After the judgement of the swarms of flies upon him and the entire land of Egypt, apart from the land of Goshen where the Israelis were, Pharaoh suggested that Moses and the Israelis can serve God in Egypt and not to go out from Egypt – this is the compromises of an equally yoked. Note: if we are delivered from the world, we must practically come out of it. For Jesus to sanctify us, came out without city; the believer should therefore go unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach, for here we have no continuing city, but we seek one to come. Egypt stands for the world and believer must come out of the world to follow after the Lord into the wilderness, into the starting point of our relationship, formation, purging, preparation and systematic and timely advancement and progressive journey into the Promised Land. Hebrews 13:12-14. Many Christians are spiritually sick because they are half -delivered and there is no such thing as abundant life in any partial deliverance. The believer is required to separate himself in total consecration unto the Lord from the mentality, practices, lifestyles, and customs of the people and the law of the land which is contrary to the word of God. He cannot conveniently be un-equally yoked together with them and be acceptable to the Lord which has commanded him to separate from every ungodly acts and customs as light and darkness has nothing in common-can two walk together, except they be agreed? Moses response to Pharaoh’s appealed shows that we cannot be genuinely loved by sinners when we are not running into the same excess of riot with them like we were once used to in the past; neither can we force them to love us, nor stop them for persecuting us for righteousness sake by casting out our name as evil for his name’s sake. The scriptures cannot be broken; he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked. The Lord knows the ways of the righteous, but the ways of sinners shall perish but to be delivered from partaking in the destruction of the wicked, the Lord’s command to his people is to come out Babylon, and be not partakers with her in her iniquities. The believer must offer the sacrifices of faith to the Lord which consists of offering (wasting, denying and avoiding) the abominations (lifestyles, customs, mentalities, perceptive) of the Egyptians (the world) to the Lord. Whatsoever is abomination is detestable and disgusting and such is not acceptable to the Lord. Abominable things are cursed, defiled and unholy and they enables constant access and permanent residence to demons in any man’s life. Whosoever continue to engage without repentance and renouncing their abominable act(s) are cursed and shall be denied access into the holy city of God but shall have their part in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone. The abominations of the Egyptians are many in their higher and ethical spiritual meaning and they should not be found in our lives if we are to make heaven as we sacrifice their loathsome and abominable lifestyles-even the corruptible lifestyles which we received from our ancestors and parents to the Lord…If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (Leviticus 20:13.1 Corinthians 6:9)…..The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God. Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing. (Deuteronomy 7:25-26)……There shall not be found among you any one that make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that uses divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shall be prefect with the Lord thy God. (Deuteronomy 18: 10-13)…. The woman shall not wear that which pertained unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God. (Deuteronomy 22:5). Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore (prostitution gain or money) or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God. (Deuteronomy 23:18)….thou shall not have in your house divers measures, a great and a small. But thou shall have perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shall thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteous, are an abomination unto the Lord thy God. (Deuteronomy 25: 13-16)…. These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, an heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brethren. (Proverbs 6:16-19)….He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrifices a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighted in their abominations. Exodus 8: 20-27. Isaiah 66:3.
Resist the devil and he will flee from you……but don’t expect him to tarry long in his comeback and counter attack, just as he departed from Jesus for a while and retreated only to calculate for the best and possible assault time. The devil will never stop assaulting the believer in one way or the other until his time is out and he is bind and chain for his final judgment or the believer is taken up to glory to be with Lord–watch and pray that you enter not into temptation – having done all to stand, stand. Luke 4:13.
(ii) Ok, you may go into the wilderness to serve the Lord as you insisted, but not too far from Egypt. Not far too from our culture and lifestyles. Not too far from our fashion, code of dressing and mentality. Not too far from our music’s and television shows. Not too far from our erotic movies and horror films. Not too far from our cinema houses and beaches for the summer sun (worldliness). If you go too far from us, you will probably be completely detached from us, but we still desire some affiliations and bonds with you, you can serve your God and still retain some of our traits-when you go far from us, everything you’ve learnt from us and about us shall be forgotten and ultimately be abandoned –out of sight is out of mind. This was the next strategy, demand and expectation of Pharaoh for Moses and the Israelis. Exodus 8: 28. James 1:27.
This is another scheme of the Devil –the compromises of lips service (this people honours me with their lips, but their heart is far from me and in vain they worship me because their fear towards me is taught by the precepts of men. Matthew 15:8) and not to have any serious and total commitment to make the believer a superficial, moderate, normal, sensual, worldly and carnally- minded and once in the week Christians without any serious spiritual walk and engagements and involvements, no fervency in the spirit, neither any zealousness in serving the Lord in a constant personal devotional life and fellowship with God and with others in the body of Christ by comparing spiritual things with spiritual (I have my church and I have my pastor) to grow increasingly in the Lord. To avoid this, the believer must be genuinely occupied for the Lord as his soul follows hard after him and such are the whole hearted followers like Caleb the son of Jephnah which cleaved to the Lord with all his heart and followed him fully from Egypt to the wilderness and to the Promised Land. If the believer will not go deeper and farer from the world from one stage to another stage in his spiritual life’s experiences, growth and relationship with God, he is not making his calling and election sure and such are not working out their salvation with fear and trembling and will certainly be spiritually half Egyptian and spiritually half Jew (part of him belongs to Satan and part to God) and there would be no real transformation or genuine visible manifestation of redemption and new creation in such life. The only way the believer can keep his deliverance and completely shut the door behind Satan is to keep going as far as it will take him to be always with the Lord – One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock. Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the Lord. The difficulty that many people are facing today in their relationship with God is not on how to experience the supernatural and miraculous power of divine liberation from their different spiritual problems unto the glorious liberty of God’s children in Christ Jesus: rather, it is based on how to remain strong in that liberty wherein Christ has set them freed and never to be entangled again with any yoke of bondage (when the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation Matthew 12:43-45 )which could be worst and difficult to come out from if a great care is not taken to serve God seriously and diligently…. then shall we know, if we keep on walking after the Lord -it is therefore obvious that if we choose to go deeper with the Lord, our paths shall be becoming as the paths of the just, shinning more and more unto the perfect day. Not until all the evil spirits are finally sent into hell fire at the time appointed by God, the demons remains spiritual fugitives and vagabonds seeking constantly for a place of habitation (human’s or animal’s body) where they can carry out their nefarious and destructive works and to take their victims to hell for his sins and unrighteousness they had indirectly used him to sin against God –whosoever commit sin is of the devil, for the devil sin from the beginning. And for this purpose the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil. If the house (victim’s body, which ought to be the temple of God) is clean and cleansed from the operations and habitation of unclean spirits for the habitation of God through his spirit, its use must be converted for pure and holy purposes lest the unclean spirit takes advantage the second time to come back with other demons into that body to prolong their stay and to increases their works and fortify their strongholds against further ejection and the last state of the undecided and unserious carnal Christian is worse than the first. An empty house – which means a once freed believer from demonic possession or depression, should be filled with the word of God day and night so that he can become like the tree planted by the rivers of water whose leaves wither not and whatever he does can prosper. An empty house owner should know the activities of the former occupants (demons) in his life and never to compromising in any of those things again, lest he open the door and encourages the demons to come back (as one that loves his/her demons) again the reason you see many so called Christians falling down over and over again during deliverance ministrations and they never get delivered at once-what a pity and self deception! He should overcome those moral weaknesses (sin or the works of the flesh) with serious fasting and prayer for daily grace and power to walk in obedience to the word of God. He should keep company with serious and spirit filled and mature Christians that are in close and good relationship with the Lord to help and strengthens him in the paths of righteousness, feeding him with undiluted word of God and walking in holiness. Unclean lifestyles and words, worldly dresses and songs or music, worldly doings, practices and heathen life-styles should be far from him, neither should he touch or have in his possession any unclean vessel which does not glorify God apart from the flesh, world and Satan as one who is indeed set free by the Lord. All things will not work together for his good and such cannot be led by the Lord and overcome if they will not go farer with God away from the world because the man born of the spirit is like the wind that blows wherever it wants, and we hear the sounds thereof, but cannot tell where it goes and where it comes from. The best things of God are mainly and mostly reserved for the end and those who will not go as far as to see the end with the Lord shall not make it at the end of time. There is no ground for negotiation as to give excuses for lameness of feet which ought to be healed and not to be turned out of the way, but to go farer, that it might make it to the end. We are expected to continue and to go as far as the Lord would take us like Enoch walked with God until he was taken up to heaven. We should exclaim like Peter before the Lord when the strong meat is served and the undiluted word is spoken and many withdrew from following the Lord because they would not want to go deeper in knowledge and farer in their walk with Christ – Would you also go away, the Lord asked the twelve. To whom shall we go, for we know that you are the Christ and you have the word of eternal life –Peter responded. It is of such that has made up their minds to go farer from one wilderness to another in their transformational process that the Lord has said; I have given unto them eternal life, and they shall not perish and no man shall pluck them out of my hand, because the Father which has given them unto me is greater than all –it to them he has said, if you continue in my word, ye shall be my disciples indeed. Our spiritual walk and growth will stop where our obedience ends. The revelation of truth increases when personal relationship is deepened by increasing submission and trembling to the engrafted word of God which is able to save the soul. Whenever we stop at a truth, we automatically stop walking and growing and the rest is just spiritual roaming, rambling and wandering in the wilderness until we come back to the word we had rejected that we might grow thereby. Christ will not condemn us before the Father, but the word we reject shall stand against us on the last day in heaven. God will not speak nor reveals any more than we are willing to bear and do. He will not go against his own word to give holy things to the dogs and to cast his pearls before the swine. Nothing should satisfy nor anything stopping us in our daily transformation from glory to glory and from strength to strength until we see him as he is, when we shall finally and satisfactory be like him. We must be hungering and thirsting after God in righteousness, deepening in our commitment and relationship, deeper in our faith and love in the Spirit, setting our faces as a flint and never to lament or regret of having left behind us the awkward life of sin or ever thinking it over of the old life in Egypt (world) as the best. Our life depends on God and we must earnestly ask him to draw us and be ready to walk and run after him just as the life of the deer depends on the water brooks so our life depends on God and our expectation is from him.
(3) Satan is the tempter and at well as the accuser or the persecutor of the brethren. He suggested that Moses and the adult should go away from Egypt but their children should be left behind and what a foolish and a ridiculous option in the compromises of parental negligence! Ex. 10: 7-11.
Parents are responsible for their kids until the age of maturity when they can speak, think and decides for themselves; even then after are they still responsible to give them godly counsel because the adult is warned never to despise his mother’s person when she is old. Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my womb for the sin of my soul? This is purely parental negligence! The Lord shall require the parents for the spiritual welfare of the children entrusted to them.How the parents shall set their faces to the Promised Land, while their children are on the way to hell for eternity. As long as the children remains in Egypt, which signify the world, they are bent for second death – And I saw great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was no place for them.And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God, and the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Revelations 20; 11-12.
All the teenagers that died at the age of accountability without Christ has no cause for excuse before God (rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment. Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity Ecclesiastes 11:9-10).
If we have come out of Egypt as parents (got saved) it is our sole duty and responsibility to fight out the salvation of our kids which is non-negotiable with the enemy. The Lord’s promise of salvation was to us and to our children –all your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of thy children. Isaiah 54:13.
We must bring Egypt out of our children by our own separation from the world unto the Lord. Foolishness is already residing in the child’s heart as soon as he was born and it is impossible to train a child the way he should go when the parents are a burden unto themselves – we cannot teach the child to do what we are not setting the pace or example to do before them – that is provocative and it won’t work – Fathers, provoke not your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4.
Our life of godliness in the path of righteousness speaks volumes to our kids if our efforts to get them saved should be hopeful, fruitful and meaningful before them and we can boldly says to them -be ye followers of me, even as I also of Christ. 1 Corinthians 11:1.
Love for our kids should not defers us to discipline or correct them in measure according to their offense – for he that loves his son, chastises him many times, and our soul should not spare from their crying. Proverbs 13:24. (19) 18.
Whosoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me – which means the words of God should be the rules and guides by which we relates, trains and brings them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord-for we are just caretakers (parents)and it is expected of us to direct them at all times to the owner and maker (God) thereof.
In my parents’ home, when you don’t go to church on Sunday morning and evening service then there is big problem that would not only cost you that afternoon meal but also received good whipping. You must remember the pastor’s message and the title of it and be ready to answer any question from it. Though I was very stubborn, rebellious and resistance to church going as a teenager; yet my late father’s unceasing chastening and my mother’s unrelenting prayer and fasting paid off at last as God had those things in remembrance to save me. While some parents go to church, they leave their children behind at home on Sunday morning either because they slept late by watching late Saturday’s night movies and as a result woke up late or were permitted to attend a neighbour’s or family friends party on Saturday’s night which rendered them unfit for Sunday’s morning service. This is not good for the kids in the sight of God who must learn at their very tender age that God is above all and should comes first in everything and their affections for every other things should not overrides their worship and devotional time with the people of God on the Lord’s day – train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22: 6.
The parental authority is given to shape up the life of our children on earth and after God it is all up to the parents in the lives of their children. A child left to himself brings shame to his parents and not only that they made him to fail God, they also made him to fail as well in the pursuit and accomplishment of his own existence and fulfilment or manifestation of his true personality and destiny. It is expected of us to prayerfully and wisely enforces parental authority over our children as the Lord gave testimony about Abraham’s parental authority to have a good conscience before God that we do our best over them- for I know him, that he will ‘command his children and his household’ after him and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him. Genesis 18: 18-19. Proverbs 29: 15.
Parental goodness and tolerance are not the same. There is a limit and extent to which we can tolerate our children and they are born and given to be taught, disciplined and trained up.
We must take up and deal with any act of stupidity, childishness or any moral lapses in our children before it becomes a deep rooted seed of wickedness in them.
Time must be sought and spent for our kids’ spiritual trainings and exercises as we teach them to pray and allow them to pray at home during the family devotion. This is going to be their greatest blessings and inheritance received from us when our time here on earth is over. They shall be blessed by our righteous life and they shall be blessed again in their continuation in a righteous way of life – In the fear of the Lord is a strong confidence; and his children shall have a place of refuge – The just man walking in his integrity, his children are blessed after him. Proverbs 14:26. Proverbs 20: 7.
When last did you bend down on your knees with your children in the night at the family altar before going to bed and in the morning before they go out to school and into your daily business? Your kids did their school home works diligently with your supervision or under your watchful eyes but when last did you give them some text to study and new verses to memorized from the scriptures? And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.And these words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. Deuteronomy 1: 19. (6) 6-7.
There is nothing social in the spiritual life we are called to live while the so called social Christians attends cinemas to sit with the scorners and to watch demonic and ungodly inspired films and do they think that their children shall do the less?
There are lots of edifying and illustrative biblical stories on DVD’s and CD’s which are educative to make the scriptures more understandable for our children and on this we must spend and teach and instructs them upon.
What type of family did you permits your children to spend their week-ends with?
School and families friends which are not born-again or with the good and zealous church’s family friends to teach them against un-equally yoked and to increase their awareness of brotherly love to your kids?
Love your neighbours as you do not mean that you should commit the keeping of your children to the care of them that will take them to indecent places and companies of the unregenerate in your absence.
I say unto you that all the seed of God’s word you’re sowing in your kids shall remain and increase in them and the word of God shall be fulfilled in them as it is written; as for me, this [is] my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that [is] upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for- ever.
It is the enemy’s idea not to force our beliefs on our kids, leaving them to decide on their faith when they shall grow up. Whereas, it is important that they know the Holy Scripture from the childhood and to possess the unfeigned faith just like the young Timothy inherited it from his mother and grandmother – train up your child in the way he should go, and when he grow up, he shall not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6. Isaiah 59:21.
We should learn from the error of Prophet Eli’s that honoured his sons above God and refused to chastise them and to teach them the right way of the Lord. We cannot leave our children behind in our walk and devotion and fellowship with the Lord. They must be strictly brought up in the ways and admonition of the Lord. They must go alongside with us in the ways and house of the Lord like Joshua said…as for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord. We must not leave our kids behind in Egypt but to dine with them on the same spiritual table with before the Lord and should not be fed nor satisfied with the lusts of the flesh and the lusts of the eyes while we have our food and spiritual satisfaction from the table of the Lord. Genesis 18: 19. Deuteronomy 6: 6-7.
(4) Your cattle must stay behind in Egypt- go serve the Lord empty handed. Ex. 10: 24-26.
This is the devil, when he cannot stop your conversion and he perceived that you are really serious to go and walk with the Lord, he will not stop at anything to oppose and attack your finances purposely to have you back to Egypt and to the world if possible. Such is the time you have to be careful against the love of money and unrighteous profit or gain – you cannot serve and mammon. The enemy will not stop at anything to have your attention against your soul just as he tricked Shimei and made him to journey to the land of the Philistines to bring back his servants that ran away from serving him against the deal for his life which he made with King Solomon that he should die in the day he go out from Jerusalem – where your treasure is, there also shall your heart be. The enemy knows that money is important and your properties shall give you fortunes so he want you to leave those at his management and whenever you run short of cash, you can always go back to him. All that we are and have and ought to be should be given to the Lord –everything under the heaven is his. Everything about us and for us must be automatically and willing be transferred to our new Lord and King’s use and nothing that belongs to us should be left behind in the world for the use of the old master and king of the world- Satan. We must honour the Lord with our substance and serves him all the days of our lives with our materials and other possessions which are just part of the gifts entrusted to us to profit withal. We must lay up treasure for ourselves in heaven by investing in the kingdom purposes, interests and progresses. Whenever we are using our money for worldly and ungodly amusements and purposes like going to cinemas for worldly films, beach outings, ungodly partying, gambling’s etc then are our cattle left behind in Egypt and our heart is divided, and then shall we are found faulty before the Lord. 2Timothy4:10. Hosea 10: 2.
There are much antiprosperity and evil propaganda in some television stations and YouTube clips lamenting and warring against the prosperity of the church and of the men of God, discouraging people against the word of God and against tithing. Gold and silver belongs to our God and his cities and the kingdom shall yet be spread abroad through prosperity. If Pharaoh and his princes and his magicians are riding on horses, should the princes and the ambassadors and the ministers of the Most High be walking on foot? When the believer is not paying or given his tithes in the church or to the ministry he belongs to, but he’s using it for himself or in some other ways as it pleases him contrary to bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in my house, then has he left his cattle in Egypt to multiply for the Egyptians. Servants of God are required to be faithful and answerable to their calling and stewardship by providing things that are honest in the sight of all men while their final judgements should be left to God concerning their accountability in the utility of the materials and financial blessings entrusted to them as we follow the scriptures to lay down everything that belongs to God for the use of his kingdom at the apostles feet –in our local churches. There are so many good and small churches that are thriving financially and we ought to pray and be led to give our tithes in such good places to promote the kingdom of God and to strengthen the hands of the workers and builders. We should prayerfully discern the minsters whose god is their belly and seek to give to the churches and ministries that are indeed in need and are really reaching out to the poor, widows, the fatherless and the homeless-what shall one then answer the messengers of the nation, that the Lord has founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall trust in it. Materials provisions and supply should be abundant in Zion and distribution to be made according to the need of the inhabitant use and facility. We all knows that many watchmen are blind and selfish and they cannot have enough (greedy) as they look to their own way and gain: yet, many are sincere and honest, willing to reach out to the poor and to make the world a better place for the under-privileges and for the people of God-the household of faith. True believer has no ear to any anti –tithing messages and they should walk away from such conscious or un-conscious agents of Satan which are sabotaging the financial fruitfulness and prosperity of the kingdom of God. The scriptures command is that none should appear before the Lord empty handed (has everyman has proposed in his mind, so let him give, not grudging, neither of necessity or of compulsory, but God loves a cheerful giver) and to honour the Lord with our substance and with the first fruits of our increase which are the tithes. Many years back in Amsterdam-the Netherlands, a Dutch reformed place of worship was closed down because of financial in-capacity to pay their bills and some of Mohammedans (Muslims) came together and contributed and paid a million plus Euros to buy the property and converted it into a mosque. How many true churches has been financially shut down and the ministers were forced by the enemy to abandoned the temple work and declined from their consecration to fetch for themselves and many that ought to live by the things of the temple are now living out of the things away from the temple? This is always the case when we listen to the enemy’s voice and left the Lord’s cattle behind in Egypt to bringing forth for the Egyptians while the household of God is economically dry and his ministers ate and were not satisfied for scarcity of supply in the temple or were totally left uncared for. Why are there so many compromising and adulterated and flatteringmessages from many pulpits and churches today and so many fair speeches and sweet words preachers increasingly deceiving the hearts of the simple? The unrighteous preacher in his heart and selfish pursuit must by all means have the cattle left behind in Egypt from the custody of Pharaoh and from the hands of the ‘Egyptian believers’ (non tithing brethren) for his meat and for the maintenance of his household and for unreasonable peace from the pressure and threatening of the daughter of horseleech living with him (his wife. Proverbs 30:15) crying; give, give, or else, I go. Though Simeon Peter refused to sell the power of the Holy Spirit to Simeon the sorcerer upon his request to buy the anointing to make his money back during ministration to others, but many servants of God have sold out their souls to the devil for power and for worldly and material gain by making themselves like the Egyptian’s magicians and like Simeon the magician just to have the cattle that were left behind in Egypt by the stubborn believers who will not gracefully and willing give their tithes in the simplicity of Christ. Why are so many ministers of God becoming as cursed children who have forsaken the right way and have gone over to the way of Balaam for reward of divination and are having men’s person in admiration (men’s pleasers) because of advantage? The answer is simple, the cattle left behind in Egypt! Some years back in Turin where I was invited for a three days revival program, the pastor in charge of the church politely came and besought me on certain messages to preach and certain messages not to preach so as not to scare the people away with sound doctrine that we might have crowds and that the cattle in their possessions might be taken without much appeal. The truth behind the doctrinal corruption of many wide gate and broad way messages today is to enable the itching ears believers to give their money freely after hearing what they loved to hear and to release the cattle in their possession.
