The traits and characteristics of the elects. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. Revelation 17:14. 30−06−18

Believers in Christ Jesus of all ages are called out of the world of sin and darkness to be consecrated to God and to cleave or hold fast to him under any circumstance as he works his purpose in them to be conformed into the image of his dear son — Jesus. This is the peculiar and singular purpose of their salvation and election, namely, conformation to Christ death or conformation to his image. Whichever way you want to put it, this is God’s intent, ambition and purpose of action to have given his only begotten Son to die for man’s sins and redemption from sin on the cross. The goal is set and the invitation is extended to the entire world of men in every nations of the world, but comparatively, many are not willing to honour the divine request to become the King’s friend (the kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, and sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, tell them which are bidden, behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, and another to his merchandise: and the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. Matthew 22:2 – 6) guests, and sons and daughters of God in Christ. Many believers are in focus of public attention to give the impression to honour the King’s invitation; on the other hand, they are seemingly and apparently making it look ugly, and not adding any sacred, saintly, born-again, and reverence attractiveness to their presentation to the feast of the King’s son. They came into the feast in kleptomaniac spirit to mess up and ruin the party for the bridegroom, having no time neither any personal responsibility on their part to make arrangement for the proper wedding garment. These are the so called men, women, and children of God, whose goal is to use the glory and the name of Christ to glorify and enrich themselves, fulfilling their personal agendas and not Christ’s. They are in the gathering for the King’s feast but not to honour, expand nor to effect positivity environment to contribute holy things to ameliorate the company of believers in preparation for the arrival of the bridegroom, but as agent of distractions in the church, precisely as the guest without the wedding garment was singled out at the arrival of the bridegroom (and when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: and he says unto him, friend, how came thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless Matthew 22: 11 – 12) are they conducting themselves to be seen by all. They are in the church to depreciate and abate the praises and the good works done by the bridegroom, and they sought to darken the brightest hope of glory in the saints, and undertake to deprive the bridegroom and his bride’s expectation from coming into the everlasting and unspeakable joy, full of glory upon his arrival, and to portray Christ completed work at Golgotha as half done and unaccomplished, though he has by one offering perfected them that are sanctified. Hebrews 10:14. All the invited guests have come just as they were, because the King would never look down on anyone with disdain or contempt (all that the Father gives me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. John 6:37) because we are all the work of his hands and the sheep of his pasture, (then says he to his servants, the wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. Matthew 22:8 – 10) even so, and in spite that they came as thieves, robbers, harlots, swindlers, drunkards, liars, idolaters, gays, lesbians, men stealers, murders, boasters, drug addicted, deceivers, disobedient to parents, unholy, unthankful, covenant breakers, etcetera, they are not in any way to remain the same as they came, but to change their garments to have a new look in conformity to the rest that were invited or called as guests of honour to attend the marriage feast of the King’s son, if not, very soon shall they be asked and condemned by the bride at his arrival, friend, how did you managed to come here without having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, bind him hand and foot, and take him away and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen. Matthew 22: 13 – 14. This is the time for common (but Peter said, not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean. And the voice spoke unto him again the second time, what God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. Acts 10:14 – 15) admission of non differentiate, non distinguish or individuate to qualify invitees or those that are called into the kingdom – all must grow together for now, and there is more than necessary sufficient time for proper and adequate appropriate and honest preparation of lifestyles for the marriage feast with the King’s son before the time for final selection of those that are truly ready and prepared to go in to the feast as soon as the bridegroom arrives and to feast with the King’s son. Now, I want to draw the parallel and similarity to this narration from the book of Esther Chapter 1 and 2. The King is expected to have a new and better wife as the consequence of the pride, rejection and divorced from queen Vashti who has shown no respect for the king and stubbornly refused to present herself to honour the King her husband before his guests. The judgement was made and a fair young virgin with good conduct and ethics should be sought for the king among all the virgin daughters of the land – poor or rich, educated or illiterate, she should be a exemplary virgin (for I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ 1 Corinthians 11:2) for the Kingdom, the king and the land. The virgins of the land are to be called and invited to the palace and live there for twelve months in preparation to meet the king for final acceptance and approval: but at the same time, self– beautification, self– improvement, self– mindfulness, self– realization, and self– purification is going on in the lives of the virgins participants in anticipation to be chosen and married to the king. Each girl’s turn came to go in to King Xerxes after she had completed the twelve months of prescribed beauty treatments — six months’ treatment with oil of myrrh followed by six months with perfumes and various cosmetics. When it was time for the girl to go to the king, she was given whatever she wanted to take with her when she left the harem for the king’s quarters. She would go there in the evening; in the morning she would return to a second harem overseen by Shaashgaz, the king’s eunuch in charge of the concubines. She never again went back to the king unless the king took a special liking to her and asked for her by name. Esther 2:12 – 14. There was a unique, different from standard or norm with discretion in practical approach found in Esther as she asked for nothing other than what Hegai, the king’s eunuch in charge of the harem, had recommended. Esther, just as she was, won the admiration of everyone who saw her. Esther 2:15. From this verse, it is apparent and understandable that Esther, in a manner differing from the usual or expected standard procedure like other virgins, wisely conformed herself to follow the exact recommendations and advises from the palace commissioner and ambassador in charge of the beauty spectacle for a bride and queen for the king. Keep in mind that the former queen Vashti was a very beautiful and attractive woman who chose to apply her beauty to intrigue the king’s request as a crafty end to establish her rebellion and uncomplying spirit to act against the king’s rules, commands, or wishes. She became prideful and fooled by her beauty to descend from the queen’s seat of honour at the women’s party against the king’s wishes for her to come and present herself to the guests, but she made herself equal in authority with the king. Esther 1:11. The bride or the new queen should be a woman with a virtuous spirit and with the ability or quality to do what is morally excellent, who shall be able and willing to take the king’s wishes as her command at any time. It is one thing to be called, but it is yet a different thing to be chosen – many are called, few are chosen. Esther got the right information and applied it to meet the king with the attire and adornment she learnt should be pleasant and acceptable before the king to obtain his favour and to get married to him. She did not just put on whatever she thought could be attractive to the king as other virgins did but failed. (I). None among the people invited or called to the palace and kingdom of the King of saints shall be chosen to enter the banquet hall to feast with the king’s son if they continue to fulfil the desires of their minds and lusts of their flesh –those that are in the flesh and conformity to the world, cannot please God. (ii) Let it be known that there are costumes meant for the celestial palace outfit, and raiment for the divine royal outings if any do aspire to see the bridegroom and be married to the King’s son. The kingdom’s rules should be respected for proper grooming in preparation and presentation for acceptance before arrival of the King’s son. Let us make ourselves worthy of the honour that we are called and invited to the kingdom and palace of the King whose name is Mighty and dreadful, by making proper preparations and purification from all the filthiness of the flesh and of the spirit, as we put off the old clothes of fornication with all uncleanness, inordinate affection, lying, anger, wrath, malice, envy, slandering, backbiting, blasphemy, filthy communication out of the mouth, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Christ is the righteousness of the saints and the saints can only make known or bring his righteousness to light by walking in Christ steps and examples, if they are rooted and grounded in him, portraying and growing in the fruit of the Spirit which is in all goodness and righteousness and truth, proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. The kingdom of God is no longer a mystery to those that hears and understands its precepts and makes use of them so that they can receive increasingly. It is better to openly refuse the King’s invitation with a sincere heart in defiant and objection to his invitation to Christ as the once in a life time life to live than to honour the invitation and make believe with the intent to deceive – you are a pretender, deceiver and a liar, and all hypocrites and liars shall have their part in the lake of fire. Ungodly participation, appearance and presence alertness or awareness in the kingdom or in the body of Christ does not qualify anyone to be chosen, if they’ve not measured up to the standard and expectations of faithfulness to the walk of life of faith in Christ Jesus as partaker of an heavenly calling (wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builds the house hath more honour than the house Hebrews 3:1 – 3) to put off the old man, which is corrupt according to its deceitful lusts and to put on the new man, to walk daily in the newness of life. This is the only way to keep your garment cleansed and washed in the blood of the blood of the Lamb, that whenever the bridegroom appear announced, he would not found you naked or unclothed without the wedding garment (I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thundering, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigns. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he says unto me, writes, blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he says unto me, these are the true sayings of God) made ready for your clothing for the feast with the bridegroom. The guest without the wedding garment has continuously pretending to be someone he was not. He’s been impersonating Christ and Christianity repeatedly, awaiting the arrival of the bridegroom to go into the banqueting hall together with him with his craftiness and insincerity. He has never put on the new man, (put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye) which is created in knowledge after the image of him that created it, which after God is created in righteousness and in true holiness. Ephesians 4:24. Colossians3:10 –12. Note: among the multitudes called shall the accepted few be chosen, vindicated (who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:8) and glorified to be with the Lamb forever. The elects cannot be deceived to fall away through the false prophets, teachers and through the iniquity abounding in the world. They shall endure hardness with great pleasure (rejoicing in hope and patience in tribulation) in it that they are counted worthy to partake to have their share in Christ suffering, that, when his glory shall be revealed, they may be glad also with exceeding joy. They are faithful in their walk and lifestyles before the all seeing eyes of God without any compromise for false relief in their present light affliction which is but for a moment, works for them a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. Blessed are those who has gone before us and washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb — yea, much more and far greater are those who now awakes to righteousness and sin not (1 Corinthians 15:34) to change their ways from the errors of their past lifestyles by the water of washing by the word, not living carelessly, dishonestly, unthinkingly, making sure they understand what Christ wants and are living up to his expectations. They are the elects who are walking worthy to fulfil the purpose of their calling to be conformed to the image of the King’s son in their daily walk and lifestyles. They actually and faithfully pattern to model their lives to live Christ as long as they are living, and God shall likewise count them worthy of his calling (2 Thessalonians 1:11) to be finally chosen to gain entrance to heaven, having found them faithful. Are you faithful to the word of God? Are you actually patterning your life after Christ? Are you daily putting off the old man, and putting on the new man? Are you truly crucified with Christ in your daily lifestyles? The royal wedding gown is not shape, put up or piece together in a day. The materials for your wedding gown are ready– made (for he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him 2 Corinthians 5:21) but you are only required to join the pieces together as you look for instructions from the perfect law of liberty (for if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: for he beholds himself, and goes his way, and straightway forgets what manner of man he was. But whoso looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. James 1:23 – 25) for tailoring your life and to adjust in an appropriate manner and suitability for those things you should get right in your life for the purpose of the feast with the King’s son (but he that lacks these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: for so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ 2 Peter 1:8 – 11) for a fitting and glorious (in harmony with the spirit of particular person or occasion) wedding gown as you are walking and practising and growing daily in the righteousness of Christ — and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
