Shush the voice of sin, the voice enemy and of the avenger. Psalms 8:2. Message given today the 18-10-18

Not only from the pulpits and assemblies of the cupidity -gain oriented ignorant pastors in the churches today should we be demonstrating holy zeal and anger to stop their mouths as much as possible (for a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not self-willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; but a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate; holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake Titus 1:7-11) to maintain the dignity and the purity of the holy-heavenly calling in order to rescue (as many as possible) the unstable souls from the imprisonment of false teachers leading them unto perdition through allurement of the flesh to feed souls with unprofitable milk (self- improvement, self- awareness, self- exaltation, self –satisfaction instead of self denial etc) instead of strong meat by speaking great swelling words of vanity, through much wantonness (the trait of lacking restraint or control: ungodly freedom in Christ in licentiousness) those that were clean (the spiritually minded) escaped from them who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption (imprisoned by their flesh-worldly and carnal pastors) for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 2 Peter 2:18-19.

The scripture further reveals other negative voices (there are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification) that should be put to silence- voices that must be ignored, rebuked and stopped, and among them is the voice of the stranger-the thief. The thief (Satan) is also known as the persecutor of God’s people –incitement to sin (in your struggling against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. Hebrews 12:4) that he might find occassion to  accuse against them before God. Once you heed his voice, he will come after you to oppose your ways and stand against you because of your failure to resist him at first. The good news is that Christ was delivered for our offences and raised for our justification if we put our faith in the precious unblemished life speaking blood of Christ that is speaking better things to still the voice of the enemy and the avenger from the past, present and future iniquities and condemnation: for Christ has borne our iniquities on his own body on the tree, that we being dead to sins should live unto righteousness. Christ has made reconciliation for iniquities and made an end of sins to bring in everlasting righteousness. Thus was it played out during the symbolic but prophetic act of Jesus triumphant entrance into Jerusalem when he entered the temple to cleanse and rid it of the buyers and sellers, even as he overthrown the table of the money changers and drove them out to put an end to the voices of thieves who has diverted the house of God meant for worship and prayer as den of thieves. Note: If you have not given yourself completely to the Lord as a living sacrifice, you have not given him anything at all. Let us be careful of strange lifestyle, mentality and comportment possible to change our outlook (attitudes that determines how we respond to situation from the perception of a new born creature in Christ Jesus) and to diminish in us the godly fear, holiness, sanctification, righteousness and fervency (consecration) in the spirit to serve God. Those are the unconscious transactions and activities of the strangers that are conducting evil businesses in the souls of men. Let us therefore abstain from fleshly lusts which wages war against the soul. The joy and triumphing of hypocrite is for a while. How could it be that the praises of God is perfected when we are not wholly sanctified in the body, soul and spirit – cleansed from all filthiness of the flesh and of the spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God, even as Christ cleansed the temple and got rid of the strangers therein? Matthew 21:12-16. 1 Thessalonians 5:23.
In the book of revelation chapter 12 verses 10, Satan is presented as heaven’s outcast- expulsed accuser of our brethren which accused them before our God day and night, cast out from heaven to the earth. He is the originator of sin (he that commits sin is of the devil, because the devil sin from the beginning. 1 John 3:8) and the voice of it -the tempter. 1 Thessalonians 3:5.

Denying the truth or wrestling with the scriptures is an indication of a conscious or unconscious affinity to Satan – the resemblance of a common trait (you are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. John 8:44) of self seeking and self pleasing behavioural and emotional expression to resist the voice of truth -God. This is who we were in the past when we were dead in sins and trespasses, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, walking according (in conformity and obedience to) to the course of this world, according (in conformity and obedience) to the prince of the power of the air, the spirits that is now at work in the children of disobedient. This was in the time past of our lives when we ignorantly served divers lusts and pleasures according to the will of Satan -sin. None is exempted, for all have sinned and were as children of wrath, even we who are now saved by grace were once like others in the past.

The voice of the enemy and avenger is called the sin that dwells in me, the evil that is present within me when I were without Christ in the world, in times past, in the un- circumcision of my heart that was once subjected to obey the law of sin and death which was at work in me. Romans 7:20-21.                                  Just as Christ has suffered in the flesh without sin, we can now have the same grace and power from him to walk in the same mind to experience freedom from sin whose power is broken for us (For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. Romans 7:5-6) by Christ fulfilling the law, so that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us who are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ to crucify the flesh with its affections and lusts: and to serve God, not only with the mind, but to glorify him in the body and spirit which are God’s. Colossians 2:11. Galatians 5: 24.
There is a new-powerful law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus greater than the former law of sin and of death to help believers overcome sin and to put the voice of sin to perpetual silence- to still the enemy and the avenger -the righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth. Psalms 107:42.
Has Christ not died to redeem us from all iniquity and to purify unto himself peculiar people zealous of all good works? Was Christ not rightly named Jesus to save his people from their sins? Was Christ not tempted in all points without sin, seated as the faithful high priest with power, grace and to give help to triumph over all sins for those that are tempted? For sin, says the holy writ shall not have dominion over you as people not under law but under grace on the sole condition to walk under the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus which is in now motion in us to set us free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2.

If we strive (labour) to walk in the Sprit and growing in the fruit of it in our daily conversations, where shall iniquity have opportunity to present its lustful and carnal case to be heard and obeyed? If we chose to climb up higher to the road of spiritually minded- the straight gate and narrow way, where shall the voice of sin be heard to go downward? For them that are after the Spirit mind the things of the Spirit (godliness, holiness and the kingdom of God in all its righteousness) and those that are after the flesh (lustful and carnal desires) mind the things of the flesh! Those who have received abundance of grace through the knowledge of Christ are filled with the Spirit to walk in the testimony of a young man who can have his way cleansed from sins by taking heed to the word of God to stop the mouth of all iniquity.
There is the voice of the world calling us with all that she has to offer. The flesh profits nothing and will only produce death and corruption if it is not subjected and its works mortify through the indwelling Spirit of God shed abundantly on us at regeneration and renewing (Titus 3:5-6) to facilitate the defeat of sin in us. The flesh is called the fallen or Adam nature. It should be crucified to the world and the world crucified to us if we don’t want to be a cast away from the presence of the Lord at the end of our sojourn on earth. To contain the pressing and appeal from the voice of the world in silence, we have to pay the price to suffer the flesh (denying it its cravings) that we might cease from sin, that the believer should no longer live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. 1 Peter 4:1-2.

Many believers are without awareness that worldliness is a spiritual adulterous sin –an enmity against God -those that blend and comport like the uncircumcised in heart shall perish with them. Worldly and ungodly believers represents the voice of the world in the church with patterns and likeness of the worldly. The tempter (Satan) transmits his messages and desires through the two links- the world and flesh. The believer who is not crucified to the world and the world not crucified to him will certainly listen to obey the voice of the world or the voice of the flesh to compromises his ways, works or lifestyles.
We have not received the spirit which is of the world. If we are not of the world, we shall be dead to sin, and we shall not understand her languages of friendliness, compromises and companionship to keep her mouth shut from our ears by responding to the voice of the good shepherd which says, they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Those that are of the world will seek justification from it and will speak of the world, and the world will hear and honour her companions and friends. The cross and the world, and the believer and the world are at perpetual irreconcilable strife and enmity. Though God loved the world (not the system, practices, customs and doings) that he gave his Son to die for the world of mankind, it is those with understanding of divine intent and purpose that are reconciled with God. They are not saved to reconcile with the world, of which they were delivered from (Galatians 1:4) but to completely come out of it, and to turn their backs at it. They are to turn deaf ears to the voice of worldliness, and to shun the appearance of it, to decline it request for cordiality to walk her in movable broad and dark way leading to destruction. Note: the devil is the god of this world, any compromise with the world is an indirect obeisance and worship of him.
Remember the temptations of Jesus in the wilderness. The devil spoke through his flesh to turn stone into bread, and he showed him the world through thoughtful expression and imagination to present the glory and pride in it to persuade Christ to worship him in exchange of them. God makes his angels spirit, neither did Jesus see Satan face to face in his three temptations. The tempter utilises the voices of flesh and world (fantasy but demoniac) to get us into trouble -sin. These three voices are in constant irreparable enmity and conflict with God’s will, plans and purposes on earth. The only way to overcome them is to see them as they are and treat them as God taught us from his word (subdue, subject, resist and love not) if not; these have the tendencies to destroy us at anytime. There should never be any confidence in the flesh whatsoever. The flesh is corruptible, its works are damnable, and sin is condemned in it. As for the world, it is already overcome by the Lord, and should we allow ourselves to be overtaken or overthrown by that which the Lord has conquered for us? This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. It is a sacrificial self denial faith, such that Moses demonstrated when he came to years but refused to be called the sons of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the pleasure of sin for a while, esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasure of Egypt, for he had respect unto the recompense of reward. Thus Moses shun the voice of sin and of the world to renounce and sacrifice his royal dignity, honour, identity with the world, privileges and influences he had with the greatest power on earth (Egypt) to seek and to walk after God into the wilderness. The world is accursed with all the lusts in it. By listening to her voice, you are defiling yourself to be accursed thing as well. The prince (Satan) of this world is already judged and condemned the moment the Lord went out of the city to sanctify us. Refusal or unwillingness to follow after the Lord out of the camp (world) to be sanctified from the world and to bear his reproach in the world is an indication that such are self condemned with the prince of this world- for here we have no continuing city, but we seek one to come. Hebrews 13:12-13.

Evil or unclean spirit is responsible for sin. They identify with each sin to take ownership as master over the slave in the life of a sinner through their lusts even as Satan sin from the beginning and whosoever commit sin is of him. To be drawn away into sin by the lusts of the eyes or the lusts of the flesh and pride of life is to be overpowered by evil spirit we ought to resist and cast behind us or trample under feet. You are servant to whom you obey whether of sin unto death or obedience unto righteousness- eternal life. Both the Holy Spirit and evil spirits speaks. The former speaks to convince us of sin, righteousness and of judgement, but the former speaks and seek to derail us from the paths of righteousness unto gratification and pleasure of sin through the voice of flesh which ignite its sensual passion, compelling to yield to the cravings of the fleshly lusts which war against the soul. The moment this is done, there is a transaction of exchange of ownership over your life and soul to the spirit you obeyed his voice. You can imagine a fool wallowing in and playing with sin to mock at the spirit of grace and trifle his victory over sin in his failure to be cleansed from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Talking of anything filthy (thoughts, heart, ways, walk, words, deeds etc) you’re talking of the activities and involvements of unclean spirits. Without discernment and prayerful life in strict observation of the word of God, they are capable of bringing anyone into any form of error and captivity, and to establish a stronghold in such. Sin has different denomination but the wages of sin- wilful or deliberate sin (Hebrews 10:26) presumption sin (Numbers 14:44-45) persistent sin (what shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Romans 6:1-2) erroneous sin (a wrong action attributable to bad judgment or ignorance or inattention –Uzzah’s error. 2 Samuel 6:7) unconscious sin (I was a stranger, you took me not in, and imprisoned, you visited me not. Matthew 25:43) heretical sin (characterized by departure from accepted beliefs or biblical standard such as gay or lesbian Christians, women shepherding over church etc Titus 3:10-11) and all unrighteousness which the bible calls as sin, is death. 1 John 5:17.

Note: let those unrepentant sinners in the churches be assured that by seeking answers of peace and revelation of prosperity from God without repentance for peace with God in the continuation of their foolishness in sin are deceived by the prophetic divination that cannot help them out of their iniquities, but rather strenghtening their hands in it by telling them peace where there is none and shalll never be -your prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment. Lamentation 2:14. Ezekeil 14:1-9.
Prior to the death of King Ahab, there was a conference that took place before the throne of God where the hosts of heaven were summoned for selection of one among them to be sent on missionto occasion the death of Ahab on earth. Verses 21…..and there came forth a spirit, and stood before the Lord….this hint at the interruption of a strange spirit that bursted and emerged suddenly into the conference space uninvited with a persuasive option as a destructive agent with sausible- trickery weapon or instrument to persuade King Ahab into battle to die for his sin which he made Israel to sin, and it is obvious that the spirit is evil, being a lying spirit. ‘And Micaiah said, hear thou therefore the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left. And the Lord said who shall persuade Ahab that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner. And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the Lord, and said, I will persuade him. And the Lord said unto him, wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said thou shall persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so’. 1 Kings 22 verses 20-22.

You can have your ways cleansed from all iniquity by taking heed to the word of God and stop the mouth of all iniquity, to still the enemy and the avenger. Now is the time to seek forgiveness before God for the wrong voices (man’s voice, fleshly voice of carnal mind, world’s voice, evil spirits voices, etc.) you have been obeying to disobey the voices of your teachers –the word and the spirit of God. How will you judiciously condemn every tongue that shall rise up against you in judgement when they are the same voices you are obeying to sin? Awake to righteousness, and sin not (stop the mouth of iniquity) for some have not the knowledge of the righteousness of God: I speak this to your shame. 1 Corinthians 15:34.
