Key is the symbol of power, authority and access. Without a key, you are clueless and under– privileged and with little opportunity to accomplish and execute any event and mission before you with great success. Key symbolizes leadership authority to rule and to preside. It is the symbol of trust, reliability and responsibility. To receive or have the key in possession is to have a mandate of responsibility to oversee a project you will be called upon to give account at the end. In the scriptures, there are four major keys with significant understanding and revelation for effectual outcome. When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, who do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremiahs, or one of the prophets. He says unto them, but who say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Then charged him his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ”. Matthew16:13-19. This is the key for deep revelation knowledge in the mysteries of Christ. Peter was a leader of the leaders in the early church, but all are subject to one another in the fear of God. All are subject to the light of the scriptures before the head, even Christ. True Christianity and spirituality is a pure religion of personal relationship with God, based on the merit of Christ substitution death — the sacrificial Lamb of God, the only begotten of the Father, who has come to make the Father known and to take us to his Father’s home. He is the only way to the eternal God, the one and only mediator between man and the heavenly Father. None can come to the Lord Jesus except those that are drawn by God. Everyone who has learnt and heard from the Father are those that can truly come to the Son to learn his way and take his easy yoke upon and faithfully bear his light burden in adherence with Christ to the end. They are the sheep of the Lord’s pasture, and they know his voice and recognize his presence. The Lord will call them by their names to lead them besides the still waters (the place of spiritual strength, intimacy and revelation) and they will gladly obey and follow to abide and walk with the Lord in the light of his word and in the testimony of the Sprit’s witness in them. They are completely sold out to Christ and there is no worldly influence, power or personality that shall pluck them away from his hand because the Father who has given them to Christ is greater than all. God himself will keep and defend them till the end as gifts for Christ. They are in union with Christ through the revelation of the Holy Spirit that is guiding them into all truth, and are increasingly growing deeper in relationship revelation knowledge with God Day by day. They are truly blessed and happy because they know him (Christ) whom they believed and are not sway by worlds and men’s opinions (acceptance, approval or rejection) of them about Christ till death, even as the Lord loved his own even unto death. They are very blunt in their witnesses to the truth of the gospel of eternal life which they learnt from their acquaintance with God. They shall speak the truth as been taught by the Holy Spirit, and not in words which man’s wisdom teaches (denominationalism) comparing spiritual things with spiritual. They are not for the most part seeking after any new revelation, but for the reward of their continual devotion and thirstiness and hunger before God in Christ Jesus, revelations are flowing down to them and heaven is opened while they are ministering before the Lord, seeking and waiting on God. They speak life pricking conscience word with such authority and power that cannot be resisted, and they live and walk by divine revelation as the privilege of their birth from above in their intimacy and consecration to God as they that have the mind of Christ. The word from God becomes their word because it is given to them by revelation. They speak and teaches to reveals the secret of wisdom in a mystery (Job 11:6. 1 Corinthians 2:7) even the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the world unto their glory. Men shall wonder for the wisdom, gracious and mighty words from their mouth because that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider. They are the oracles of God — prophet to the prophets, teacher to the teachers of the word and apostle to the apostles who has been found faithful to simplify and communicate the simplicity of Christ in godly sincerity and to defend it fearlessly. Isaiah 52:11 – 15.
One of the keys of the kingdom of heaven is the key of revelation knowledge and understanding of the divinity of Christ and the comprehension (whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory) of his indispensable indwelling presence in us – Christ in us, the hope of glory. Increasing revelation knowledge is an attainable grace if we give ourselves continually to prayer (wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him) and the word of God. Revelation knowledge does not contradict the scriptures to establish new ideas for the century and new era we are living in, but it establishes the infallibility of the word of God as your eyes of understanding are opened to the scriptures. We are called to grow in grace and in the knowledge of the word of God. God is willing and ready to grant us supernatural access of knowledge into his incomprehensible but comprehensible existence and ways by revelation knowledge and understanding — the secret of God is with them that fear him, and he will show them his covenant. Psalms 25:14. Luke 24:45. Ephesians 1: 15 – 17. Colossians 1:25 – 27. It is the God’s good pleasure to open our spiritual understanding to the scriptures that we might know the riches of his grace in the lively hope of our heavenly calling, and to know what the riches of his inheritance in the saints. If we are grounded and rooted in the word of God and faith in Christ, the Father will manifest himself to us. God and Christ will come and make their dwelling with us for greater manifestation and revelation. This is also a mystery and blessing for obedient ears and lifestyle to Christ commandments which I called as the increasing outpouring of the fullness of God head bodily in an earthly tabernacle — body. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. John 5:21. 2 Corinthians 4:6 – 7. Revelation knowledge serves as divine assurance and motivational drive and force to endure whatever challenges and confrontations in our light and momentarily affliction and trails which is but for a moment and working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
Teaching and practices of any spiritual revelation or supernatural knowledge of scriptures outside of Christ doctrines and the gospel according to godliness is demoniac, worldly myth and old wife’s tales. Such useless unbiblical talk and practice is heresy and erroneous belief, deceit from the pit of hell, a destructive and false gospel that should be strongly resisted with hate coupled with disgust. Our completeness and perfection can only be found in Christ who is the head over all things, and the embodiment of truth and grace comes from God who has sent him. ‘Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. In Christ are found all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And you are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. Colossians 2:8-10.
Response to every question in life and solution to every challenge and situation is in the word of God. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. Christ is the life and the word of God — the answer to every questions of life, the revelation to every hidden things and explanation to the mystery of life. ‘Thou art Peter, and upon this rock, I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it…. increasing revelation knowledge is the privilege of authority which the Lord bestow and given in favour through intimacy with him. Such was the revelation knowledge given to Peter in the defense of the Gentiles conversion, when all the brethren stood up against him and accused him of going into the Gentiles to eat with them (and as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life).
It was also given to James to silence the disputes and disagreement concerning fleshly or outward circumcision of the Gentile believers for their admission into the body of Christ. Acts11:15–18. (15)13 – 22. Spiritual battles are easily fought and won when the Lord orders it, and then shall the eternal God become our refuge, and underneath shall be the everlasting arms: thrusting out the enemy from before us; and saying, destroy them. Never should we presumptuously engages in any battle of which the Lord has not order us (moreover Amaziah gathered Judah together, and made them captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, according to the houses of their fathers, throughout all Judah and Benjamin: and he numbered them from twenty years old and above, and found them three hundred thousand choice men, able to go forth to war, that could handle spear and shield. He hired also an hundred thousand mighty men of valour out of Israel for an hundred talents of silver. But there came a man of God to him, saying, O king, let not the army of Israel go with thee; for the Lord is not with Israel, to wit, with all the children of Ephraim. But if thou wilt go, do it; be strong for the battle: God shall make you fall before the enemy: for God hath power to help, and to cast down. And Amaziah said to the man of God, but what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel? And the man of God answered, The Lord is able to give thee much more than this) but to wisely enquire when and how (strategy) to engage the enemy before engaging and committing ourselves to the Lord’s cause. Deuteronomy33:27.2Chronicles25:5-9. We can effectively bind and loose certain lesser demons and powers by faith according to the written word in the authority of the name of Jesus Christ. Whereas, certain demons can’t be bind or lose if we are not given “faith that comes by revelation” of their identity and operations with tangible (and it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them) anointing and power to dislodge and defeat them. Luke5:17. Such is the important and operation of the gift of the word of knowledge (revelation gift) in administering healing and deliverance to the oppressed. In this situation, the Spirit of the Lord gives precise revelation knowledge of the problem and of the victim to create an atmosphere for healing and miracle. ‘When Jesus saw him lie, and knew (word of knowledge) that he had been now a long time in that case, he said unto him, wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another stepped down before me. Jesus said unto him, rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the Sabbath’. The spirit of faith is at work and already stirred up in the Lord’s servant and the power of the Lord is present to heal as he moves into action to break the yoke by confirming the word with signs and wonders. John 5:1- 9.
