The necessity of believer’s perfection in Christ 20-04-18.

It becomes a necessity when it is given as a command from Christ that we should be perfect, even as our Heavenly Father is perfect. And, it is also a necessity when a disciple should seek to be perfect as his master was. It is a pity for those brethren who are always sitting down only under the ministration of an apostle, a prophet, pastor, evangelist or teacher and are not thirsty and eager to profit from other ministries that are not operational in their local churches. Thank God for the YouTube Christian channels, but let us be careful of the messages we are receiving into the heart by comparing scriptures with preaching. Let the children of God be careful of the sweet talk and flattering pastors’ doctrinal errors by saying this is our church doctrine, but they should rather embrace the entirety of the word of God to attain to the full knowledge of the Son of God for their own good. A minister and his ministry from the other five folds ministries and ministers do not have all that it takes to bring the sheep under him to the fullness of Christ and perfecting of the saints. Under normal circumstances, it is the responsibility of the under shepherd if he is a pastor by calling, to bring in (periodically) other ministers with different offices and of same spirit, mind and purpose to minister to his congregation (I desired Titus, and with him I sent a brother. Did Titus make a gain of you? Walked we not in the same spirit? Walked we not in the same steps? Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? We speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying. 2 Corinthians 12:18) for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: that we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.
This is from my personal experiences with many worldly and broad ways pastors. Iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17) but a wicked and selfish apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor or teacher will hardly leave his pulpit for fear of intimidation, ineffectiveness and incompetency unto another minister. Some, if they do, should have come to terms and agreements with such a minister on what to preach and speak. They are less concerns about what God want to speak to the people to correct whatever is wrong in the church and to put the house in order. If by curiosity and mistake a faithful minister was once allowed on their pulpit, they will never bring such back again to that church, not because of any fault on his part – wrong or bad, but because he is as good and faithful to the word with an excellent spirit, and has exposed many doctrinal faults and lies of the under shepherd – host pastor. The apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher as a minister have need of the assistant and intervention of other ministers and ministries, lest those serious, hungry and thirsty believers under his care becomes uninterested and tasteless to the repeated spiritual meal without flavour and vitamins by more or less same story taking people nowhere, but turning them around on the same spot. The five-fold ministerial gifts are given and designed to work uniquely and distinctively in the lives of the brethren through the ministers, but expected to produce the same fruit of holiness and achieve the same goal of perfecting the saints if those that are called into the office endeavour to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace. But how can this be when they don’t speak the same thing and their Christ, doctrines and gospel is divided? When the evangelist preached and gathered the souls into the kingdom, it is the work of the pastor to nourish and bring them up to maturity. This doesn’t mean that the work of the evangelist is over in that place; he might be required to come back with revival fire to awake those who are slumbering and has lost the first zeal over time. ‘Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God (through Phillip the evangelist) they sent unto them Peter and John: who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: (for as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. Acts 8: 14-17. I have been to many churches where the majority of the believers are not baptized with the Holy Spirit, but one or two occasions has been where the pastors themselves are ministering without the baptism of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. 1 Peter 1:12. They received afterwards when they were informed about the necessity and purposes of the indwelling Spirit of God. If there is no genuine love and fear of God, control, check and balances in the churches, the evil under shepherds shall keep exploiting (at that time I placed before them exactly what I was preaching to the non-Jews. I did this in private with the leaders, those held in esteem by the church, so that our concern would not become a controversial public issue, marred by ethnic tensions, exposing my years of work to denigration and endangering my present ministry. Galatians 2:2) scattering and destroying the churches, bringing the souls back to the world – For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 2 Peter 2:18-19. It is very simple if you are striving to go through the strait gate and narrow way to heaven – leave the church and ministry or minister who is not growing and not challenging you by scriptures and lifestyles to provoke spiritual growth and increase in good works in you- those that were clean escaped from them that live in error. If prophets are not visiting your churches, visit the prophets, but you need a good one in your life and their ministry is still effective and important in this last days. Acts 11:27. As many people desire and loves to be under the ministry of a prophet today, it is not bad to have the current word from the Lord about your life, but it is bad if you are also not sitting to be well fed by teachers of the word and nurture by a good pastor to present you perfect in Christ Jesus. Why was the seven letters from the book of Revelation written to the seven churches covered the entirely two chapters and were given to Apostle John to deliver? Because of the imperfections in each congregation, the Lord with the eyes of fire and all knowledge filtered through the churches to condemn the bad things and works therein and commended the good works and men therein; that altogether, the churches should learn from one another to correct their errors and improve on their good works before Christ who expect to find them perfect before him. The Lord weighed and put the standard of each church on the scale of the word of God, but nearly all of them were found wanting. Jesus therefore sent his holy Apostle from the Island of Patmos the revelations of those things that are lacking in practice and behaviour and bad in each assembly, and those that are good and insufficient in other assembly, so that all may see, know and learn to make adjustment from the bad and make improvements (and when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea. Colossians 4:16) on the good ones in compliance to the scriptures to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. Luke 1:17. The Lord is a great Saviour and comforter, but when such a good Lord is signalling a warning that he who has ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches, he is necessitating perfection in walk, works and characters, expecting them to heed corrections and reproofs of life and instruction in righteousness delivered to the churches, so that when he comes back, he shall not disappoint any by denial of them an entrance into his everlasting kingdom and glory, and that none should be disappointed in their Saviour if they should labour to attain to the full and obedient knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
