had gained previous entrance by public and general invitation that the house may be full (then said he to his servants, the wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: and he said unto him, Friend, how did you come in here without having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, bind him hand and foot, and take him away and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen. Matthew 22: 8-14) he failed to do such things that accompany salvation (but, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which ye have shown toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end. Hebrews 6:9-11) required for the preparation of the bridegroom against the time of celebration; such as continuous doing good to all men without weariness, lodging strangers and homeless, almsgiving to the poor as always, with other works of faith without leaving out his (but woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Luke 11:42) cheerful offerings and faithful tithes given to God. Instructions to do these things seems burdensome to many people in the church, especially in this era of god- belly filthy lucre pastors preaching flattering and false doctrines (Titus 1:11: 1Peter 5:2) for material gain: but this is the only way to lay up treasure for yourself in heaven, and by doing those things as listed in the scriptures, you shall be made rich in good works (1 Timothy 6:18) steadily increasing in good works (Galatians 2:10) fruitful in every good works (Colossians 1:10) abounding in good works (1Thessalonians 4:10) until the God of peace that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. Hebrews13:21.

Blessed are they that shall eat bread in the kingdom of heaven (Luke 14:15) but much more to it: blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. They should first be proved to be worthy of  the invitation (wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:  that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12) before they can enjoy the delicacy from the royal table in heaven. They shall be called forth and be led into the feast as the partakers of the first resurrection: the blessed and holy people of the Lord their God. They shall be honored to dine with the Lord of the bread and wine of his body at the feast with the Lamb: the symbol of sacrifice of their eternal union, love, and covenant.

The bible speaks of the saints wedding garment (and to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. Revelation 19:8) as their righteousness. Without controversy as to that you don’t understand, the good works of the saints of doing righteousness (he hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn shall be exalted with honor. Psalms 112:9) shall be turned or converted into individuals wedding garments at the marriage supper of the Lamb: therefore, the size and beauty of your wedding suit, robe or gown is determined by what you’ve sown on earth to reap in eternity.

The scriptures further reveal that the wife of the bridegroom has made herself ready- whoa! Revelation 19:7. You don’t have your wedding garment prepared now; you can’t have access to the banquet hall as simple as that! The wedding is strictly for people filled and rich in good works in the righteousness of Jesus. There are personal preparations to provoke others unto love and good works (Hebrews 10:24) while you’re getting rid of all the filthiness of the flesh and of the spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Some men sins are waiting for them in heaven; likewise are the good works of many are waiting for them hereafter: many shall be had in remembrance now as Cornelius was rewarded for his constant almsgiving and prayer, but the full payment and reward is reserved for the celebration of the resurrection of the just (then said he also to him that bade him, when thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbors; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompense be made thee. But when thou make a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, and the blind: and thou shall be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shall be recompensed at the resurrection of the just. Luke 14:12-14) at the time the saints go marching in.

Psalms 15 verses 2c – he that speaks the truth in his heart:

There shall never be any meaningful and lasting deliverance from the false liberty men are in today: nor shall there there ever be any glimpse of light or beacon of hope to come out of the gross darkness over the world; and no remedy or antidote against eternal death shall ever be found without the high dose of vaccine of eternal truth – pure and undiluted word of God.
Man was integrated into lying at the fall; and it becomes part of his nature to lie, enclosed as an instinct, and armed as a weapon of self-defense until he receives the power to walk under the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus set in motion to set him free from the law of sin and death. This is the presentation of a wicked man (sinner) estranged from the womb, speaking lie as soon as he was born into the world. Psalms 58:3.
The intrusion of the father lies (you are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. John 8: 44) into the world of man to become part of his life set the law of sin and death into motion in the spirit of the fallen man before Christ came to redeem sinners by the sacrifice of his unblemished and incorruptible blood: to give us a new birth and power to live in a new life as children of God – the God of truth without iniquity. Deuteronomy 32:4.
In truth (Christ) was life, and the life was the light of all men that came into the world of sin. This is the description of the outspoken, unapologetic and unbiased Christ sent from God as a witness to the embodiment truth of the Father. Truth here can be divided into three parts; namely, the scriptural truth of God’s eternal unchanging word (every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar. Proverbs 30:5-6) relational truth (wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another. Ephesians 4:25) and the third is the accurate and verifiable personal situational truth (so David fled, and escaped, and came to Samuel to Ramah, and told him all that Saul had done to him. And he and Samuel went and dwelt in Naioth.1 Samuel 19:18) of our life’s happenings and events.

God shall avenge himself of his false and lying servants; and he will judge every false and deceitful counseling from evil counselors with perpetual condemn ation of every lying and misleading prophetic words and revelations from the false prophets and prophetess which has made others hope that God would confirm their deceitful and lying word and have overthrown the faith of some in the kingdom and made them offended in Christ. To lead another astray by deceitful counsel (whoso causes the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit. Proverbs 28:10) the Lord approves not; but he reserves the vengeance of eternal fire for false brethren and false prophets, to avenge the deceived: for they are both the works of his hand. Job 12:16.

We are in the perilous time when lies is filling up the stadium but truth attracts empty chairs. Though truth is unpopular and can be costly, even as the Lord was hated because he testified against the evil works of the world: those who will not auction their conscience are the pure in heart: and they shall speak the truth under any circumstance to show forth the righteousness of God: whosoever speaks truth shows forth the righteousness (Proverbs12:17) and they shall be established before God to dwell with him (Proverbs 12:19) forever in his celestial tabernacle: but the mouths of them that speak lies shall be stopped and condemned now and in eternity. Psalms 63:11.

Has the believer not made free by the truth; and why should he desire to go back into captivity, bondage, and death by not walking in the truth to defend and speak it always as his shield and buckler? As a believer saved by truth and called to be a witness to the truth before the unbelievers, the testimony and answer of his conscience before God should resonate with the arguments of the defense of the gospel by apostles Paul’s example before the church at Thessalonians: for our appeal [encouragement; exhortation] does not come from ·lies [error] or wrong reasons [false motives; impurity], nor were we trying to trick you [with guile/deceit]. But we speak the good news [gospel] because God tested [approved] us and trusted us to do [or entrusted us with] it. When we speak, we are not trying to please people, but God, who tests [examines; approves] our hearts. You know that we never tried to influence you by saying nice things about you [came with words of flattery]. We were not trying to get your money; we had no selfishness to hide from you […nor with hidden motives of greed]. God knows that this is true [is (our) witness]. We were not looking for human praise [glory], from you or anyone else. 1 Thessalonians 2:3-6.

People are having problem with diffrent besetting sin or the other that they are struggling against in the kingdom (Hebrews 12:1) but a believer who is not speaking the truth, an habitual and smart liar with the disposition not to believe everything from others will assume that everyone is untruthful in one way or other as he is (I said in my haste, all men liars. Psalms 116:11) because unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. Titus 1:15.
Whatever it is, scriptural truth (and he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: that we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;  but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ. Ephesians 4: 11-15) or relational truth in form of counseling or edifying one another (and I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another. Romans15:14) or the personal situational narration (neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. Then after three years, I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s brother. Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not. Galatians 1:17-20) the believers are to speak the truth in love with an open heart with one another as brethren in the Lord, that all may grow up into Christ in all things: therefore, let those who are called to walk in love be ready and willing to believe all things to be true until the liar and dishonest brethren can be proven otherwise from the mouth of two or three witnesses: and by their fruit: or, by the revelation of spirit of truth. Note: truth is very scarce in the land, but to speak the word of God as the truth is Jesus Christ, walk and defend it in every conversation, enquiry and response is to say that God is true of the witness he has given concerning the truth -Jesus that dwells in you through the operation of the power of the spirit of truth in you: this is how the true testimony of Jesus shall be confirmed in you to the end.

Today, many are operating under the influence and power of lying and familiar spirit among the so-called Pentecostals, while thinking they are operating with God and hearing from him. More also, there is a deep-rooted evil expression of ‘the Lord says unto me’ to influence decision and to manipulate the unlearned and unstable in the word of God (thus says the Lord of hosts, hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord. They say still unto them that despise me, The Lord hath said, you shall have peace, and they say unto everyone that walks after the imagination of his own heart, no evil shall come upon you. For who hath stood in the counsel of the Lord, and hath perceived and heard his word? Who hath marked his word, and heard it? Jeremiah 23:16-18) when the Lord has not actually spoken.

God is looking for men and women which are unabashed for the truth to embarrass (while Paul was saying this in his defense, Festus said in a loud voice, Paul, you are out of your mind! Your great learning is driving you mad. But Paul said, I am not out of my mind, most excellent Festus, but I utter words of sober truth. For the king knows about these matters, and I speak to him also with confidence, since I am persuaded that none of these things escape his notice; for this has not been done in a corner. King Agrippa, do you believe the Prophets? I know that you do.  Agrippa replied to Paul, in a short time you will persuade me to become a Christian. And Paul said, I would wish to God, that whether in a short or long time, not only you, but also all who hear me this day, might become such as I am, except for these chains. Acts 26:24-29) to awaken the consciousness of liars to the immutability of his word, that they that err in the spirit should come to understanding, and them that murmur to learn doctrine. Isaiah 29:14.
Godly friendship and company should be sought and cherished from honest and plain-spoken brethren (faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful: he that speaks flattery to his friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail. Proverbs 27:6. Job 17:5) known and characterized by their directness in manner of life to walk in the truth and speech without subtlety or evasion from criticism and hatred for speaking the truth,;and without the fear of confrontation and victimize to compromise the truth (how terrible it will be for people [ Woe to those] who call good things bad and bad things good [evil good and good evil], who think darkness is [or make darkness] light and light is [or make light] darkness, who think sour is [or turn sour/bitter to] sweet and sweet ·is sour [or to sour/bitter) Isaiah 5:20) for a lie.
The first believers’ couple (Ananias and Sapphire) which tried to introduce deception and falsehood into the early church was killed by instant cardiac arrest to deter others from repeating the same sin in the house of God in future dealings with their brethren in the Lord. Devil filled their hearts and devil claims their souls: liars have their place reserved for them in the lake of fire.
As the old adage goes, speak the truth and let the devil be put to shame: but many people in the church are like deceitful fallen angels (oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men. And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, says the Lord. Take ye heed every one of his neighbors, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbor will walk with slanders. And they will deceive every one his neighbor, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies and weary themselves to commit iniquity. Your habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, says the Lord. Jeremiah 9:2-6) and they don’t actually meant what they have previously promised you than to give a false hope against the time of need to satisfy their curiosity to know your capacity and limitations: and to make unprofitable comment or mock at your insufficiency, if ever you rely on such a premise to demand for any help – how forcible are right words: honest words are painful, but they give life. Job 6:25.
